I love this CVS, every time I come in I am greeted right away. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Have had enough unpleasant situations here. Trying to avoid this location if possible. This CVS is understaffed, the present staff as well as the manager are arrogant. There used to be a couple of nice cashiers here, but I haven't seen them for a while now, I believe they are gone. I'm starting to despise CVS in general, and this one in particular. Prefer the Sherman Oaks location by BofA. read more

The pharmacy has the worst service I have ever encountered. They never have enough people working and the ones that are working have no idea what they are doing. We finally had to have a prescription transferred to a different pharmacy because they couldn't figure out how to use a coupon for medication. We waited for 3 weeks. When we transferred it to Maxson's it was processed in 5 minutes. Will never have a prescription filled at CVS again. read more

The WORST pharmacy ever!!!! Do yourself a favor and go to Walmart's or anywhere BUT CVS! They made me wait over an hour for 4 pills!!!! The CVS up in Wa I used to go to just as bad. Not enough staff, don't care about customer service at all. Terrible! read more

I love having the convenience of a drive through pharmacy near to my house but twice now I've pulled up to the window only to be told no prescription for me exists. When I call my doctor's office they say they HAVE called it in and that they get this complaint about this CVS frequently from other patients. read more

I went to this CVS Pharmacy because my usual CVS Pharmacy in Sherman Oaks did not carry the medicine I was prescribed by my dentist. Not only did the CVS Pharmacy on Van Nuys Blvd. have the medicine I needed in stock, they got me in and out in under 15 minutes. The Pharmacist and her staff were very attentive to my every need and I have never been treated so kindly and professionally as I was treated here. I walked in on Sat. July 18 at 730 pm. Instantly, I was greeted and asked if I needed any help. A very nice woman helped me find a pill organizer. I wish I remembered her name. And Andrew at the cash register was very nice and helpful as well. read more

Over the past few years I have become a CVS regular thanks to their coupon discounts and the idea of a one stop shop. I spend about 100 dollars a month at CVS on everything from beauty products, to household items, and even food! I visited this particular CVS two weeks ago with a 30% off coupon. At checkout, I found out that coupon had expired the day before. I figured it wouldn't be a problem because in the past, a manager has always accommodated me (usually after looking into my rewards card details). I have worked in retail and understand that people will come in with coupons from 3 months ago or try and return used items, and I believe it is reasonable to turn those people away. But as a manager you have the power to provide top customer service to those who frequently provide you business. I have been extremely patient at this particular location. I have never let the long lines and subpar sales employees deter me from shopping there. But when I asked the manager, (a familiar face given I am in there so frequently), if he could honor the coupon he explained that "their policies had changed in the past week" and they could no longer do so. Unfortunately his decision to not accommodate me has lost this location my business. I have always had better luck at the one on Ventura Blvd. They have a better selection and a friendlier staff. Try that one instead. read more

Soooooooo bad. The employees do not care... They'll make you wait while the talk infront of you about personal issues. This is now my second time here and it has been the worst experience for both times... I'm writing this standing in line for pickup during my 3rd time, I've been standing in line now for pickup for just over 30 mins... Just horrible. read more

CVS sucks at hiring people, although it is obvious they NEED staff.. The managers are unprofessional and have a poor vague attitude and state of mind towards interested applicants. They are NOT an equal opportunity employer and I rather work where my skills are appreciated and NOT looked down upon like they made me feel at this location. I was told that I may not be a great fit due to my work history of having a few jobs in my past and instead of just 1 or 2 in my late 30s. I was told although I had open schedule and availability including extensive experience in the customer field, the Manager Nambil told me they'll think about it. Instead after nearly a couple weeks of no response I called but no response yet again, so I found employment elsewhere that is truly appreciative of their future applicants. The CVS Manager is never there to assist or does he handle business in a orderly fashion. I'm upset because their Corporate Offices is useless and do not care to assist me and told me there was nothing they can do and I think that is total crap. So I said I wouldn't dare want to work for a company such as this one, and I refuse to ever shop here again. Thanks, but NO thanks!!! read more

The worst attitudes ever. Everyone that works in the pharmacy department has a huge attitude. I was getting something filled and a women said it would be ready after 2, so I came at 4 and it wasn't. It was fine but when I tried to ask another question 2 of them ganged up on me before I could even finish my question. I realize you may be busy but I can ask a question that concerned my health of I want to. Just go to Ralph's pharmacy across the street.. They are faster, nicer, and more helpful! read more

This, like all CVS stores is always understocked and understaffed. The only reason I go to CVS stores is because of the discounts they send me by email. I'm always hopeful that they will have what I want, but I enter the store prepared to leave and go someplace else, or compromise. I think a drastic elimination of all CVS managers is needed, and change the CEO. Get some independent company to come in and fix everything that is wrong. Can't say much better for Walgreens. read more

Maybe the bad reviews are from idiots who don't know jack about their own insurance. Have you seen the morons who frequent this place? I would hate to work there dealing with uneducated idiots who expect their drugs like fiends. The arguments over co pay are ridiculous and a waste of my time when I pick up any prescription. Pharmacy and staff are amazing and always give me top notch service....Front of store is a customer service nightmare.. i went to drop some film rolls off(yeah, i know who has film??). after standing waiting at the counter patientlywaiting, not even a "i'll be with you in a min", did not even notice i had to go behind the counter myself and grab forms to fill out, asked for more since i could only find 2 forms.. still never got help, guy told me to "just leave them there". he meant the cluttered counter with papers???!!, sio i did after i did all the work i went to the friendly pharmacy staff, when i was done a the pharmacy, my 6 rolls of film were still sitting there. I had to tell the clerk "can you please move them behind the counter so you don't lose my rolls of film, i really don;t like them just sitting there." he said he would... well crossing my fingers i see those pictures. Sorry pharmacy staff the rest of the store ruined what could've been a good rating, but i cannot in good conscious recommend anyone to shop here for anything else read more

Today I tried dropping an rx again but they we're out of stock. I told him - that's fine, it can wait. He told me no - you have to come back this week. I said no - his always happens with this rx and they refused to accept it. This is after he yelled to a fellow pharmacist the name of my prescription - private and personal information which suggested my medical issue in front of everyone. Unacceptable. read more

WORST pharmacy. I went in today to ask the pharmacist about an over the counter cold medicine my doctor said I could take while pregnant. However I couldn't find the specific type she recommended so I waited in line to ask a question. A young woman at the cash register told me she would have to ask the pharmacist - in front of me she asked the pharmacist who was exceptionally rude and said she "can't take that!?" And stormed away. The young lady then returned and said the pharmacist would speak to me directly. I continued to wait while the pharmacist kept helping other customers - at drive thru and elsewhere. The young woman passed by and asked if she had gotten back to me and I said no. She then approached the pharmacist who then stomped over and curtly said "yes? I heard you had a question regarding sudafed and you're pregnant?" I said Yes and began to repeat my question - which she clearly already knew since she had heard it from the young woman that had asked her earlier in front of me. She cut me off with a "you can't take that." End of discussion. Although my doctor had recommended and I had researched it on online medical boards regarding pregnant and medication - which also said it was ok for a pregnant woman to take - this pharmacist clearly thought her lack of medical degree qualified her to be condescending and not even - as she obviously disagreed- suggest an alternative. I was always dealing with my 13 month-old who was having a bit of a fit - because he's 13 months-old - and she glared at him the entire time. Completely unprofessional. She could have handled so much better. I took my son home and called the store and spoke to a manager who apologized - and then transferred me to the pharmacist to ask her the same question without letting her know that I had called in?!?! How was this supposed to solve her bad attitude and resolve the situation. I was informed by the person who answered the phone that she would have to get the pharmacist on the phone. None of them had been talked to by the manager prior to him transferring the call. What was the point?!? This is my neighborhood pharmacy so it's very unfortunate that I will not have to drive out of the way to go to another store from now on. read more
