Whether it's drive through or going inside, sometimes I am able to get my prescription and get out of there, other times I'm waiting for a long time. I explained that it was my legal right to pay cash for my medication and not my insurance and she stated that CVS policy supersedes Federal law. I recorded the conversation. I have called CVS customer service and the executive pharmacist. Steven returned my call and said they were going to escalate it. I will be without medication starting tomorrow. I will no longer use this Pharmacy. I will find a mom and Pop local pharmacy and start using them for my medication. When a pharmacist tells you that policy supersedes law, there is a legal issue. But the customer service at this place is just beyond terrible. Omar at the pharmacy's terrible behavior and service convinced me to take my prescription business elsewhere, but I decided to give it another shot because it's so close for grabbing a gallon of milk or something I need quick. After today I will be giving it another try. Went in this morning and was the only guy in the place. When I goto check out, there is a woman in a cvs shirt at the checkout, talking to the worker about her personal life. And some nonsense with her boyfriend. To avoid that unprofessional nonsense, I used the self check out. As usual, self check out is not programmed to match the sales in signs that they have in the store, so stuff is not reading that correctly. I hit the button for help. I get no response even though the people are less than 10 feet away from me. I tried couple things to get the machine to ring stuff up correctly and it doesn't work. At this point I just give up because I'm not overpaying for merchandise. Finally as I'm walking out the door the guy asks if I need assistance. I tell him go back to your social hour, I'll spend my money elsewhere. This place is going downhill and if location is the only thing keeping this store open. Service is trash. Not only did this store have all of the medical supplies I needed, WITHOUT PRESCRIPTION, it was affordable, and the pharmacist helped me to figure out what I needed! The pharmacy was in the back of a huge grocery store, so not only could I get my affordable medical supplies I also could get my last minute shopping supplies. Thank you country across the street for allowing us over, and taking care of us while we were there.
