Very slow service. There is always a long line and only one cashier working at the front counter every time I pick up a prescription.

Oh no!!! We got a new car battery and the car won't stop blinking. The emergency lights just won't…read morego off. The loud alarm wasn't going off, just the emergency lights. And the triangle button wasn't doing anything. We went back to the car shop and inquired what we could do. They suggested that the alarm may be going off. We zipped home and found the key fob that has the alarm button on it. Sadly the fob didn't do a thing. No locking and unlocking the doors, no panic button clicking on and off. Nothing. OMG!!! What to do. We popped it open and the battery looked fine. We haven't used it in 7 years so it should still be working. The battery wasn't corroded so there was no excuse why is wasn't working. Our only guess is it expired. Maybe time drained it. So off to Walgreens we went. In high hopes they had this unique battery size. We brought our expired battery with us. It actually had no expiration date so I should just refer to it as a dead battery. To our pleasant surprise they had it. It looked like a AAA battery but half the heights. We've never seen a battery like it before. Usually in key fobs they use giant watch looking batteries. Those we actually have at home. The batteries were easy to find in Walgreens. Soon as you enter go right and walk past the cash register and on the wall on the right all your batter dreams are hanging. When we found the one we wanted we realized the batteries were locked. By that time a long line at the cashiers had formed. After waiting by the batteries I got in line. When it was my turn she grabbed her key and helped us get our battery. By then the line had subsided and we quickly checked out, put in our rewards number and were on our way. In the car we instantly put the battery in, but it didn't do anything, no light went on or anything. We drove home and now we were in sight of our car we tried it again and the light blinked and the doors unlocked. With another click the doors locked. After that we were on a roll. No more blinking lights and thankfully the issue was solved. We are so blessed that we solved the problem with a single batter and no trip to the dealership. The cashier was pleasant and efficient. She welcomed everyone into the store even as she was busy checking people out. I thought that was a nice touch, the personal welcome. If you are in search of a unique size batter I suggest you check out Walgreens in West Sacramento.

Had to spend hours on phone with my insurance to get it worked out. The manager, Anita, is rude and defensive. The pharmacist is rude and uncaring. The pharmacist assistant ignores you so you just have to sit and wait. And God forbid they smile or act pleasant. It is bad enough the place looks like a slum. It is worse when they act like they belong in a slum. Worst walgreens I have ever been to. Hope i never have to come back here. Too bad there are no minus stars

The family restroom hadn't been serviced since 10 AM on 3/15, and I'm here on 3/16. There were crackers all over the floor, toilet paper everywhere, and the overall condition was just disgusting. On top of that, the store is always understocked, with basic items constantly out. Lines are always long, and there's never enough staff to support the volume. When you do interact with employees, the service is often rude and unhelpful. To make it worse, they don't even allow you to pay in electronics, which just adds more frustration to an already poor experience. This store seriously needs better management, more staffing, and basic standards for cleanliness. Right now, it's unacceptable.

I wanted some toilet tablets and they had 2 kinds. Scrubbing bubbles tablets for the tank and gel press on ones for the bowl. I got a package of each. We have 4 toilets so we can test to see which one works better. Now the challenge is we need to clean our toilets before we begin using them. I also wanted a bagged salad for lunch. I know we have food at home and I should really eat that up first, but we're out of salad and I was really in the mood for some salad. They had a Southwest salad that sounded good. As I pulled the front one out I saw the one behind it had a sale tag on it so I grabbed that one and saved around $0.50. Not much, but it was something. It was probably an old bag that needed to be used by today. That was fine as I broke it open soon as I got home. It was really tasty. It was one of those cabbage mixes. It had freeze dried corn and crunches in a packet. Along with a pack of Parmesan cheese. It was a solid salad and I ate the entire bag. I really liked the Southwest salad dressing it came with. Parking is easy if you don't mind walking a little. Soon as you pull in grab a spot so you aren't spending your time hunting around. I got lucky today and got one of the 3 spots up front. And it was just my luck that traffic was light and I didn't have any issues pulling out of the spot to leave. Target is a pretty pleasant place to shop. It's always bustling with people. I know that there a lot of good deals to be had lurking around the store. I used to shop there all the time and find those clearance end caps and get things for a steal. Then over time I realized that those things were a good deal, but I really didn't need them so I was spending money that I didn't need to. After that realization I steer clear of Target. I've saved so much money not shopping there.

Gave passive-aggressive advice about finding an in-person psychiatrist so that I could have the privilege of using their garbage office to fill out a script for f%$?ing ADHD medication. Their idiotic notification system called me EVERY HOUR ON THE HOUR for several days to let me know that...I was enrolled in phone call notifications. No options on the actual call (which is also just an automated robocall) and to either call them (which I called several times and they told me they would remove me from the call list, all lies) or what I finally did, having to go on the walmart website to change my phone call settings. I am going to repeat this: I could not use my TELEPHONE to opt out of TELEPHONE notifications. I don't think I am allowed to put the pharmacies I am using instead now, but trust me when I say you have choices that are both closer to you and less of a headache than the imbeciles that run Walmart in West Sac

Jennai is always super sweet, have also been helped by a younger Filipina girl before. Refilling is easy in the Walmart app, express payment by scanning a QR code or having a payment method saved so it's pretty contactless. They call to remind you when your meds are ready for pickup, or if you haven't picked them up yet. If you also sign up for email or text reminders those are also great. I believe they also had a curbside pickup or even by mail. I have also gotten a flu shot here, as well as my Covid-19 booster shot (Moderna). I was checked in, temperature taken (wrist), questions answered. Pharmacist Julie administered my booster today and definitely recommends making an appointment as walk-ins aren't as easily accommodated since the booster became available to all adults. When you make your appointment and select location, it will say which of the vaccines they have available. This West Sac pharmacy has all three: Pfizer, Moderna, and J&J. When I tried booking a booster appointment through Sutter or Dignity, there were no appointment timeslots available until mid January! So don't overlook or pass judgement on Walmart as an option for vaccines if you can't find any at Walgreens, Rite Aid or CVS, Safeway, etc.

Unfortunately, this pharmacy is no longer on the preferred pharmacy list with my health insurance…read more When I filled a script here recently, they could only fill one month's worth of meds, but I didn't find this out until I picked up. It would've been helpful if they told me when they ran my insurance and then give me a choice whether I still wanted to go through them to fill my Rx and get only 30 days of meds and then have to come back 2 more times in the next 2 months to get the rest of my full script of 90 days or to go somewhere else. I'm not sure if it's same cost to fill a 3 months script split over 3 times or not, but the inconvenience factor is a consideration for me. When I found out and the cashier explained why, she was not friendly about it. She was kind of curt and borderline rude about it, like I should've known (things could change even with the same health insurance every year) and that they have no responsibility to let me know ahead of time that they can only fill 1/3 of a 90 days script now. Anyways, they also started charging a surcharge for credit card usage and this wasn't always the case. It's only 25c for $10 charged for example, but it's the principle of passing on costs to customers when it's really the overhead that a pharmacy that's quite established should expect. Or only accept cash, but I imagine that would turn away many customers. In any case, I may have to find a new pharmacy now, unfortunately. Even though I want to continue to support a small business, the customer service piece should be as good if not better. We walked around a bit afterwards and although the gifts they sell are different and unique, the sticker shock was unreal.

I've used this CVS to pick up prescriptions, allergy medicine, and odds and ends over the years…read more For some reason this is a very popular spot, there is parking available but sometimes you need to find a spot a bit further away from the store. If parking is busy it's typically a sign that it's going to be a longer visit. The pharmacy has been pretty efficient when I've visited and the team has been friendly. I typically avoid getting in the front line, for some reason it's always long and they seem understaffed because it can take a lot longer than when I visit the pharmacy. I'm happy to have this location in the area, but I think some additional staffing could help them out.

Yet, time…read moreand time again they attempt to usurp my physicians prescriptions and question ands harass me regarding my "medical conditions" to warrant certain prescriptions (which is in their records since I've been a customer of over 10 years and pick up the SAME scripts EVERY month). To question a costumer, in the earshot of other costumers, about prescriptions and medical conditions is potentially setting that customer up, putting them in harms way for an assault and theft outside as they leave! This is blatant HIPPA VIOLATION!!! They do not have any consistency with how they handle IDs, either. For over 3 years I've been using my digital iPhone VALID drivers license and today, they want the physical license...even though the "Silvina" (sp) East Indian long haired female pharmacist (who consistently works a register as a cashier) "allowed" me to use it 2 pick ups ago, today she says it was a "courtesy " for the last pick up. She denied it then and when I requested the pharmacist, she proudly stated, "I AM the pharmacist"...then I said, "well, then, you should know this is an acceptable form of ID"...and another pharmacist came over and said to accept it. I thought she learned, but, she flat out LIED today to say "as a courtesy"...and they denied me my medication. NOBODY INFORMED ME IT WAS A COURTESY AND TO BEING MY ACTUAL DL "next time"! I don't carry a purse. EVERYTHING is in my phone. I LYFT to the pharmacy so when they pull this crap (question my medication, question dosages, ask what medical conditions I have to warrant certain prescriptions, etc)...I have to pay for the transportation TWICE. I've lived in the neighborhood for 33 years and am a homeowner and they are unfortunately the only pharmacy left in the area (Bel Air was amazing but they closed)...and since then I've used CVS... and it's AWFUL...long lines, super poor consumer service they know they can get away with. Violating basic human rights. This place needs to be shut down! Uneducated, poorly and inconsistently trained pharmacists AND staff...nothing like how it used to be. I worked side by side with a pharmacist/best friend for 13 years in the same office and NEVER did he question a doctor's prescription. Ever. They are getting so egotistical and just STUPID and are doctor wannabes who think THEY PRESCRIBE...WRONG!! Their job is to DISPENSE. If they've an issue with it, contact the doctor so they can tell you to do your job instead of me having to!! I'm looking elsewhere. CVS loses another solid customer and CVS Corporate Headquarters is stupid because the pharmacists do not care how many customers CVS has (or loses) as long as they get paid. Here's today's CLOWN OF THE DAY who, by the way, would not give me her name to report to Corporate Headquarters. Corporate Headquarters does not provide either. She comes to register with mask on and glass partition to speak to a hearing impaired customer?! Ridiculous!! I told her I was impaired and she did NOTHING to accommodate my disability (ADA VIOLATION). Hides her huge ego and idiotic behavior behind the mask). Typical CVS pharmacist/tech! Ask yourself why! The quality of Pharmacists they are signing on is AWFUL. They are transient poorly educated (usually out of country), poorly trained excuses of pharmacists who JUDGE all who come to them...even when *some* have been reprimanded professionally for controlled substance abuse. Yep! It's public record. Not a problem because I know how to retrieve full names from CA State Board of Pharmacy. Not my first rodeo!! Stupidity all around. Just shameful.
