I switched to a new prescription drug plan, so I had to switch my prescriptions. This Walgreens was the closest to me. I've shopped there before, so I had a positive impression. However, I'm now regretting that I switched my prescriptions. I cancelled an order I placed online because it couldn't be delivered in time. I re-ordered it for pickup and I paid for it and picked it up. However, the funds required for the original transaction are still being held in my bank account. The person in the pharmacy told me the order was cancelled, but it still shows up as an order on the Walgreens web site. There is no way to cancel it; the pharmacist has to do it. However, they didn't answer the phone. I'm hoping this review will spur some action. I can't afford to just give away $116! read more

I came in to the store a little before they were going to close and 2 ladies who work there said they could not serve the Ice Cream because they close at 10. Mind you it was not 10 yet. Their names are Erica and Angie. But they were deep in a conversation. Im sure they just did not want to be interrupted. I don't appreciate their lack of service when your doors clearly say 10pm. Go to the Rite Aid off of Carnelian instead better variety and they're actually allowed to price match their OWN website unlike this place. Not sure why something cost $6 online and $10 in store ??? Most recently I've been printing pictures and Alex was super helpful. As an elder millennial (ha!) I had some trouble figuring out the "how to" process. I don't like this place. I am old person....I have 13 prescription meds that need to be filled here....the mobile app is crap. Imagine getting the meds all out of timing whack....and having to drive here multiple times for refills....But, my insurance, Blue Cross/Blue Shield says I have to buy from Walgreens....and this is the closest one to my house. What a great deal for Walgreens....they inherit customers because we are directed here...not because of good pricing or great service....but because we have no choice. The pharmacy has some incredibly inconvenient rules...and they blame it on my insurance company all the time...or my doctors....today my Dr. prescribed an over the counter med that was not covered by insurance....so the pharmacy lady walked me over to the correct aisle and showed me my options.....THANK YOU! That's they way it ought to go....I looked, and a med that fit my needs was on sale...OMG how many times does that happen....in fact...if you bought one....you could get the second one 50% off!! Yea!!! But...there was only one. I asked the pharmacy lady if there were any more....she said she would have one of the service staff check the inventory. I heard the PA announcement "Service assistance needed at the pharmacy"..... several minutes passed....another announcement.....several more minutes passed....another announcement, a total of three without any response. The pharmacy lady told me....walk over to the photo department....one of the people there can definitely help you. So off I went....when I got there...two staff behind the counter talking, laughing....having a great conversation. One left as I approached....I inquired...and the staff person said "we get deliveries every couple of days....we don't keep any stock in the back".... she didn't offer to check...I was dismissed.....so I went to the register to pay for my medicine. Guess who was there? Lady #1....sorry, I must have interrupted the conversation....when it was my turn...."did you get everything you need"? I asked her why nobody responded to the three service requests over the PA.....she looked like the manager....she didn't answer me....she said....sorry for the delay..... I will be back....because my insurance company requires it....I would love to know on an annual basis, how much me and my insurance company spend here...not treated like a very good customer for the amount I spend.....the focus is entirely out of whack!!! If I had a choice....so many other pharmacy choices....I'd bolt in a minute....but I think I'll be around until Blue Cross gets pissed enough to go back to CVS....so all I can do is vent here.... read more

I called 1-800-Walgreens to complain about a huge delay in my medication and to also complain about an employee (Pharmacist actually) who is always rude to me when I call. This is how Walgreens handled the situation: They had the person I was complaining about call me and and ask me what happened. I went into great detail and of course, she made 1,000 excuses why Walgreens hadn't filled my medication and blamed my doctors office. Nope! Take responsibility, Walgreens! Then, I told her about the three complaints I had about the Pharmacist and at the end she said, "This is Blessy. I don't recall any of that happening!" Of course you don't, Blessy! I have witnesses to the three events and a recording! Nice try! Why would Walgreens have someone who was named in the complaint call the person?! I'm done with Walgreens! 9/6 3:45- Pharmacy- just left this one and the pharmacist was extremely rude. The sweet lady working the front was working her tail off while asking for something from someone in the back multiple times. Lady (white coat) in the back was laughing it up while the line backed up to over 5 people, and I heard her talking about someone's workers comp. Was there to pick up a prescription with a discount code from my doctor that they filled last month for about $12 using the discount code. This month the hard worker was looking around trying to figure it out as to why it wasn't ringing up with the discount. Lady in the white coat said they haven't done that for over a year on this specific medication when I reminded her it was done last month. She was extremely rude about it when I asked her why and where this was stated, especially when it was done 30 days ago, but they "haven't done that for over a year." I felt bad for the hardworker so instead paid $50 so I didn't hold up the line. Will not be going back, feel really bad for the first worker. read more

I am reviewing this because I did have COVID. I think at some level WALGREENS should be held legally responsible for the way they do businesses. I leave that up to hungry attorneys. I'll start here at a a simple question. If you have someone you care about, love them or say you care about my recommendation is not to reply on Walgreens at all. This coming from a man who was a caretaker for a man 10 years of his Parkinson's life I never used Walgreens very often but did not find out just how bad WALGREENS was till I needed to use them as a Pharmacy when contracting COVID. TODAY I finally got to get my medication almost 5 days after my initial need for the meds. Sadly I would not wish WALGREENS their app or website on my worst enemy. That's saying alot considering that I have been in IT SINCE 2001 and marketing shortly thereafter. Their website and App is sadly the worst I have ever seen. Again here are my recommendations. Do not trust WALGREENS from a man who decided to trust them I will assure you it could have been the death of me. I believe it will and could be because of their negligence the death of others we well. If it was not for me REEVALUATE myself at a urgent care and getting all the medication reissued through CVS I may not even be here to share with you how bad WALGREENS was. Here is where WALGREENS FAILS. 1. THEY HAD NO DESIRE TO HELP ME WITH MY PRESCRIPTION OTHER THAN TO CONTINUALLY DIVERT BACK TO THEIR WEBSITE OR APP. MY QUESTION IS FOR THE Elderly OR THE TECHNOLOGY LACKING. WHAT DO THEY DO. 2. A MANAGER COULD NOT HELP ME. 3. Multiple requests left me with no medications 4. The only way I got my prescriptions was to drive through the window after I was no longer sick and no longer needed the medication. I BELIEVE WALGREENS FAILED MISERABLY. I BELIEVE WALGREENS LIKE RADIOSHACK SHOULD HANG UP THEIR BUSINESS. I BELIEVE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOURSELF, OR A LOVED ONE YOU WILL NOT TRUST WALGREENS WITH THIS EXPERIENCE I AM SHARING. The people at this pharmacy have NO idea what they're doing. I called in the morning looking for a medication that my pharmacy (CVS) was out of. The girl said yes they have it but they can't request it from cvs, but that cvs would have to just send it to them. I called cvs who told me the opposite. But the girl at Walgreens INSISTED "we don't do that". I decided to call this Walgreens back in the evening to speak to someone else who said yes they absolutely can get my prescription from cvs. Great. Her exact words were "yeah we have that. We close in 30min so go ahead and make your way over here and it'll be ready before we close". I was so grateful! Walk into this store 10min later, give them my name and she says "oh we don't have that medication. Do you want me to order it?" After she told me 10min prior to "come on down". So I guess it doesn't matter what shift it is, because none of the employees have a clue about what's going on. read more

I have to say I am thankful for the mistake I caught that caused the manager to come and help me. The girl at the cash register made many mistakes and I would be scared to have her on the register unless she is making you money by overcharging customers. I bought 6 bottles of detergent at 2.99 per bottle. When she did it my total came to 12 something which was with 6 2.00 coupons taken off the subtotal was 12 something. Then she noticed she had an extra bottle and it came to 10. Something. 3x 6=18-12=10? Something definitely wrong with that picture. I had also asked her about reward points that she said I didn't have. Somebody may need more training. Thank goodness the manager took over. Check out what I really paid. read more

I always have bad luck with this Walgreens, they never get things right the first or second time. When I complained that I waited in the car for over 30 mins and the medications were wrong and I have to come back and wait again the pharmacist was rude and started complaining that he's been alone all day and super busy which I feel bad fir him but why it's my fault and not Walgreens being to cheap to have other people working. I called and cancelled my meds and had my doctor sends them to CVS as they have a minimum of three people working and do a better job with customer service. read more

We'll never thought I would have to make a review about a pharmacy. My wife gets really bad migraines. Twice now we have had to go there for her prescription. Both times they have been really rude. It seems as though they are mad that you are there to get the meds. Both times they have had a reason to not fill the prescription. The first time I went back to the urgent care and had them fix it. That seemed to make them even more irritated at us. The second time my wife went in and again same thing. They said it would take a couple hours and didn't recommended waiting in the meds. We explained we were going out of town and had to have the meds that evening. When we went back they had found another resin to not fill the same prescription we had previously had filled there. By this time the doctors office is closed and they were closing in 20 minutes. I asked if they could send the prescription to a 24 hour pharmacy and they said they couldn't do that, the other pharmacy would have to request the prescription they couldn't just send it. They make you feel as if your in the wrong for needing meds. I wish I could give a minus 5 star review. Whatever you do don't go here. Walgreens please look into getting some pharmacist who want to help people and aren't on a power trip. It's un human how they act. read more

This pharmacy is a joke! Avoid at all costs if you can. I had to have my prescription transferred from the Walgreens by my house all the way over here. I drive the entire way, wait to pick up my rX, and I present a discount from goodrx.com, because I have no insurance. On the coupon it says in bold writing "Show this to pharmacist". I show him my discount and he says it needs to be PRINTED out. It says that NOWHERE, in fact, it says SHOW. he refused to let me use the discount. I'm glad I drove all this way with a swollen eye just to be told I have to pay full price. Guy working pharmacy is a jerk. read more
