Unlike another pharmacy that I went to (don't remember the name now but it wasn't a chain). Allegedly, it's long lasting relief. That's what it says on the label. Nope. My eyes felt dry within minutes. I should have bought two bottles instead of one. Southern California is ridiculously dry, windy, and dusty. Even close to the ocean, SoCal is too dry. This is the wet winter season in Northern California, and it never gets so dry near the ocean in the summer in NorCal because of the thick cloud cover from the marine layer. Just not used to this level of dry.

Staff member quickly greeted me and I was in and out with my photos within literally a minute or two. Even though I just popped in quickly, the store looked really clean and organized. I didn't look at the photos until I got home and one of them looks like the contrast was off but the other looked fine. So I would just recommend to look at your prints before you head out ;)

I was sad to find out the truth for the long time I've been with Plaza Pharmacy. I was treated with respect I was made aware of any changes and my meds always came on time delivered every time I walked in into the pharmacy. I see nothing but smiles, happy and wonderful attitude from the top of the chart after going through different pharmacies Plaza Pharmacy is the one that I felt very comfortable because I was treated like a human not like a Customer I was treated like a friend.

I think their pharmacists are knowledgeable and friendly enough. I'd say they're more on the side of "professional" than aloof. The cashiers and technicians could act a little happier to see us but it's not a big deal to me. Thing is, pharmacies are in an awkward position. They're privy to our medical conditions, some of which can be embarrassing. So I'm glad they act like they don't know me lol. One thing I like is that the status of all my prescriptions are online either through a browser or in an app. This is helpful because it will tell me how many refills are available, and which need the doctor to renew. I can order my refills via the app which is great. I like to patronize the locals. I tried Medicine Shoppe but omg I have to phone in my refills and they're not open at convenient times. Business hours only. Closed weekends. Sigh. They just made it too hard for me. But back to Walmart... I openly admit, for me, the less human contact for something as mundane as filling a prescription, the better. So I'm digging the apps. When a refill is due, they text me with a link to easily see my prescriptions, or to reply to the text with "yes" or "no". When it's filled, I get a new text that it's ready. Bam all that without needing to call anybody. So they usually have what I'm trying to get, in stock. When they don't, they order it and it's there in a day or two. As for lines... that's the most unfair thing I've read here. I think the reviewers were referring to the store's lines, not the pharmacy. I can count on one finger the number of times I've had to wait more than 5 minutes from the time I go in there, to the time I'm leaving the store. Let's not forget about the $4 generics for 30 day's supply and $10 for 90 day's. If you don't have insurance or have a high deductible, these make many meds affordable. Let's also not forget that the trip to the pharmacy can be combined with grocery shopping. This isn't a monster Walmart, it's a "neighborhood market"; much smaller than a big Walmart with huge inventories. Some of their in-stock items are surprising. They have a large Asian section, carry goats milk, have delicious rotisserie chicken, very fresh okra, just to name a few. To sum it up, I don't plan to switch to a different pharmacy any time soon. :-)

I asked if I could be helped at self-checkout and was told I had to use the main checkout lane. I then went to the exchange/returns counter to see if they could assist, but was again told no and directed back to the same long line. This was confusing, especially since I've been helped at both self-checkout and the exchange counter in the past. I understand that there are policies in place, but the current setup doesn't seem efficient or customer-focused. It would make more sense to allocate staff where they're most needed, especially during busy times, to better serve customers and reduce long wait times. Because of this experience, it honestly feels more convenient to shop online rather than deal with in-store inefficiencies.
