I usually come here because it's between my sons high school and my daughters pre-k as the 2 near my house plus 1 near my daughters school don't have drive thrus and I just had twins 5 weeks ago. But I regret it everytime they have horrible service. You can wait at the drive thru for 40 mins. At times they are late to work so don't open till 10 mins later. Don't communicate. I went multiple times to pick my sons. ADHD medicine just for them to tell me 19 days after the prescription was sent I can only pick from the CVS that corresponds to my address (had never heard of that). Tell you it'll be ready by a certain time and I show up an hr later just in case and it's still not ready. Tell you to move up on the drive thru because the pharmacist has to speak to you but she's busy so they are going to take other customers but there's a freakin wall so they never get back to you. read more

Worst pharmacy I've ever experienced!! The female pharmacist should be fired!! I've never seen a more incompetent person. They DONT CARE! Worst time I've ever had trying to get a commonly used drug filled. They are not stocking drugs apparently... according to their pharmacist phenobarbital isn't common.... On what planet?!! hmmm, I wonder why? Are they going broke? I actually was tasked with calling every month to remind them to order the medication only for them to accuse me of trying to refill it too soon. Then when I go to pick it up at the appropriate time, they never have it. I explained close to a hundred times to everyone there for the whole last year that without the medication the seizures are horrible. They still don't care!!! This happened every single month for the last year!! If you like being treated like a third world second class citizen just to pick up your medication, then you're all set with CVS in SW Miami on 112th. Very bad service, after standing in line for 30 minutes, ( no one was taking care of the customers) no apparent reason for the delay, then the staff takes my prescription and makes a negative face, then without a word, puts my prescription in front of the next window, no instructions on what to do next. Don't go here if you want to be watched while you shop and be interfered with while doing self checkout. I was shopping with my boyfriend for oral products and I look down the aisle and see this woman watching us. She left the aisle as soon as I made eye contact with her. We purchased a few items and some disinfectant wipes on sale and continued browsing. We decided to get a few more of the wipes and while I ran back to grab another while my boyfriend was checking out she comes up to him and asks if our bag of already purchased items was ours and grabs to bag to move it (he didn't ask her for assistance) Not sure if it was my nose piercings or tattoos but nasty experience with that woman. Website states they provide wellness visits and physicals but This is not the case. Do not go here if you need a regular check up, doctor does not take your height, blood pressure or even weight and it seems they want you in/out quickly. I really don't know how many times I've been in this store, but every time I go, I swear I'm never going back. 95 % of the time,,, there is absolutely no cashier, the marvelous so called management have decided that it is better to let the people stand around, and wait for the next customer to get frustrated trying to do a job ,,,, they're not trained to do, and that's run a cash register. THEN,,, out of the 2,,, self check outs available, there's one down, line is increasingly getting longer, more customers frustrated,,, and when you do make it up, after maneuvering around all the end caps, wing stacks, and aisle blockage sales items some brainiac decided to cramp into the front,,"waiting room", now there's only 1,,,, self check out working, and after being 6th in line, getting to that 1 machine,,,, then,,, an associate comes over, and waves their I'd card , and starts up the other machine. This locations management practices are barbaric at best. Obviously, the DM doesnt set 1 foot inside this store,,, or if they do, they're friends with the manager,, and consequently, both should be fired ! Organized, nice help at the pharmacy, customer service is really great at this one CVS, much better than the one closer to my casa. The minute clinic rocks and I love one of the nurses there, super sweet and gave advise for free when I told her that I didn't have insurance. Also, they do have more availability of makeup when it goes on sale or any specials than others around the area. read more

I went there for a walk-in clinic (minuteclinic which should change their name to hourclinic instead) I spent total of 5 HOURS at the clinic (weekday). I arrived there at 10:30 AM, registered at the kiosk and was done at around 10:45 but I saw the nurse at 3:45 PM !! She's good but the system of the clinic is very poor management ! Only one person takes care of both paperworks and the patients !?!? At least you should have one person who can take care of the paperwork prior seeing the nurse while waiting outside ! The mobile messeage notification is also a joke...I got the message notified me to come back with in 30 minutes but when I looked at the kiosk screen, it showed that I was put back to after lunch break which would be the next 1 hour. So you shouldn't use this system if it's not accurate and cannot follow the time schedule. There were two people who came back later from their morning register wih the kiosk and because they couldn't wait that long so they left and decided to came back in the afternoon. Those two people just cut in line us who had been waiting patiently for 3 hours !!! No one could help even the nurse herself !! She just let those people get into the room ! One old man had been waiting there for 3 hrs and later found out that his name was gone from the screen. Perhaps, the nurse was confused with the one that cut in the line. The employees at this store are genuine in their customer service. This by far my favorite CVS to visit. I just wish they were 24 hrs.

This CVS is located in The Crossings shopping plaza and it is just as good as any other CVS. However, what is worth writing about is the Minute Clinic inside of it. I have been here 3 times and all three times I have had a GREAT experience. First off, these Minute Clinics are the best for when you have something minor like a cold, but feel you need medical care and your doctor cannot see you ( perhaps over the weekend or the evening). Secondly, they accept most insurance companies and most of the time don't charge a copay. If they do because of insurance issues, the charge will most likely be around $60, which beats the bill, wait, and lack of personal attention that you get at most urgent care facilities. Third, there is usually minimal wait if any and whatever is prescribed to you can be picked up 2 feet away at the pharmacy counter. Lastly, they ALWAYS follow up with a telephone call. The NP that sees you will call you within a few days to see how your symptoms are changing. Isn't that phenomenal?! This particular Minute Clinic at the Crossings has a Nurse Practitioner that is simply wonderful! Her name is Lilia Pino. I was just there this weekend and she was very friendly yet extremely professional just as she was last time I was there, 11 months ago. As we started talking, she remembered my profession and my son from the previous time she had attended me! She was very thorough in her assessment and suggested several methods of relieving my discomfort. She was also very easy to talk to and explained everything in detail. Review of the minute clinic - I just went to the mini clinic today for a sore throat and ear pain. The ARNP was very nice and attentive. She took a long time listening to my symptoms and did not rush me through the visit. This was my first time @ a minute clinic and it will not be my last. It was fast, conveniant, and AFFORDABLE :) Only $79-$89 and they bill my insurance. Lovely. It's also an added bonus that it's inside a CVS so I filled my prescription their too. I was in and out within an hour. read more

I walked in tonight at 7:03pm and was told flat out by the nurse that I will not be seen because she needed to see two patients before me and that she would not be able to attend to me by the close time of 7:30pm. To which I replied what the point of having a schedule posted, and I specifically called to confirm the times posted in the internet. I am baffled and extremely disappointed not only by this type of answer which to me translate to a disservice to the community where this minute clinic is located. Coming to the clinic is not talking a walk in a park, someone goes there because you are looking for assistance. Shame! This is the worst store. Besides the fact that the store is old and just looks dirty, their customer service is horrendous. I recently went in to get passport pictures for my 5 month old. I went in and I politely asked if they take passport pictures because I didn't see much of a photo section. The guy who I assume to be the manager asked who it was for. When he found out it was for the baby, he said they only sometimes do it and I need to bring my own white backdrop. They didn't even look at the child to see if he could sit up on his own or not. I asked if they had a white back drop and they said yes but only for adults. Who has their own white back drop?! If I did, I wouldn't need their help. You can tell they didn't want to even bother trying. I left and got his picture at Walgreens where the service was above and beyond. read more

It's like every other CVS place. I went to the one minute clinic in the back for my mom, and the doctor on staff was nice and helped mt mother out. She gave her, her honest opinion on the matter. Recommending my mom to see a specialist--which everyone has to do at one point. She gave my mom her medicine with the suggested regiment. So all in all, a very good experience. I would go in myself, if I have too. But the pharmacy department itself, is just kinda slow for three people working and no one in line. read more

I have being going to this CVS store and their pharmacy for many years and never had a problem. Their staff is very helpful and friendly. Today I decided to try the MINUTE CLINIC for the first time. BIG MISTAKE !! , for starters the name should be changed to 3 Hour Clinic. I went there because I have a very bad cold and a painful ear ache and it is only a few blocks from my house. I arrived around 2 o'clock and signed in. The NP went to lunch soon after that which is Ok. When she returned she called the next person and spent almost an hour with him and the same thing with the one that followed. At 4:55 she came out and said she was only going to see one more patience because she was having problems with the computer being slow. At this time I was the next person on the list and a pregnant lady with a small child that was sick. Only 2 more people so I asked her if that meant that she was not going to see us and she said NO that she needed to leave by 5:30. I became extremely upset and asked her if it was fair that people sat there for hours feeling sick only to be told that they were not going to be seen?? Her answer was do you want me to get home at 9:30? There are no words to describe the frustration!!! If she was having a computer problem, people should not have been allowed to sign in after 1 or 2 o'clock...You do not wait till 5 to say I am not seeing anyone else. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE......
