This pharmacy has now made mistakes with my prescriptions twice!! I will not be returning. The first incident involved me being given medication instructions that belonged to an entirely different patient. As a result, I had to drive all the way back to the pharmacy to receive the correct paperwork and medication information. The second incident was even more frustrating. After noticing that I had been given the wrong medication, I brought it to the attention of the pharmacist trainee assisting me. Instead of investigating the issue, she immediately insisted that I was mistaken and responded with an unprofessional attitude. I pulled up my prescription history to show that the medication did not match what had previously been prescribed to me, but she dismissed my concerns by stating that the medication was "no longer in the system." Because of a knee injury, standing for extended periods is difficult for me, yet I waited for approximately 10 minutes while she handled other tasks before confirming that the incorrect medication had been removed and that the issue had been resolved. She eventually returned and asked if I needed anything else, despite the fact that I was still waiting for a simple confirmation that the correction had been made. Unfortunately, I do not remember the pharmacist trainee's name. She was a young female employee whose badge indicated that she was still in school, and this interaction occurred on 7/10. Mistakes can happen, but patient safety and customer service should always be priorities. Giving a patient another person's medication information is a serious issue, and dismissing concerns when a patient points out a potential error only makes the situation worse. I hope additional training and improvements are made to prevent similar experiences for others. read more

Sickening Staff is unable to fullfill simple requests Staff cannot answer the phone, held for 28 minutes today without anyone ever answering. Prescription is on auro refill, was promised at 10am Monday 3/4 I called automated system to verify, it said Rx ready 10AM Tuesday--so i go a day without needed n prescribed med. I show up at 11AM Tuesday, 1 pharmacist and 2 staff, no one comes to the counter. After waiting approx 3 min, turns out no Rx ready.???!!!! Drug has not been ordered--for what they call an auto refill. This is bogus!!!! Im asked to step to a different counter. I wait again. Somehow, now they have the knowledge that my Rx is not available. How they didn't have this information Sunday or Monday is not explained. Staff say we will send your Dr a note for new dose, same drug, i wait again. After 5 min she says its done. My Dr replys within the hour , by 1:45 At 2:30 i call this good for nothing pharmacy, i hold for 28 minutes, trying to verify they have everything needed to fill. I never get my call answered. I drive, for the second time today, to this cvs. I wait. Rx is NOT READY I AM INVITED TO WAIT ANOTHER 30 minutes They say i have to wait bc its a new Rx. The Hell it is Its the same Rx ive been in touch with your establishment since Monday! Trying! To Fill. I left Now i will need a high blood pressure medication-- 1st time Ever in My Life. By far the worst CVS location/pharmacy I ever been to. Workers here are either untrained or they just don't gaf about their customers. I've been reaching out to schedule a follow up vaccine appointment for both my parents. Walked in the store, they told me to go online so I did, but the interface is not letting me do it. I called twice, and was on hold for over 40 minutes. I can never get in touch of anyone & when I finally did, the representative told me to go back online to schedule it. LOL this place is a joke. Anyway, now that I have someone on the phone, when I was explaining that it is not letting me, the so called "pharmacist" or whatever he was, was so unprofessional and just continued to speak over me telling me to do the exact same thing. CLEARLY UNABLE TO LISTEN AND UNDERSTAND. what is going on? When I finally had a chance to explain what's going on, he just told me to call the customer service. I asked what's the number and he hanged up. I had to call back to speak to Tori to get the number. When I asked for the other representative's name, apparently none of the other workers there remember talking to me. Okay, well, contacted CVS customer service per their instructions & made sure to leave feedback about this specific location as well. The quality of customer service definitely declined for the past month and continue to do to. Save yourself the stress and try to get your prescription refilled at Walgreens instead. read more

Pharmacies seem super busy these days but overall the service is friendly and efficient. Some of the pharmacists remember the customers and seem happy to see you. It seems like a stressful environment but they handle it well. read more

This CVS is the worst ever! My son who is a student at SF State and takes Concerta got so screwed by the service there! They messed him up getting his medicine 2 months in a row, and then when I called to help , I was told SORRY but we don't have the medicine in stock nor can we tell you when it will be here in stock. They told us to call around SF to confirm the pharmacy had it in stock, and then we were also expected to coordinate with our primary dr to call in a new prescription. We were told this at the last minute after my son had already jumped through all the hoops from their mess up last month. I was forced to rely on my wonderful CVS here in San Ramon to save us! I feel horrible for the other students who also have to try and use this CVS for their Concerta I heard that the CVS on 19th has great customer service, so hopefully they will be good backup read more

I've never seen such widespread incompetence in my entire. This is the nightmare pharmacy. They will leave you frustrated to the point you are pulling your hair out. No one here can get anything right. Need your medications promptly? Hah! Try waiting days and then they will jerk you around making you wait in the dump Target forever. I've had to wait an hour plus there AFTER confirming the meds were ready. Everyone here should be fired. Zero stars! Worst pharmacy I have ever had the displeasure of using. I HATE this place. This pharmacy will not stop calling me to refill prescrtions I don't need. I've gotten machine calls and I'm person calls. Very intrusive and rude. this pharmacy is the worst pharmacy I've ever gotten service from. They told me they didn't have my prescript ions and after some back and forth calls with my doctor, I find out they did have it they just didn't look for it!! They never have medications ready, they mess up the insurance, and those so called texts I'm supposed to receive when my meds are ready... I don't get them. appointment for vaccines do not start even close to on time. Also if you are a manager interacting with a parent of a child, maybe first identify yourself before offering suggestions. Note to staff and said manager, people with Autism are aware of people and just because they are not making eye contact with you doesn't mean they don't notice you hovering and staring. Never sent over the information needed for my physician to approve my prescription refill and had to do all the work they were supposed to do. Took time out of my work to do their job. The men I interacted with on the phone were simultaneously very incompetent, and very sensitive to being perceived as such. A dangerous combination. I had a very negative interaction with a pharmacist and his supervisor trying to get basic information. I called back, reached a female, who was not only much nicer and less insecure, but who easily found the answer to my question. read more

Karl was incredibly rude and said my friend didn't have insurance when she does. Whenever she asked a question about her medication he just kept stating no insurance, judging from other reviews it seems like this could just be an issue of age discrimination on his part. Every time I try and get a new prescription sent here there's is ALWAYS some kind of issue. Recently I was prescribed a common Blood Pressure medication and was told they would need to order it. Over a month later and script is still just sitting there. I received no calls, updates or explanation. I was able to survive by doubling the lower dose I had previously been prescribed. If you need a scheduled medication from this pharmacy expect a million hoops to jump through from verifying with your doctor multiple times, to odd excuses stating insurance won't cover? To being accused of improperly taking/refilling. I've never felt so completely abused by a pharmacy. It should be simply that my physician prescribes medication, pharmacy fills it, I pick it up in a reasonable time frame. I have no idea why it's such an issue EVERY single time. I even had an emergency and had the emergency clinic near Stonestown prescribe a common anti-bacterial eye ointment for me that took several HOURS to fill. Apparently that too needed verification even though it was sent electronically same day. I also was recently prescribed a medication for nausea (during pregnancy) which they of course didn't have. My husband was told it was just a B vitamin and to look on the shelf. He then proceeded to look for said vitamin, couldn't find it and when he turned around to ask the pharmacist again they had closed the service window. Apparently we were expected to Just figure it out. I've previously filled out a pharmacy survey stating my dissatisfaction, and upon my next visit had a pharmacist "school" me on why I was "wrong" to think they sucked so bad. Worst cvs I have ever been to. There is always an issue when the doctor faxes a prescription... they either say they didn't receive it or provide inaccurate information as to why they are unable to ie it is too soon to fill. They do not have refills ready at the time they say they will be. Not only is there always an issue with filling prescriptions and communication on their end, they are rude and act as though the issue is on your end. Your doctor may have to call to fix the issue and have them fill it while you are actually there. read more

Exceedingly poor customer service. I'm writing this in the hopes that attention is brought to the fact that it was impossible to get my asthma medication here. It's a life saving medication and I came back 3 times and they claimed - they didn't hear from my doctor; they didn't have a refill on file; then they says their phones don't work. How a pharmacy operates without a working phone...beats me! But this is an issue of people being in real need of medicine for their health and there being basically no accountability for them not meeting their job requirements. I went in to pick up a prescription with my insurance card and they were being very short and rude and told me I needed to get all this other information. I was able to get ahold of this other information they were asking for and called in so I wouldn't waste my time going down there if there was a other issue. Katherine the technician helped me for about 2 minutes then hung up one me while I was asking her to run a different ID# to see if it would work. I called back and spoke to Carl who claimed to be the manager and he said he's the one who told her to hang up on me. The lack of professionalism from his place is ridiculous. I managed a medical office for years and never would of thought to treat a patient this way. read more

Worst service. Been using them for a year because it's a ton of work to transfer prescriptions...but I'm about ready to since they keep losing the digital prescriptions my provider gets confirmation of being received. It's not fair to me to have to run out of meds and it's not fair to my provider to have to send the same prescription in over and over! read more
