They keep changing things around! Grr. This place keeps getting worse. Employees are NOT friendly anymore and on more than one occasion have told me that the new manager and scheduling are not good. I've noticed they really push the self checkout which has a fine, but I normally have wine in my cart so I'm tats not an option. Plus I buy for the week so I'm not scanning 100+ items... ain't nobody got time for that! I've also noticed they are not stocking as much as they used to. Today there was NOT one bottle of Hidden Valley Ranch on the shelves except a measly 4 bottles of cucumber ranch and 2 bottles of organic ranch. I even checked to see if there was a recall because this is a disgrace!!!! There was no Lucerne sliced American cheese only name brand stuff like Kraft Deli deluxe at ridiculous prices. They just rearranged he produce section again, grr. At least put the onions and potatoes in the sane place as before?! The soup aisle was a a lot smaller and a lot more confusing now that the cans are not on dispensers like before, and just weirdly stacked on the shelves with no order or anything. I keep coming back because this is the closest Albertsons and I don't like the smaller competitors near me that start with S and R. They are smaller flagship stores than their counterparts. But it's torture each week to shop here. read more

I went to this Albertsons yesterday @6-20-6:30pm. After waiting for @10 minutes at the customer service to use Western Union. An employee came to inform us that no manager is available because one is lunch and another mgr is in the back busy and we have to wait another 15-20 minutes before manager can come and help. That's not a customer service neither the company policy that we customer have to wait because he doing something else. This rating is for the bakery and the pre-order birthday cake. I don't really shop in this Albertsons, it's a little out of the way. But I'm only "allowed" to order birthday cakes here, my big kids give me dirty look if I got the cake elsewhere! The half sheet cake with whipped cream & fresh fruit, our family and friends always asked where the cakes from. I believe it's store policy not to honor their advertised pricing on many items. It doesn't matter if it's a "clipped coupon" or an "Albertsons for U" or just an item from the weekly ad. So you can walk out thinking you saved x amount of money, but, in reality, you've been hornswoggled (as they use to say in the old time saloons). However, the personnel are exemplary and the store is clean. So, there's that. Just make sure you check your receipt. If the overcharge is just a few bucks, it's probably not worth the time and aggravation to trudge back to customer service in order to get it rectified. And, believe me, Albertson's relies on that fact. So I don't see any change in that policy of deceit in the near future. For me, the store location is too convenient to go elsewhere; so I just grin and bear it. Happy Motoring Folks read more

Meh... Please note, I don't normally shop here, but after my hair appointment across the street, I popped in to grab a few things for dinner before I headed home. Sadly, I left feeling underwhelmed. Yes, they were fully stocked, and had the few things I needed. I think I am disappointed mostly with the complete lack of customer service. Not one single employee said 2 words to any customers. This past wkend I needed a cake for my sons bday and they did just what I asked for, the cake was not only GOOD LOOKING BUT BOMB to make it even better!!! Hmmm what gives Albertsons? Out of stock on the sale corn Saturday AM before 4th of July on Monday. Plenty of the $5.99 corn that they push to the front of the store. This store seems to be constantly out of ad items. I've come at 630 am to buy a sale beef item and noticed the butcher only puts one out in the morning so inevitably you either pick something else out. When I asked he said no that's the only one we have. Bait and switch anyone? I haven't noticed this with all Albertsons but this one for sure, granted I come to this store the most frequent. I had originally given 2 stars because Beatriz at checkout was great (she still is) **Update** Forgot to add that that pricing is wrong so often. It's always 20-50 cents and you think who has time to go back for it, but I'm tired of these guys literally nickel and diming the customers. read more

If I could give a one star I would!!! I've shopped here for 15 years and can't believe how I was treated!!! Absolutely do not ever ever ever shop in the Albertson's store on the corner of Foothill and Vineyard in Rancho Cucamonga!!! I was just verbally accosted by some woman at the Starbucks counter. The Starbucks employee did nothing and the Store Manager watched and did nothing. Then when I complained to him that he did nothing, he still did nothing. So I'm calling the District Manager tomorrow and the corporate office on Monday to complain. She had the audacity to say while I was standing in line waiting to be served after they finished serving her, that I was standing too close to her in a very rude and abrasive manner. She could have said it politely. I told her I was not because I don't like anybody standing close to me. Then she just started verbally accosting me, cursed me out, and threatened to physically harm me. Meanwhile, the employee at the Starbucks counter does nothing and the manager stands by watches it and does nothing! Not one person in that store that's employed there did a thing. Came at night and wasn't crowded. Friendly staffs and self checkout available. This location is way better than the service I received from Alhambra. If I'm around this area visiting relatives again, then I definitely will come back. Nice, and spacious everywhere. Even the meat lady greeted me with a hello. I've been going to this Albertsons for ages (it used to be off of Baseline and Archibald) and it's one of those neighborhood stores where the locals know the staff and vice-versa. I love this store for nostalgic reasons but even more so because they had yeast and it's so hard to find that right now during these Covid-19 times! They're also conveniently located in a nice location off of Route 66 and Vineyard. We ordered a birthday cake for yesterday afternoon. It was supposed to be chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, and white trim, what we got was white cake with white frosting & white trim. They were apologetic and discounted the cake, but I didn't need the price discounted, I needed the cake I ordered. How do you make such a mistake?! My personal belief is just pure carelessness or laziness. They messed up my cake order several years ago so I stopped ordering cakes there, but since Ontario Bakery closed I figured I'd give them another chance. Stupid decision. I witnessed a customer have a complete meltdown in front of me today because she didn't like the coupon app. She was very rude to the cashier. It wasn't the cashier's fault but the cashier and bagger was still very patient, kind and helpful even though they were being mistreated by the rude customer. I think the cashier's name was Michelle? (I think she had black hair). Just wanted management to know she and the bagger (a male employee) were very professional in this situation even though they were being mistreated. UPDATE: So, today I went back to Albertsons and I noticed that my clipped coupons from the Albertsons app weren't discounting the items as I checked out. I asked the cashier why the discounts weren't going through and she said that after I picked each item on the Albertsons app and clicked the coupons, I still had to go back under my item list and check all the items again after I already checked them the first time. I had no idea that you have to do this process where you click each item under each category and then go under your coupon list and check them again before you check out to get the discount. so that means this whole time that I've been shopping at Albertson's I haven't been getting any discounts which is very disappointing. stater brothers has an easier system where you only have to enter your phone number and you automatically get the discounts instead of having to go through this long process. I hope Albertsons considers changing this and making it easier on customers. read more

Pharmacy is terrible. Customer service is terrible. They have no sense of urgency. I hadn't picked up my prescription within 10 days so they I had to have my doctor approve it again in order to get it filled even though I never actually filled it the first time. I called 6 times yesterday and never spoke to a person other than the two times they put me on hold and hung up on me. read more

Sharing my experiences as a fellow employee, started off by getting sexually harassed by my department manager back in January of 2022 and had to lie to all the customers & people I worked with to not make the store look bad. upper management will pick on every little move you make, extreme gossiping, harassment is crazy there! Along with many other issues, I am currently dealing with the union but will no longer be quiet when it comes to this place because it doesn't seem as if the union cares. Don't get me wrong there are alot of sweet & kindhearted people who work here but management will ruin your experience 100%. They forget we're human too. You will always walk into good energy especially from their amazing store manager! followed by happy cashiers and all employees! Cashiers and Baggers are super sweet and fast , I've seen the lines long on thanksgiving but WOW cashier and baggers handled it like pros! We have been going to this Albertsons for at least 14-15 years and we have enjoyed its variety of options and products. We love it's late hours especially when you're in a pinch. For the most part we have been generally pleased with the store. However lately it's been not so great where we have come home to realize we bought expired products. This has happened twice in the past two months. The first time we just threw away the item bc it wasn't worth much. The 2nd time was a bottle of extra virgin olive oil. It was almost 1 year past it's expiration date! I sent my husband to exchange the oil and the manager gave him an attitude like if it was inconveniencing him to fix the issue. The manager got very defensive and was very unprofessional. I don't know what's happening but they need to get their stuff more organized. There are lots of grocery stores in our area so I am taking my business elsewhere. read more
