I am extremely angry and frustrated about my experience at the CVS on Walton with the store manager Ahmed. I picked up two boxes of L'Oreal hair dye because there was clearly a sign saying the second one was $6 off. At checkout, Ahmed suddenly claimed there was no promotion. First he said he never saw the sign. Then after he went to "check," the sign magically disappeared. After that, he kept changing his story, saying maybe it blew away, then later admitting the promotion had expired the day before. The issue is not the $6. The issue is the dishonesty. Instead of simply admitting the expired sign was left up by mistake, he kept making excuses and acting like I was making it up. "Buy one get one $6 off" is NOT the same as "come back another day for $6 off." I already paid and do not want to return to deal with this nonsense again. 0 star for Ahmed's shitty service and dishonest, giving 1 star just for saving this comment. read more

I drove 15 minutes to purchase an item after finding online this store had 2 in stock. I looked on the shelf and didn't see it, so I went to the counter and asked for help. I told the man at the counter that the website for this store showed 2 in stock, so he went over to the isle and also did not find it, He said he would check the back room but returned saying the item is not in stock. Rude, rude, RUDE!! Nobody wants to feel worse after they're already sick and that's exactly what this pharmacy has done to me on numerous occasions. I just had a tonsillectomy as an adult and it's the most painful experience I've ever had - I can barely talk. My husband just called at 11 am on 12/27 and the woman on the phone first made us feel stupid for asking for a refill from our regular pharmacy after the hospital had initially filled it and second hung up on him while he was in the middle of speaking to her. I have finally decided I will never return here after being forced too from Rite Aid shutting down. The automated call system is HORRIBLE. Forcing me to leave a voicemail and then wait for them to call me back, while I cannot speak. Total nightmare experience go anywhere but here. read more

The location is great, the parking is easy, it's close to Ascension and lots of neighborhoods. CVS has a great website and is usually very clean and organized. This particular location is slow and under staffed. The checkout at the front of the store was fine, but the pharmacy was difficult to work with and slower than other locations. I'd come here again, but if you are in a hurry or have a complicated script or unusual med to fill, you may want to pick another location. read more

This is not a review on products as much as the hiring process. I applied to another store and it took two months to even get started there and I ended up not taking the position for a multitude of reasons all the manager had to do was send an email to another store to get me hired on Which was the acceptance letter, but I couldn't start until they did that which it took up to a month for him to do he made excuses such a as it was his birthday. He was on vacation and his dog died second it seems like none of the management or anyone is in the loop on what is going on there. three once I was there there was video training which took forever and the lady who was doing the paper work for it was absolutely rude she made it seem like I was the one holding up the process until I pointed out they didn't do anything on there end and I had to badger them for weeks to send me the email and for the hiring process after they finally sent the letter of acceptance the on boarding was nothing like I've ever seen before. i've had a couple government jobs in my time and it was easier to get into those positions than it was to be a part-time cashier for them all in all do not apply here. It is a waste of time and energy and they lack basic communication skills, the majority of the time I was there I didn't know where I even would be placed. Drive through pharmacy staff, particularly the young guy, is the worst, most cold, grouchy person ever. No eye contact, mean demeanor, and zero customer service skills. I'm not the biggest fan of pharmacies because I find that their shelf items are grossly overpriced. But, they do serve a purpose and I like having several close to my home. I've been here several times for a variety of different reasons. Each time I've gone in, it's for a specific reason, and today was no different. I have been sick for about a week now, and found that Meijers pharmacy just wasn't cutting it in regards to medicine that I was looking for. I like that they have a full range of medical options here, and it's a nice variety of stuff. It's not the cheapest, but I do find what I'm looking for when I'm sick or suffering from a particular condition. I think they are open 24 hours, and the staff here, especially in the pharmacy is really super helpful. I have a really bad chest cold this time, so I needed something for the wheezing and shortness of breath that I'm struggling with. (I sound like a horse right now. LOL.) The gal knew exactly what I needed and grabbed it off the back shelf right away. I loved that I didn't have to explain to much and she didn't try to sell me 9 million dollars worth of over the counter medicine either. They also have a convienient location and a photo machine here as well that I've used several times before. I like using their photo machine since it works most times and I can get in and out in a jiffy. Overall, not a half bad place, but when I need serious medicine, I come here. read more

Every time I encounter her while there, I'm being super polite to her, and pleasant... she's nothing but cold and RUDE. I'm very disappointed in this pharmacy. I came back to CVS this year for my part D prescriptions not knowing they are unable to fill Part B prescriptions. They asked for $1300 to fill one month of a nebulizer med that should cost me $0 as it's covered by Medicare Part B. I had to get my doctor to rewrite my part B prescriptions to walmart and so now have to go two places for my medicine needs. When Medicare permits me to change plans at year end I will not use this store again. I recommend avoiding this store. read more

I use to really like this cvs, it has everything you need and its arranged nicely with an easy lay out. However its far more worth going a little further down the road to a different convenient store then coming here. The woman working up front, i dont know her name but if you've ever been here I'm sure you know who I'm talking about, has horrible customer service. She's extremely rude and would push you out of the store if she could. Ive dealt with her attitude many times and it makes shopping experiences not so convenient. Shes grabbed my i.d. out of my hand, refused big bills and ignored me talking to her. Ive always stayed appreciative and kind knowing that customer service is a shitty job and you deal with obnoxious and rude people all day long but I go out of my way to be kind to her knowing how she will react in return. She makes me feel bad about my purchases. Definitely will not be coming here any longer knowing shes going to be working up front. read more

Went to pick something up before work at 7:30 am. First impression walking through the front door was the filthy dirt covered windows. So bad I could barely see through them. Then I needed to use the restroom, also dirty, trash on floor, clearly not cleaned for the new day of business. The clerks are friendly and helpful, love the selection they offer. This was my pharmacy for 4 years before I left Michigan. I don't get sick very often, so I didn't fill prescriptions very often. However, when I did, service was good, my prescription was ready to be picked up in the estimated time they would give me, and there was rarely a line. They also have a drive through window too, for your convenience, but I never used it. So, I'm not sure what my current pharmacy is doing wrong, but they should learn from these guys. I will do a review on them after I finish this if I don't get too tired. Otherwise, I liked using them for their retail products too. Who would've thought that this would be a dangerous place for me to browse & spend money? Lotion, shampoo, conditioner, nail polish, hair accessories, soap, vitamins, sunscreen, holiday bags, photo processing (before I had a digital camera or when I chose to use disposable cameras), etc. It helps that they have a rewards program ("Extra Care") that would give coupons for $ off based on how much you spend. Oh yeah, both the store & pharmacy are open 24 hours! That's great for if you've come from the urgent care, ER, L&D, or where ever you've gotten prescriptions at some ungodly hour & the sooner you start them, the better. For example, you got antibiotics for a UTI...the sooner you start the antibiotics, the sooner things start getting better & the discomfort goes away. Oh yeah, they also carry Plan B, not that I've had to use it. I asked out of occupational interest at the time. Again, being open 24 hrs & carrying Plan B is a wonderful thing, as the sooner you take it after unprotected intercourse (ideally within 72 hours), the lower your chance of pregnancy. BTW, if you're over 18 years old, you don't need a scrip; it's over-the-counter, but behind-the-counter, so you do have to ask the pharmacist for it. I'd have to say, I only visited the pharmacy and not the regular check-out, so this review is for the pharmacy. I came in about 35 minutes before closing and needed a script on an emergency basis. The pharmacist went above and beyond to take care of me on all levels. Wish I remembered her name, as this was about a month ago. I'm only giving one star because I can't give zero. I was informed that my daughter's medication would take 10 days to arrive. After 11 days waiting and without receiving any communication, I decided to contact the pharmacy to find out that they gave up on my order and didn't bother to let us know. My daughter needs the medication, and she hasn't been able to follow her treatment for more than 10 days. It was not the first time that CVS Walton Boulevard messed up our prescription. About 3 years ago, I took the wrong dose of medication for 4 months, a dose that was never prescribed by my doctor. And on another occasion, I found a completely different colored pill at the bottom of my medication container. They are playing with people's health. I will never go back there. read more

I may have a small addiction to CVS extra bucks... A cvs card, some coupons and the weekly flyer... And I'm off! I love collecting those extra bucks, love seeing how much I save... This store is the one I hit up most just based on location... But, it's a great store, easily accessible, always well stocked, 24hrs and the staff are all really friendly. They are a busy store... OU is right there, and it's just so convenient for everyone else to pop by- they really would benefit from keeping more cashiers open. Sometimes the line can get looong... Then I feel bad for the lonely cashier. A helping hand usually comes along eventually. read more

Went to Minute Clinic at CVS here yesterday. My grandaughter was attacked by a swarm of bees, stinging her 10 plus times. The wait was aprox. an hour.and half even though she was screaming in pain. Isn't there a protocol for taking emergent cases ahead of sore throat, colds ect? The NP was very compassionate once in the office but the length of wait was unacceptable for a histerical child. read more

Went on a Sunday directly from being released from ER as it's the only pharmacy open till 8. Arrived at 7:48 and they would not fill it saying they needed at least 15 minutes. This pharmacy has screwed up prescriptions for us THREE times now. Received a voicemail around 11 am notifying me that my prescription was ready and had to be picked up that day because it would go back on the shelves the next day if I didn't. I went by after work around 4pm, and the woman working the drive thru told tell me that they already put it away and I'd have to wait another 45 minutes before it would be ready again. One- how does it take 45 minutes to fill a pre-packaged medication? Two- it's ridiculous that I received the message that morning and I got there and it was not available for me. This cvs does not seem to follow its own protocol for putting medications back on the shelves. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

I went to CVS on Saturday to attempt to use a coupon that will expire on Sunday. The cashier Shiela seemed to be having a challenging day before I spoke with her as she was frustratedwith the customer before me. So I came to the counter and asked about the coupon. She was very rude and told me to check bk. I asked what days do you all restock, she said I can't share that information with you. So as she proceeded to check me out, another group of customers came in and attempted to use the photos kiosk. She yelled across the machine wasn't working for prints. The customers didn't appreciate her yelling at them and said something. She got smart with the customers and said she wasn't yelling. Now another customer was at self check out waiting for her to come approve her ID as she purchased Nitequil. I said to the customer did the energy change in here? She said yes something is off. I proceeded to check out and told her I hope your evening gets better. She sarcastically says to me I don't it to get better I'm fine. I laughed and ran out because she is always rude and aggressive with customers. She needs customer service training fast before she gets out of character with the wrong customer. read more

I used to love this store, because they were always friendly and helpful. But, the last few times I've been there, there was a really rude girl, with red hair and glasses, who works at night.. The staff at this pharmacy consistently ignore the concepts of logic, reason, and effort as well as their own protocol. Every time I pick up a script I end up asking myself, "What the heck is wrong with you people," in a new and different way. My favorite example of this was when I dropped off a refill due to a dosing increase. I had enough on hand for that day so I returned to pick it up the next day, at which point I was told it was not in the system and I would have to go back to intake/dropoff because it had been too soon to refill yesterday. Ok fine, but can you tell me why its 12:30pm and it hasn't been refilled yet today if today was the first day it could be refilled? Also, would you care to explain to me why you had this for a full 24 hours but didn't bother to call myself or the prescribing doctor (same office for both scripts) at all if you had a question? (Not to mention, which is it - timing or did you have a question? And one more time... why do I have to submit again when I gave this to you yesterday?!) If you took the time to compare, you probably could have noticed yourself the dosing had increased and then had that 'A-Ha!' moment realizing, 'Hey... I bet this person is running out of the first script since their doaing just doubled...' But yeah, probably the best route is just to cancel and ignore. People like hanging around waiting for their scripts anyway, right?! read more

It's the first time I tried to use a coupon on my phone. At first the clerk couldn't get it to work. He has to cancel 4 times. But he didn't give up! Finally with the help of his manager, he got the coupon to work. He is to be commended for not giving up and helped a customer till satisfaction. Very nice! Thanks!
