Pay attention to package dates so you don't get items that have been sitting around. If you don't you are absolutely wasting your money here. I just opened some pretzels I bought 2 weeks ago and it's expiring today?! Always check expirations dates on their items and skip the bakery stuff. It really sucks when you get home and realize you waste money.

I want to focus on their modern technology which has failed !!!!! Here I am at Raley's shopping and I think I should really save some money by looking at the current ads. I whip out my phone using the Raley's app go to Weekly Ad. It pulls and I go town. I check what's on sale and start pulling those items from the shelves and placing them in my cart. I save over $4 on Oatmeal and $1 off those Aidells sausages. Then I go reading the ads they place on the coolers for salads. Buy 2 Fresh Express salads and only pay $1.97 each or so. So I buy two. and they come out to be $3.99 each. I've tried to buy these salads before and they always ring up wrong. I really should just give up on trying to get the savings on these salads, I can't figure out what i'm doing wrong to get this deal. So here I am cart full and checking out. I asked the cashier to make sure I got the deal on the sausages and all he sees 10% off. He asks me to pull up the ad and I show him on the app. I got to weekly ad and there it is. I'm not looking at some old email. The sent me. I'm right here on the app. He asks me what date it says on the ad. I show him that it says weekly ad. Well he scrolls down to the bottom of the ad and enlarges it to show me the date. He says this is next weeks ads. I said but, I'm pulling this up on the app and it says weekly ads, it should be the current ad. Then then bag boy speaks up and says the add will start Wednesday (Today is Monday)therefore the app is wrong for half a week every week. They need to redo there app and if it says weekly ad it should be the current ad. And if they want to stick with being a week off they should at-least put the dates of the ad in a font size you really can read without blowing it up. To add to this there is no way to look at the current ads on the app. Therefore this app is useless unless you wait to Wednesday to use it. As I was entering on take two of the day since I forget something's I did see a pile of paper ads by the front door. I guess next time I shops I'll have to be like those other people and pick up a paper ad on my way in. This really kills the idea of looking at the ad at home and planning the shopping trip ahead of time unless it's Wed. The checker wanted to know if I wanted to return those items, but by that time it was too late, I already planned my meals around those items and there would have been a ton to return and then I would have to replan those meals. And at that time I didn't know you could also get the. ad at the front of the store. If I hand known that I could have returned everything , started over with the current ad and gone from there, but after spending 30 minutes in the store already I was shopped out.. I just wanted to be done. And still after that that I went home looked at my recipe and realized I had forgotten 3 ingredients and had to go back again. Sadly to say, Yes, I was that shopper that held up the line when I had the checker do a price check on those sausages. I'm sorry about to the person that was behind me. Thankfully it was only one person. What I learned from this experience is if you want to use the app to shop flip it open at home then do this on Wednesday. Then you can plan your meals then and then go shopping. For me I'm a Monday and Tuesday shopper so this doesn't work for me. I can only hope that they go back to mailing ads and this way I can plan ahead. Circle the items I want at home and take the ad with me along with my shopping list.

Always changing and a wide and vast selection. I always look up the same wine on the internet and I'm shocked at the price discrepancy. I know they liquidate a lot of local wineries so they are able to offer the prices at a very low rate. It was quite crowded with their 80th Anniversary celebration! Very lively! They had a free prize wheel spin. Kids loved it. I won a small notepad. They also had free hot dogs, chips, and soda outside. Can't pass up FREE! Most importantly, I want to highlight the staff. It was very busy with the celebration so it was all hands on deck. I have never seen so much staff working at the same time in the store before. Everybody had such a positive attitude and high energy in spite of what must be a long and busy day. I hope the owners recognize what great staff they have.

You will find fresh produce, meat department, breads, canned goods, frozen foods, dairy products, coffee/tea, wine deals, candy, water and much more!!! I was told that there were not a lot of customers so they planned to close early. That was fine, and I just headed out there earlier a couple days later. So when I decided to try this location for the first time, I wasn't exactly walking in with high expectations. First win: I found a parking spot without having to circle the lot like I was competing in the Hunger Games. My budget was VERY happy. I didn't need much customer service, but the employee working the self-checkout area was friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. I noticed some other reviews mentioning homeless individuals outside the store, but during my visit, I didn't encounter that at all. Now for the one little heartbreak... The main reason I came was for a rotisserie chicken, and they were SOLD OUT! They had more cooking, but apparently my chicken and I were not meant to meet that day. I did a morning pickup and it was only 1 person there if I do very early morning pickup - 7am pickup. The workers there were fast and efficient on their pickup and there was minimal interaction. It basically took me only a few minutes from checking in to leaving after the pickup. Overall the experience was fast and efficient. 5/5

Mom purchased the sour cherry and same with the flavor, could not taste cherry. We did like that Nab was not as sweet compared to BRAFCO. The meat department here is the best and the carnicero's are always friendly and helpful. We really like the pan dulce, or Mexican sweet bread, here. They have cabinets full of different varieties. They also have fresh bread which is great for making tortas. I love ordering a half pound of the cooked carnitas. It's always very tasty and when I combine it with the hot tortillas, fresh cilantro and white onion, I feel like I'm eating at a taqueria. Their choices of queso fresca is top notch too. Plenty of salsa choice to choose from. Went here Sunday which was the day after the Canelo fight and the day of Cinco De Mayo. Needless to say all the tortilla chips were gone. Lol. Ended up finding a couple bags in the back of the shelf but I regretted it as they were a bit stale. One of the managers here hooked me up with a pack of sodas free of charge as a consolation.
