About 10 minutes later, they came back and said they didn't actually have a basic medication in stock because they had mixed up the brands when checking the shelf. That is concerning on its own, but the lack of communication made it even worse. Instead of confirming availability before having me wait, I was told I would need to drive all the way back once they decide to stock it again. At this point, it seems smarter to transfer the prescription somewhere more organized and professional. But the real cherry on top is that my pharmacy I would normally use won't even try a normal prescription transfer with this location, they state that it's impossible to get ahold of anyone here so I have to have my doctor in a whole new prescription. This place is a sad joke.

Mike was great, giviing me all the info on how the new machine works while having me sign more paperwork for the machine than I had to sign when I bought my house. He's a sincere and friendly guy, and this must be at least the 4th time I've worked with him (I tend to need upgrades to more effective CPAP machines), Mike's great at giving comprehensive info about the machine and all that goes with it, including the legal stuff. And being an RT, he was able to clearly explain how an ASV machine is different from CPAPs and BIPAPs and would I could expect. So, yeah, I'm awarding this Rotech office 5 stars because from Mike calling me when the office first received the new machine order, calling to notify me the machine was in and to set up the pick-up appointment, answering questions in the office and on the phone, AND sending a text notifying me when I'll get a follow up phone call is what I expect of 5-star customer service. And to add to it all, Mike even reminded me to contact my CPAP supplies provider to update their records with my new machine since ASVs use a different hose, water tank and replaceable filter than the BIPAP machine I had. That will prevent them the company from shipping me the wrong replacement parts. This proves to me that my less than satisfactory experience last time was an isolated lapse.

The respiratory therapist came out and brought my equipment to me but I had very little instruction on how to use it. He told me the oxygen tank would last for about 5 hours. I sleep more than 5 hours. He said I would need to call 911 if I ran out. This made no sense to me at all. Later I realized the oxygen tank was a *back up* in case the power went out not for nightly use. Because I had little instruction, I thought the heavy machine was to fill the oxygen tank. The machine they gave me is HEAVY and LOUD and makes a loud BEEEEEEP when I turn it on. Even worse is that it was sticky and not very clean. It's MEDICAL EQUIPMENT! It should be clean!! We figured out how to use it but I still don't know how often I'm supposed to swap out the tubes. In addition, I cannot take this heavy beast with me and I have a trip later this summer. When I called to see what my options are, since I clearly cannot fly with this big machine, I was told they cannot get me a portable machine. This makes no sense at all. I cannot be the first person to need a portable machine. The office staff doesn't seem to be trained or have much more knowledge than I do about this stuff. Ridiculous! In addition, I still have not been provided with any information about how much I will be paying for the equipment I currently have. So frustrating!

I should have known it would initiate a comedy of errors that would make me relearn the forgotten decade-old lesson. One item from my online order didn't fit, so I decided to return it at the nearest store, which is in another county. I prepared myself for the trek by making a shopping list of jeans to try on, confirming on their website that all were in stock at the store (jeans are something you really need to try on, buying them blindly is a gamble). All plans were thwarted when I entered the Silverdale store. It would be my last visit to any Kohl's; read on. The return went fine, other than their deducting $8 from the refund of the $35 item. I understood it was because I received Kohl's cash to spend, and that's fine. So let's go shopping! I was unable to locate any of the items on my shopping list. Since I neglected to pack snacks and a compass, I asked for help. The lady from the register made an effort to look around, but said she didn't recognize any of the items, and they never stocked them. Bait & switch, eh? Strike one, Kohl's. Determined to make the journey count, I searched for some jeans to try on. Leafing through a bizarre size distribution of XS to XL with squat in between, I found 3 whole pair that might remotely fit. But rut-roh, the fitting room was closed! Turns out nothing fit right anyway, so I saved myself another two hour round trip. Fed up with the store, I went home to find something random online so I wouldn't lose my $25 Kohl's cash. Logging in, I found a cruel surprise - $12 Kohl's cash had vanished, along with my patience. In a last ditch effort, I found a $12 clearance tank top to spend my remaining consolation prize and be done with it. Then the free shipping coupon errored out, "try again later." Not in the mood to spend $8 shipping on sheer principal of getting my money's worth of random crap I don't need, I tapped out, down my original $25 coupon + $8 shorted on the refund. Yeah, I know, the house always wins. Strike three and Kohl's is out. It's no wonder the store was deserted. Limited selection, employees on permanent coffee break and pitfall policies. Silverdale Kohl's would better serve the community as a big, stupid, empty monument to apathy, which it probably will be before long. Buh-bye.

We entered in from the mall side and did a super quick loop as I kept looking back at her to let her know I noticed what she is doing. I never let his hand go. I somehow got lost as I was trying to get her off my tracks and asked a worker how to get back to the mall side which she was super helpful. Sadly I didn't get anything as I was really looking forward to specifically shopping here. Unsure if she was a floor walker or a kidnapper but I did not feel safe at all. We bounced so quick out of there. Way to scare away a potential customer if you were an obvious floor walker!
