She did not ask for our physical vaccination cards or even on our phone. She just asked when was the last COVID shot we got. We were instructed to sit for 15 minutes after the shot. I did not like the fact that we did not receive a booster information sheet afterward. I think it is something important to have, especially since now there are multiple booster variations available.

I got white chocolate Reese's peanut butter cups. There was a sale happening where you can get two bags for $3. I got four bags. Two were these cups. The other two were assorted Hershey's chocolates. Let's just say that my team at work inhaled both bags that I had brought in (the cups and the assorted chocolates). They were that yummy. I loved the section of books that featured the history of Columbus. I stood there reading one of them. Perhaps I should have bought it. It was a good read. Ever since my trip to Charlotte and visiting a Walgreens there, I have a thing for Squishmallows. I saw the cutest festive penguin one that you can hook to your purse and got it. It was only $3. I got to the register to pay. I got a nice guy helping me with my purchases. I got my Walgreens rewards card scanned, paid with a credit card, and walked out happy with my purchases. When I arrived, only one of the prescriptions was filled as a 30‑day supply instead of the 90‑day supply I had confirmed. I repeatedly explained that I had called ahead and verified the quantity. I was frustrated and confused, especially when I was told that if I accepted the box, I would have to wait three months before receiving the full prescription again. Rather than providing a clear explanation, the pharmacist stood there pounding on the box of insulin and said, "DO YOU WANT THIS OR NOT." Insulin is essential for my survival, and I felt pressured into making a choice without proper information or support. Her behavior was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. There was no empathy, no respect, and no attempt to help me understand the situation.

While gathering my information, the pharmacist did an excellent job making small talk and making me feel comfortable. The unfortunate thing about this location is that there is no privacy curtain/ private area where you receive your vaccinations. While, I personally don't mind receiving my vaccination out in the open space, I almost feel like I'm violating someone else's privacy as I am waiting my turn. Other than that, if you need a COVID-19 or flu vaccination, be sure to schedule an appointment ahead of time as there are no walk-ins.
