Unlike another pharmacy that I went to (don't remember the name now but it wasn't a chain). Allegedly, it's long lasting relief. That's what it says on the label. Nope. My eyes felt dry within minutes. I should have bought two bottles instead of one. Southern California is ridiculously dry, windy, and dusty. Even close to the ocean, SoCal is too dry. This is the wet winter season in Northern California, and it never gets so dry near the ocean in the summer in NorCal because of the thick cloud cover from the marine layer. Just not used to this level of dry.

I came in for a walk-in COVID shot in the afternoon and they advised me that all appointments were taken but if I cashed back in evening, they might have one from a cancellation. If they draw the become from the vial, they have to use it in a certain timeframe and if it doesn't get used, they have to throw it out. When I called later in the evening they luckily had a cancellation to and within five minutes I ran over for the shot and flu shot also. Rite Aid Camarillo is located in the Camarillo Village Square shopping center on Los Posas Road next to Sprouts and Planet Fitness. They have been my pharmacy for over 20 years and they have been absolutely great for all my prescriptions. The pharmacists and associates have always been very friendly and helpful, particularly with explaining how to take new medications. And whenever there's a problem with a prescription it just takes minutes to get it resolved. And it's also my go-to place to get vaccinations. Unfortunately, the store part of Rite Aid is a very different story. While there been some improvements since they emerged from Chapter 11 in September 2024 they are still frequently out of stock of many items. Basically, unless I'm at a nearby store or at Rite Aid for another reason I don't shop there. However, if I do see something I want or need in stock I will buy it since their prices are normally pretty good. Finally, I have loved Thrifty ice cream since I was a little kid. I particularly love their Chocolate Malted Krunch ice cream. And while their ice cream is normally for takeout they do have two small tables if you want to eat it there. In sum, I highly recommend Rite Aid Camarillo for their pharmacy and ice cream but suggest to only shop there for other items if you're already there or nearby.

When you walk here, they do not acknowledge you. They do not greet you. They are just nasty like if they'll get to you when they get to you. I was sad to find out the truth for the long time I've been with Plaza Pharmacy. I was treated with respect I was made aware of any changes and my meds always came on time delivered every time I walked in into the pharmacy. I see nothing but smiles, happy and wonderful attitude from the top of the chart after going through different pharmacies Plaza Pharmacy is the one that I felt very comfortable because I was treated like a human not like a Customer I was treated like a friend.

Over this last year I've been here at least 5 times and more often than not I've left impressed. I would definitely come to this Walmart over my location city Walmart. The one in my city is really challenging to park in as the lot is always super busy and they are short staffed. Not at this newbury park location though! My biggest pro of this store is they seem to always have multiple registers open. I am so grateful for this. If they are busy they are busy but it feels a lot better seeing 3-4 registers open most times I come compared to 1-2 at my local store. I also appreciate this store as it's pretty clean and organized. I can often times find staff stocking and in the isles if needed. Also as I mentioned above, good parking! The reason I docked a star is primarily because of quality of some items and quantity. Their meat department isn't my favorite nor their deli. Again, I'm a little picky with groceries so that's why this isn't my regular weekly go to spot. But I'm happy that when I'm in a pinch or need a few items, I can count on this store to have what I need and to be able to get in and out of here without hassle.
