DO NOT COME Here! I had an emergency this morning and had to take my kid to urgent care. Unfortunately my usual pharmacy is closed today, so the doctor at urgent care just sent it to the place closest to me. I hate going here. Urgent care said they would call me when the medication was ready, nope this place did not call. So I call them and get transferred through their phone tree stating my son's meds are ready. When I get there, there are 3 ppl working. They all look at me as if I am the weird one. One guy goes: oh we are closed until 2 for lunch. Wtf. What pharmacy closes until 2?! So now my son has been waiting since 8 am for his medication because they did NOT call to tell me was ready. And, now I have to come back 30 minutes later because they are out for lunch. If I could give 0 for this pharmacy I would. My fiancé came into get his medication early morning and lines were already long. The person who helped in front didn't even offer to have a pharmacist go over instructions for his medication and also did not even try to figure out why his insurance did not cover his medication. The first thought that came to my head were the elderly who pick up their medication that may need extra assistance on how to take their medications and any insurance issues. I get that they may be short staffed but please do something about that. We did end up calling to get further instructions on medication and an explanation of why insurance wasn't used to help pay for meds but this should have been done right from the get go. We we will not be returning to this pharmacy. read more

This is a review for my interaction w/the person who answered the phone here. I called to ask how much they would charge to inflate my own balloons w/their helium. The girl was incredibly rude on the phone and had such a nasty attitude, "WE DON'T DO THAT HERE. WE ONLY FILL UP OUR OWN BALLOONS". I was like, "sooo, even if I bring my own balloons, and pay, you won't fill them up?" she's like, "NO!". Someone please give this girl some customer service skills. read more

Unfavorable- I purchased a gift card here back in August for a gift. I was notified that they could use card because some of the numbers in center of card were not legible-so with receipt etc I went back to store, manager told me to call 800 number to resolve. I called and I'm still calling. Poor customer service right hand doesn't know what left hand is doing. They have a complaint company that takes report and STILL no results. Some of the staff here are polite, but unfortunately, others completely ruined the experience for me. A few were rude, unprofessional, and clearly uninterested in helping. When I called, they sounded distracted, talking to coworkers about personal plans and even cursing in the background instead of focusing on customers. The only reason I ended up here in the first place was because Rite Aid closed and my prescriptions were transferred over. I definitely won't be returning to this location. read more

This is a CVS in Tracy Ca. Friendly employees but the pharmacy is greatly lacking personnel. There's always 7-20 people in line to pick up their prescription. It goes so slowly due to a lack of people working. I hate getting my scrips here, but I'm required to by my insurance. Also, my scrips have been filled wrong on two occasions: once with the wrong amount and once with the wrong medication. Hmmm. I have no other comments. read more

Just to make it clear, this review is for the store in general and NOT the pharmacy. After reading other reviews, seems like the pharmacy at this location can use some changes. I've been to this location several times when I'm in the area. I've honestly have not had a problem shopping here at least 10 times in the past 5 months. The shelves always seem stocked, the "on sale / promotional" items are usually tagged. There's always a clerk at the register in case you dont want to deal with the self check station. Store seems well organized and it's pretty easy to find what you're looking for. There's also plenty of room between the isles so even when it's busy, it doesnt seem that crowded. Outside of the store, the area and parking lot seem safe. Only problem I see is that they're closed by 10pm. Which sucks if you're planning on going on a last minute alcohol run. Where I'm from, there's a CVS that's open 24 hours that's about 2 miles from where I live & I'm usually hitting it up around midnight or 1am for 1 last beer run. read more

I went to drop off a script for birth control and notified them I didn't have insurance. I asked for an estimate it would be for the supply of birth control Ordered (6 months/packs) the one person said $56. I arrived to pick it up and a different person only had one pack in hand and told me it was $64. I was shocked for birth control pills. I said I never paid that much. I said "don't you have some kind of discount card." To which she replied, "oh you want me to apply our discount card? Now it's $36. I said no thanks. I went to rite-aid and somehow I got a 3 month supply for $37 with good rx coupon. The sales clerk at rite aid was immediately trying to find a discount code for the sale and told me mine was better. She was fast and personable who had my meds out in 3 minutes. I'm not saying this is a CVS problem, I think it's a location problem. The people here don't really care about helping people understand the best financial way to obtain services. It's like there's some secret scam and they don't want you to know about any coupons or discount cards. read more

Placed my order for a required prescription 2 weeks ago. Was told it couldn't be filled until today. Called this am and was told it wouldn't be ready until 9 pm (!). At this point, I'm on my LAST pill, need to take another between 2:00 and 3:00. Was finally able to speak to a live person and they said they would try to move it up to 3:00. Got a notice that it was ready a little before 3:00. Notice says that if I pre-pay, it will save time. What they don't tell you is there isn't a separate line for those who pre-pay. So here I am standing in line. Six people in front of me. That's not saving me any time. It's now 4:01. Not cool. read more

My wife was four days away from running out of an important medication and we were leaving for a ten-night road trip in two days. It wasn't a med they kept readily on hand and needed to bring it in. I spoke personally to the pharmacy assistants, and the pharmacist, and they knew the importance of communicating the status. They delivered, the meds came in, they made sure it was immediately processed, they called my wife, not just a text message, and I was able to pick it up. The pharmacy team exemplified customer service, they treated my wife as the most important person, even though we all know they process hundreds a day. They are worth the highest rating I can give. And they always give us great service, so this really wasn't a one-off occasion. read more

Good experience coming in for some odds and ends. The line at the register is particularly good - set up like Frys - single file. Never used the pharmacy. Shared strip mall with Safeway, a fast food spot and an empty building that used to be Orchard Supply is this CVS. Inside has been renovated and everything looks good. Some good deals and sales - but like all CVS what you really want will be out of stock. "Everyday low price" strategies of Walmart or Costco I prefer without the phone tracking and extensive sales and coupons. What I liked best about this store was the line at the register. There was a sign with what appeared to be a buzzer in case the cashier isn't there and restocking. Not sure of this as I didn't use it or look super closely. Furthermore, it also appeared that when there is more than one register open people line up in one line first. we visit this cvs location frequently and majority of the employees are hostile and unwelcoming. the overall vibe of this store is that everyone hates their jobs and they project that onto customers. my biggest complaint about this location is that their closing hours are never aligned with what's advertised online or on their doors and they close any time they choose to, seemingly every day is different. this makes it incredibly frustrating and inconvenient to try to plan for your shopping needs. every time we go it's a gamble on whether or not they'll be open. and we're not the only ones confused. every time it happens to us we see multiple customers before us and after us trying to go in and wondering why they're closed early. lots of empty shelves and hardly any customers. it's a wonder how this location is still open. read more

It's interesting that the leading pharmacy in the country prints more coupons than the size of your receipt. I went in with a coupon available on their site and I was told they can accept it ONLy if it is printed. They can't scan the bar code!! This is one place making customers unhappy by refusing to use available technology in premise. What a shame. read more

I'm kind of surprised to see such low ratings for this CVS. I've been able to use coupons without printing them by logging in on my phone. I have the rewards, which has already given me some discounts. My only complaint is that they're not very good at keeping their signage updated for their operating hours. Luckily it hasn't affected me yet, though. And the pharmacy isn't perfect, but I'd say they've done a pretty good job for me. Their notification system is really good. They tell you via text when your Rx is ready and how long it's available for - so you can plan your trips accordingly. Just remember to tell them when your info changes, or they might accidentally charge you the wrong price. The service in the pharmacy isn't always consistent, but usually it's pretty good. I do think the pharmacy team works hard, and I've even seen them consult each other to get the right information for me. I have a lot of respect for people who are willing to admit that they don't know something, and are willing to help you figure it out. read more

I would give a zero if I could. I have been going to them for 15 years and it has only gotten worse. They act like they have never seen me before. I get pain medication and every single month there is se type of problem with filling it. I have had to go without meds on multiple occasions because of them. They are also unbelievably busy. The ine is usually at least 5 to 10 people long and it takes 30 min on the phone to submit a refill. Basically go somewhere else read more

Hi, there. This is to call attention to a CVS policy that should change. No flame intended. I bought a simple device (think "brace" or the like), discovered at home it was the wrong size, and returned it within 30 minutes in as-bought condition. The cash-register receipt was illegible, and could not be scanned to process a debit-card chargeback. Instead, a gift card would be issued as though merchandise had been returned with no receipt. A trip home was needed to get acceptable ID. Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash. This can be done differently. The manager should have authority to process in-kind refunds, when the authenticity of the original purchase is not in question. Also, managers should be instructed to keep register receipts legible, by swapping ink cartridges when needed. CVS, the left-most register, if one stands facing the parking lot, currently has a legibility problem. Maybe someone at CVS will read this. I would like to say, "CVS is responsive, and I look forward to shopping there again." I would be glad to raise the star rating. read more

The filipino lady who works in the pharmacy department is rude. Always has been. Always gave attitude or made rude remarks to other customers and me. I used to go to this pharmacy just for convenience. But this time, after arguing with me about about my meds, and then finally saying that it can be filled the next day, she filled two different medications instead, one that I discontinued using months ago. Of course, she was rude to the person picking up my meds for me. He told me she huffed, threw the meds in a bag, tossed it on the counter, and sounded pissy when ringing him up. Then I was on hold for 14 minutes, a guy put me on hold. I called with a different cell phone to see how long that would take. They took the call right away. Renee, the lady I spoked too on the phone, apologized, agreed to let me return the medication, and sent the one I needed to a different pharmacy closer to where I'm currently at. 2 stars only because Renee was making it right. But I don't think I'll be coming back after I return my medication. read more

I was never notified that they are not accepting returns due to covid 19 despite the fact that I asked upon purchasing spending over 200 dollars. And simply told that they have flyers on the entrance door... who reads them on crazy days! Frustrating thing is that I ASKED and the associate had only told me "30 days and keep the receipt" horrible service from corporate management and horribly trained associates. read more

Came in at 9:45am on 7/21/19 to pick up prescription. 2 pharmacists working and I stood there over 5 minutes. One walked out right passed me and the other kept looking up at me from the computer without acknowledging me or saying anything. I finally asked are you open and was told "the sign says we open at 10". I will be filling my prescriptions at Walgreens going forward. Not to throw stones but the store is dingy and dark with dirty carpets and musty smells. The only reason I went there is they don't have many customers so I thought wait times would be faster.
