Truthfully, since they were on sale, and I had tried 3 or 4 CVS's and I had no luck. I stumbled into this CVS on my way home and low and behold, my chocolates were in stock. But, of course, the sale price had expired. The person at the counter, was so nice and found a coupon on my extra care card, that took a little bit off. The next time I visited, I was looking for bags and cards. I found two really cute gift bags and I bought those and some healthy gluten free treats. So, I am impressed with the service, the people who work there, and the items in stock. Thanks CVS.

I got out of the emergency room a couple of days ago, and think that they told me they had sent…read moreorders for a couple of prescriptions to my CVS (1580 Rockville Pike). So, on my way home, I was still feeling pretty crummy, but stopped at the drive-through pharmacy and asked about my prescriptions. The woman who waited on me had two other prescriptions from a different doctor's visit, but not from the ER. I asked whether two other orders were received from the ER that day, but she didn't seem to understand English enough to answer my question. It was about 100 degrees F that day and I couldn't stick around to find out. I drove home wondering whether they may have received the orders but had insufficient time to fill them. I thought that I would call the next day and find out. The next day I felt even more awful, so called the CVS to ask about my prescriptions. I got a machine that answered the phone and of course my question was not among its prepared selections. No matter how many times I tried to ask for a person or a customer service representative, the machine insisted that I choose from its menu, which didn't fit my question. I called again and again, and couldn't get past the machine-- until one time it allowed me to leave a voice mail. I left my voice mail, which assured me that someone would get back to me, but guess again. I received a text message that said they received my voice mail and were working on it-- but now, two days have passed and I still have not received a call from them. After being too sick to do anything yesterday, I thought that I would try to pass through the drive-through to ask my question again this evening--- but when I looked up their pharmacy hours just now, I can't find any indication of their drive-through hours, and I'm too sick to walk and wait in line-- if the pharmacy, not just the store, is open at all! What kind of pharmacy is this? One that lets its customers die before giving them any information, let alone meds? If CVS does not improve substantially (i.e. have a person who answers the phone!) I'm moving my business elsewhere!

I don't mean to insult most of the younger working generations. I'm hoping it's a minority of individuals, but when it comes to being helpful, CVS is very weak. Recently, my prescriptions changed for the Gramercy location, which is closing, to Upper Rock. One prescription had no refills. Therefore, the way I understand it, they didn't have it (technically) added to their system? This is even though it was in the system of Gramercy. But, what makes it worse is the pharmacist would neither phone my doctor's office nor the Gramercy location to help get the refillable prescription in their store's system. Is this laziness? Is this policy? Whatever it is, it doesn't make sense. I should add that when I talked to an individual from that pharmacy a few days before and mentioned all the prescriptions that needed to be refilled, that individual did not inform me there would be a problem with them contacting my doctor. To highlight the ineptness of the location, I have requested receiving text messages informing me when prescriptions are ready for pickup, and I am not receiving them.

They have a great card selection. I always pick up greeting cards when I am there. They usually have my Hershey's miniatures which have been hard to find in the dark chocolate flavor. I always enjoy looking through their holiday decorations. I always end up getting a few for my home. I have the CVS care card, so I can earn money back when I use their coupons. This is a great CVS. This CVS usually…read morehas a great selection of holiday decorations whether it is Halloween, Christmas, or Valentine's Day. And, I wasn't wrong...this CVS was stocked with some adorable talking pumpkins, scary ghouls, and light up skeletons. I ended up leaving with some Halloween candy. The selection was good, but the prices were too high. The staff is always nice and the store is clean and well organized. I am glad that I stopped by.

Had an awful experience here today. We went to buy important stuff. My wife was paying and i was…read morereturning some stuff, my son who has autism was looking at the candies near the counter and checking it, not even opening it. i was from an aisle to return an item, the in store manager yelled multiple times at my son, i confronted him as he was not even opening the candies and why he would yell so hard. i told him that my son has autism, but he was unapologitic and was even telling how an irresponsible parent i was. he was rude, unprofessional and did not even apologize for what he did. Other staff was the one who was apologizing for his actions. Worst CVS i've been to because of that in store manager. He's rude, unprofessional.

Which meant a lot to me because people previously at Harris teeters pharmacy's just threw out any price to me without even trying to look up anything for me. (Even though it's a simple look up from goodrx.) It's hard to find people with enough compassion to do this job I guess. So far the best experience with pharmacy's I had in Rockville was from here. It's conveniently located in Target... So you can basically drop off your prescription and shop around for a little while then do a pick up. Definitely coming back here if I ever need to.

Prices are reasonable and they have all manner of health supplies. They are also stocked with ice cream and snacks in the rear of the store.
