That shocked me to begin with. Although she was out of stock she recommended calling my doctor and having them adjust the dosage as she had a different strength available. I did as she suggested and everything worked out! She even called to tell me she received the script from my doctor and I could come anytime. I showed up at 5:30pm as she closes at 6 and she said you must be Renee. I was like omg hey yes I am! The pharmacy is so cute and so private you don't feel uncomfortable like at other pharmacies. I honestly always feel judged whether it is from a pharmacist or a pharmacy tech. Mai and I got to chatting about other medications I take and she said she would make sure they were stocked on the shelf for me. Wow! How great! I also let her know my troubles with CVS/Rite Aid and she agreed pharmacists shouldn't be interfering with what the doctors recommend. Love that! After a delightful few minutes, I was all checked out and ready to go and Mai offered me a drink! Like an actual drink which normally people would buy. I was like are you sure?? She was like yes please be my guest and she even walked me to the door. This was hands down the best experience I have ever had in a pharmacy if not just in general! But there are long lines, other sick people crowding your space, the pharmacist may or may not be friendly...and then, when you finally hand over your prescription, you are told there will be a ridiculously long wait. Seriously, it sucks. Until you discover Vashan Compounding Pharmacy. This place is so cute, calming, and clean. The pharmacists and staff are so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They filled my prescriptions so quickly that I didn't even know it was possible to get a prescription filled so fast. Even compared to other compounding pharmacies, the pharmacists here work much faster while still producing high quality medicine. So while you may never think, "oh yay, I have to go to the pharmacy today!" at least at Vashan you'll feel peace of mind knowing that you'll be taken care of.

All assistants and clerks are also extremely helpful and any questions they can't answer are referred quickly to the pharmacist. I feel fortunate to have a pharmacy in the neighborhood where caring comes first and service is excellent. Parking is free although shared with other businesses including a Whole Foods Market AND Ledo's pizza. Another service that matters for those times you aren't well enough to get to them for your prescription is THEY DELIVER. They sure do, in EVERY way.
