This is by far, the WORST Pharmacy I have ever been to. On four separate occasions I have had issues getting prescriptions filled. I once went back three times to speak with the pharmacist who was always "busy." It was a controlled substance; one person said it was illegal to fill, another said she could do it if she called my doctor. No one knows what's going on. The pharmacist in Studio City was so helpful and she explained to me exactly what the law was, and apologized for my inconvenience. This location, nada. TODAY, I had another odyssey. An olive-skinned gentleman behind the pharmacy told me "I had no health insurance," which is news to me since I'm paying upwards of $450 a month for COBRA. The insurance is through... CVS CAREMARK. He asked for my prescription card which I didn't have on me, but it shouldn't have mattered because it was the same insurance policy. He refused to call the company on my behalf, and said "well just come back when you can find your prescription card." Complete B.S. DO NOT go to this CVS. Ugh. I hate writing reviews for gigantic chains. However, this is warranted. Take heed from the reviews below; this is a terrible pharmacy! Having worked in a CVS pharmacy as a clerk, I know how it works. For that matter, I've worked in two different pharmacies in the past...I doubly know! This CVS has got it all wrong. Round 1: "Thank you for calling CVS pharmacy, can you hold please." *beep* Me: "um...hello?" This happened 3 times, each time I waited about 15 minutes for the clerk to pick up. Finally, I called and spoke with the store manager on duty. I kindly asked him to walk to the back and let the clerk know I would not like to hold, and to please pick up the line. He seemed appalled, and said he'd get the pharmacist. 3 minutes later, I hear, "Thank you for calling CVS pharmacy, can you hold please." *beep* FML... Round 2: My husband goes to pick up my prescription. They tell him, "you have to sign this to take it." He signs, and then takes it. Turns out, he was signing the waiver for a pharmacist consult. Real nice. Round 3: I don't know why I took another prescription there. (It's very close by.) My prescription needed a prior authorization from the insurance company. Standard fare. I let my doctor's office know, and they were on the ball. CVS, however, couldn't get it figured out by 2 weeks later. Story's end? I took my prescription to Walgreen's and had it filled within 10 minutes. Just....stay away.... read more

Dear CVS pharmacy, please hire more staff. Every single time I come here I get the same standard response of "Sorry we only have two people and the others are on lunch". It doesn't matter what time. I've tried noon, 2pm, 3pm.... Someone is always on lunch and I get this response as a reason for it taking 1-2 hours to fill a simple tube cream prescription that doesn't require much, other than running it through the system. This is why I remember going to Walgreens or a mom and pop pharmacy instead. read more

Worst pharmacy I've EVER dealt with. They take down information incorrectly, promise prompt service and don't deliver. I literally had to stand at the counter and watch the pharmacist do what she should have done in the time promised. They said they would have a refill rushed and done for me in 1 hour. They ran into an issue and rather than call me to get it done, I had to call. When I called to find out what was going on with the refill, I sat on hold for 20 minutes to find out there was an insurance issue (which I fixed by calling the insurance and the pharmacy was using the wrong RX id). I'm sorry isn't this what you do for a living??? I came to get the refill an hour and a half AFTER they said it would be ready, and it wasn't. I then got a sob story about how busy she is and she's got stuff coming in and out...not professional. read more

Newest CVS in the area. Just opened a few months ago. Still has that new, clean feeling. It's not usually busy although they have a somewhat different setup at the front checkout which took me a moment to find on my first try. They had some really good food/snack markdowns. Super cheap stuff I got to stock up for when at work. read more

I've been in line for 40 minutes in the drive-thru (only 4 cars were in front of me when I got here). I've been using this pharmacy for awhile and I just can't take it anymore. The wait time at this location is inexcusable. If someone is taking a COVID test, have them drive around. I'm just trying to pick up a prescription but I'm stuck in this ridiculous line as 5 people in a mini van sit in front of me for 20 minutes swabbing their noses and dancing to the radio. Have. Them. The pharmacy is short staffed and can't keep up with customers and fill prescriptions in a timely manner. Not only was the manager not helpful when customers let him know the pharmacist needed help, he was abrupt and rude to the pharmacist. There were only 5 people in line and we all had waited over 25 minutes to try to get help. The manager said he was too busy with other customers to help at the register. The rest of the store was empty and we were told that the manager was sitting in his office. 2 of us finally walked out. This is my neighborhood CVS, and I've tried several times to use the pharmacy and it's been this way almost every time. I'm not even talking about filling prescriptions, this is just if I need something from behind the counter. Sorry to say I will NEVER be going back. If there was an option to give ZERO stars, that's what I'd do in this case for CVS pharmacy customer service. Horrible x100! I had to contact my insurance company to have them call CVS because the person I spoke with (Diana or Diane - that's the name she gave me) had zero customer service skills. Rude. Even the insurance lady told me that she was not very nice when she spoke with her on my behalf. They just don't know how to run these medications through insurance and/or just plain LAZY. Management needs to do something about this because I am apparently not the only one complaining about them. Called Walgreens to transfer all my prescriptions over. read more

If I could star them 0 I would . This pharmacy is a joke .Calling from a physicians office to put in a prescription, was holding for 30 minutes just for a fax number. Then the 2nd call they pick up and asked me to hold for another 20 minutes, I'm guessing they forgot they had a call on hold , therefore I had to hang up and call again.After I got on the phone after 4 or 5 calls the person who I spoke to was so lost and didn't have any prescriptions. The worst pharmacy I have ever been, not one star, minus five star!!! Rude and unfriendly staff. My medicine order/ transfer was messed up. I was yelled at when I wanted to explain the list of the medicines to be transferred and was disrespectfully treated. When I asked a question, the answer was not even related to my question, obviously the person didn't even cared to listen, and she also expressed frustration to answer a question, she said in an unfriendly vice, OMG. The staff needs serious training on customer service skills, and in general conversation on how to work with and how to treat people. Being rude, ignorant and disrespectful is not the way to go, you get paid for what you do, and you should do your job properly. read more

Sadly, I am un impressed. I live nearby, and at first I was pretty happy to have a nice new CVS close-by. The reality has been pretty disappointed. There is a line to check out literally EVERY SINGLE TIME I have been there - usually 2 to 5 people and it always seems to move slow. Weird. What finally motivated me to write a review was my most recent experience with their "1-hour-photo". I ordered a print online and went to CVS about 2 hours later. After I waited through the line at the cashier, I was informed that their one photo printer "has been down for a while". No apology. No idea when it would be ready. ONE MONTH LATER, I received a voicemail that my photo was ready for pick-up! lol One Positive note (hence the 2 stars) is that the employees are very friendly. This is my local CVS. They've always been prompt, courteous and professional. I've never had to wait more than 20 minutes to have a prescription filled, and they are clean and well stocked. If you're looking for a pharmacy, this one is as good as any. read more

On Saturday I went to pick up my son's prescription. This is one he's been on for over a year. The female pharmacist working that day, decided that she isn't going to fill the prescription since there are some interactions with other meds. I tried to explain to her that he doesn't take all the meds on this file and she still refused to fill the prescription. After a short argument with her she said that she needed to speak to his doctor. I called my son's doctor who is on vacation, so the on-call doctor spoke to this horrible woman. She then told me that she didn't like what the doctor said and she would fill this one time BUT, not today. I would have to return Sunday to get it because suddenly it was too early to pick this up. She also informed me that it could not be filled there again without speaking to my son's actual GP. I don't know why this woman decided that she knows my son's extensive medical history better than his own doctors. And I really don't think it's any of her business. I'm not done complaining about her yet. This is a starting point. I would leave a negative 50 stars if I could. read more

First of all, it is almost impossible to get a hold of anyone in the pharmacy. I have sat on hold multiple times in a row, hanging up after nearly 7 minutes. I had to call the regular store and have them get someone to the phone. When someone from the pharmacy finally picked up, she was horrendously rude, claiming that they are very busy! Too busy to ever answer the phone? I work full time too, in a vey busy job, which is why I don't have to time to wait on hold forever multiple times. I will never use this pharmacy again! read more

The absolute worst pharmacy..... I only have been coming here because it's close to my Dr. but no more! They should be shut down! I've experienced everything from them giving me the wrong dropper for my child (ending up in me overdosing him) to being given the wrong medication to them telling me my med will be ready in 15 min and when I return in 15 min, they tell me it will be another 15 min. Horrible pharmacy, even by CVS standards. Tried to call to see if a prescription was ready, the phones were down for hours! Would get the annoying CVS voice mail, then would hang up on me. Tried for HOURS. I assume my doctor could not get through also. Only reason I went there was because Super Rite was sold and this pharmacy bought out my prescription. I filed a complaint with the CA. Called around to find a location that carried Norco for my husband's Rx after getting his wisdom teeth taken out. None of them carry it, but pharmacy employee said to bring in Rx and they would order it. Brought it in on a Monday early evening, was told it would take a couple days... no word a week later so i called and the employee said it was never ordered and she couldn't help me to call back when manager is there... REALLY ?? unbelievable! Needless to say, it's now been 3 days since that call and still no med... NOW HE DOESN'T NEED THEM! They are understaffed, unreliable, unprofessional, uncaring and every other un word you could think of. read more

I was so excited to have a CVS Pharmacy in my neighborhood. I moved my prescriptions from a CVS in Santa Monica closer to where I work. I have been very disappointed with this location. Needs more staff. Lines are long and there's only 1-2 person staffed. I was charged .10 for bags but had to wait 5min for bag. The 5min may not seem long but you charged me for the bags why does the manager have to go get it ? When I was about to leave because I couldn't keep waiting on the side for a .10 bag. The employee at the counter says oh he's coming right now sorry it's just that I got called in to cover. Sorry, but how is this my problem. Another reason you may need more staff or use your staff more appropriately is because the trash outside in the parking lot is insane. Plus the trash-can near the side of the building is beyond overflowing. Not appealing. People throw their receipts on the ground (although they shouldn't) because the trash can is gross and hidden not at the entrance where someone can see if once they leave. Other than the above the staff is nice and always greet me when I walk in and when I'm dealing with them. They are knowledgeable on products. This location is fairly new but the staff on the floor of usually helpful and have answered all of my questions. The only thing I'd they are so limited on coverage that you have to go find someone. Which isn't too bad considering the size of the site isn't giant. They are courtesy and helpful but you have to know where they are first. read more

Customer service here drops the rating for me. As a store, they have what I need but if I need help from a worker I can expect to be disappointed. On several occasions I have been puzzled why these people are so resistant to good customer service. It may be that CVS doesn't value its customers enough to encourage their employees to be "inviting"...maybe that's why I can't wait to leave.
