A lot of cats are funny about taking medication , so when an option for a compounded ointment for the ear is available, I gladly take it. The staff has always been so friendly and helpful. We have a sick kitty and have had to bounce around different vets, due to facilities being bought out and vets moving out of town. With each new vet, we've been assigned a new vet pharmacy. Without hesitation, Feel Good Compounders is the best. They are quick to respond to everything from refill requests to unusual medication inquiries. For example, we asked them recently about how long we need to keep our kitties separated after applying medicine -- because our special boy wants to lick the medicine off his sister's ear...like the little loveable weirdo he is. When my cat got sick, my vet sent the prescription to them. Suffice to say, I didn't get a say in the matter (me: inexperienced and unknowledgeable; vet: everything I'm not). Guess what! It went great! [The way the vet explained it to me: The compounder can make the drug which is normally in an unwieldy pill that must be subdivided into quarters (which is difficult), into a liquid form that we can squirt into our cats unhappy mouths. Much easier than throwing a crumbling easily spit out pill portion.] Eddie was very kind and thorough with explaining everything to me. First, he called me after receiving the prescription, to make sure I knew what was going on and to confirm the order. I had some questions about the prescription, and when he wasn't too sure why my cat was on two antibiotics (one we already received from the vet, and one he was supposed to make with the anti-nausea), he called to confirm with the vet that they wanted her on two antibiotics. Then he immediately called me back and let me know, and told me he'd have it done in 45 minutes! That was great- because my cat is so ill and I want her to feel better asap. Pro-tip: I asked Eddie about the traffic in the area, because I had to get back before a certain time, and he let me know that school lets out around 2:30, try to go before 2:30 and it's a nice easy drive. My timing just barely made it so that when I got there, it was mostly empty, but by the time I got out (because I asked Eddie so many questions), there was a bit of traffic. When I first got there, I didn't know that they aren't a vet pharmacy. (haha) Pretty sure they are a human pharmacy that also does animal prescriptions. Despite this, Eddie answered my questions to the best of his ability. I only foiled him when I asked him to recommend a probiotic for my cat. (THEN- it dawned upon me, he isn't a vet pharmacist.) But, I am still eternally grateful that he will make drugs for my cat. I almost forgot to add, he mentioned that he put in a little extra in case some got lost or didn't make their way into my cat's mouth. Good to know so I don't worry that I wasn't portioning it right when there is left over at the end of the timeframe, and also that if I miss for some reason- I still have enough drugs to complete the dosing. tl;dr- Eddie was great at answering questions, great service, fast and afaik, the drugs done good (for my cat). read more

Eddie and his staff at Feel Good get my vote for BEST customer service of just about any company I do business with! We've been getting our kitties' prescriptions from them since they opened, and from Day One the service has been prompt, friendly, accurate -- far beyond the norm. My latest experience illustrates exactly how exceptional: we moved to Petaluma 2 months ago, and since moving is totally discombobulating, recognized a bit late that we were almost out of one critical prescription. After calling our new local vet here on Wednesday and learning that it would be a week before they could get it in for us, I emailed Eddie and -- voila! -- the prescription arrived in the mail on Thursday. I received white glove service from Feelgood Compounders. I gave them a complicated compound prescription. Marjorie greeted me at the counter politely, and I was surprised to discover that she is a pharmacist. I don't think they have counter people... Only pharmacists. She looked at the prescription and noting that I lived about 20 miles away asked me if I would like the prescription shipped. It was 2 day shipping for free, or 6 dollars overnight. They wanted to call my doctor to verify a few things which I really appreciated. Eddie called me to ask some specific questions about the prescription and make sure I understood the medication. I also really appreciated that... The next day prescription arrived. It's easy to see why this fine Pharmacy has all five star reviews. I had this prescription filled at another compound pharmacy in San Mateo, and it was $876. It was $150 at Feelgood Compounders. Just amazing! Thanks again for the great service. read more

Neat little pharmacy tucked into a strip mall in Pacifica. My vet told me over the phone that they didn't have the meds I needed for my puppy, but that they would refer me here. Eddie called me no more than 15 minutes later to confirm (#efficiency). When I went to pick up, he thoroughly explained how to administer/store the meds because I was absolutely clueless. Since administering the first dose of meds didn't go as planned (did not make it into pet... like I said, clueless), I called back to get another. Eddie was very understanding of my busy schedule and shipped the meds to my home, emailing me a pro-rated invoice. I almost NEVER write reviews for anything but I received such exceptional customer service from this pharmacy (Specifically Eddie) that I had to say thank you in another way. I was having issues with getting a specific 8 mg anxiety medication for my dog from another pharmacy and only had a day's dose left. My vet referred me to Feel Good pharmacy and said that Eddie was great. I didn't realize how right she was! He was AMAZING with helping me figure out what would be right for my dog and helped me so much by calling my vet, the other pharmacy and me, back and forth to figure out what was going on while I was at work. He compounded the medication my dog needed and was so kind to even deliver it to my home that same day since I couldn't make it to his pharmacy by the time it closed at 5 pm. *Attention breast feeding mamas* As a first time mom everything in this new world is new to me. Everyone's recommended the lanolin ointment ... I tried it for some time but I didn't understand why people used it. I had no relief, it almost made the cracked Pain worse. These people CARE! They are organized, efficient, considerate and absolutely over the top helpful in every way. I have several animals we Go to them for different meds. Their staff is interested in the needs of my fur children and what works best for them. If anything is less than top quality satisfaction, they have always worked with me To find the best solutions for my pets needs, even when I was overwhelmed and did not know what to do for them and have priced meds fairly which helps myself financially be able to continue to afford to care for my critters. One time I couldn't make it before closing and Eddie put my meds outside with an ice pack for pick up after hours before the weekend when they would have been closed! It was honestly the nicest thing someone has done for my sick cat and made all the difference in their recovery process. I would never go anywhere else. Because of their attention to detail and their concern they have helped my animals thrive and made their medications easier to take and easy to get. The shop is clean and they are always on time and have the friendliest staff. Eddie and his staff are excellent. Our dog needed to be on heart medications and he was able to compound them into an easy to give liquid formulation at a fraction of the cost of the commercially available tablet form. I also had my own medications compounded from them and the quality of the suppositories was much better than what I had gotten from a different compounding pharmacy. I am so happy to finally get a compounding pharmacy in Pacifica! I work with cats and they can be difficult to medicate but Feel Good can make a lot of common medications into a flavored liquid or even a topical application which makes things SO MUCH easier. And even better, the guys who run the place (Eddie and Garland) are super knowledgeable, very nice, and get back to you really quickly if you have a question or problem (not that I ever have problems, they're too good at their job for that). If you have pets or other needs for compounded medications I highly recommend checking out Feel Good Compounders! Oh yeah and I forgot to mention that they get medications made and sent out super fast, most of the time medications can be picked up same day with short notice, and their prices are extremely reasonable. Such a wonderful compounding pharmacy! Truly, a treasure! My dog, who passed away in September of last year, developed heart issues the last couple years of her life. Giving her medications (3) was stressful for both of us, therefore kind of counterproductive given her condition. Finding a compounding pharmacy was a Godsend. Finding such a wonderful compounding pharmacy was a true miracle. A lovelier bunch of people working there would be hard to find. They always greeted me warmly, remembered me and past conversations, and were also prompt and ready with my pooch's meds. They would call and remind me when prescriptions were near refill time. I usually picked up, but they were happy to ship if I couldn't make it over the hill, and they usually arrived next day. Overall, they seemed to care about their customers, and I appreciated that immensely. I also appreciated that they helped to make the last couple years of my dogs life comfortable. Giving her a squirt, or three, of liquid medications was so easy and uneventful. My sweet little love has now crossed over the rainbow bridge and I have no need at this time to use their services, but if I ever do, I know where to go. Eddie has been really helpful and the other staff, Irene and Chiristina, are also very friendly and knowledgeable. They leave me messages when my refills are coming up, and I really need that "gentle reminder." Thank you Feel Good Compounders! My husband had jaw surgery and his mouth was wired shut and crushing antibiotic and mixing them with juice was not working! After our doctor called in the prescription I called the pharmacy to confirm. They were so nice on the phone and rushed our order in about an hour, and on the day after Thanksgiving! When I picked up the prescription the pharmacist was so compassionate and told me he checked to make sure the taste was acceptable and he even was able to reduce the volume that my husband would need to swallow. Alright, I have been reluctant to write this review because mainly the products I have received from this place have not been for me and well to be honest I didn't know how to compliment them enough. I was recommended to this place via a friend and the first time I dealt with them it was for scar gel (don't ask me to spell the name, but if you do business with them, they'll know what I'm referring to) I contacted them and was a bit surprised that they sent me out samples next day, being a small business owner myself, shipping simple things like samples can add up, so i'm sure i'm not the only client who hits them up for samples, that was a plus and well, the scar gel was for my girlfriend who had accidentally scratched some of her chicken pox thinking they were pimples. Outcome, the gel sample was enough for about a week and it worked, as in, some of the scars became less noticeable and my girlfriend was satisfied, so I ordered some. Next time around, again, not for me, but for my friend who just had a newborn baby boy. She needed some nipple ointment and I didn't know where to go to get it, but remembered, FEEL GOOD COMPOUNDERS and I shot them a call and they knew what I was talking about. Got it, my friend is using it, so I can't tell you, if it's working or not, but they got me the ointment pretty quick as well. Sum it all up, these guys (Eddie (owner) & Garland (i think he's part owner too) know what they're doing. If you need any specialized medication or prescriptions, contact these guys and they'll put you in the right direction. I don't know why, but after writing this review, I just realized, they're near a great crab sandwich spot (granted crabs are currently toxic, but hey maybe they'll have a cure for that too) I wish these guys well from a fellow small business owner! read more

As a nurse, one of the most frustrating things I see are patients who are not compliant with medications/treatment. There's always some excuse or reason why the medication doesn't work or it's not convenient, whatever. This is where compounded meds can be a lifesaver. At our practice, the doctors like to use compounded meds for our patients. And there is finally a pharmacy in the area who knows what they are doing.
