I called late Monday and asked if they could do it for my specific vehicle, and by the end of the week because I was heading out of town for Labor Day weekend and needed it to haul our trailer. In about 30 seconds she said "If you can let me now by the end of the day we can get you in Wednesday afternoon". A quick phone call to the wife later and I called her back to confirm. After the runaround and the lack of interest in what I was trying to do at U-Haul, this was the best news I could have gotten. Wednesday afternoon I showed up at 2pm, gave them my keys and sat down in the waiting room while they installed the hitch. All of the staff I interacted with at Dukes was knowledgeable and friendly. The sales floor is packed with more stuff having to do with hauling that I ever imagined existed. About an hour-and-a-half later they came to get me, I paid, and I was on my way. Sure, I paid more than I would have a U-Haul, but there's something to be said for convenience and a staff that cares about their customers. I know it's a short order for a big ask, especially with a holiday weekend coming up, but when the voice on the other end said "Yes, we can!" I knew I'd made the right choice.

I'm from Los Angeles and these guys are in Louisville KY We did a film in the Louisville KY area and one of our trailers was left in storage for almost a year, having no idea of the condition or anything of the sit, we placed a call to ask Bill (the owner) and he easily and happily went to the storage yard and picked it up for us and brought it to his facility and began to ascertain whether or not the trailer was roadworthy and would make a trip back to Southern California. He stayed in constant and efficient communication with me and called in help from an outside source to handle the issues that were not their expertise and at the end of the 2 weeks, we drove out and picked up the trailer and met him and his staff.... Great people, service that is out of this world and extraordinary and they could certainly teach some other businesses how to run their operation !! Thanks to Bill and his entire team at Dukes !

My 2004 Suzuki Marauder VZ1600 stalled when I put it in 1st gear. I researched possible causes,…read morewhich included a bad side stand switch or bad hydraulic clutch safety switch. I cut the leads to the side stand switch and loope the ends together, but that didn't work. So, I called the Suzuki dealership in Middletown to make an appointment but the advisor said they didn't work on older bikes, just the newer ones. I was very disappointed to hear that! The advisor offered me a short list of possible shops in the area who would work on my bike. Of the four that I contacted via an online request for service, only Magnum Motorcycle Parts and Salvage responded, leaving me a message to "call the shop." I did and spoke with Leonard, the advisor/co-manager, who offered possible solutions to my issue, i.e., bad side stand switch, bad clutch safety switch, or stuck clutch plates! I took my bike to the shop on Friday morning in a rented U-Haul motorcycle trailer. The shop owner, Daniel, helped me unload the bike off the trailer. Daniel and Leonard were exceptionally helpful and said they'd get to it as soon as they could. The next day, Saturday, I got a call from Leonard and he advised me the bike was fixed. I couldn't believe it. I was expecting a long wait - weeks or longer. Leonard told me the clutch plates had stuck together (the oil acted like a glue) because the bike had sat in my garage over the Winter and most of Spring without being ridden. The service technician was able to separate the clutch plates, and he also welded the side stand wires back together. When I picked up my bike, I was thrilled when I started it and put it in gear and road it 20+ miles to my home. Daniel and Leonard were outstanding and very informative as to possible solutions. Excellent customer service and the tech did a great job identifying the actual problem with the clutch plates and then fixing my mistake, i.e., repairing the cut wires on my side stand switch. I would most highly recommend the Magnum Motorcycles for repairs. Their repair pricing was very reasonable, and they got to my bike quickly. The bike was fixed within a day after dropping it off. Another well-known place that I used to go generally seems too slow or busy to be helpful to customers, but that's not the case here. The service is such that you can engage with employees and know right away that they care about solving your problem or satisfying the need for your visit. If you're in a rush, there's a good chance that you can get in and out fairly quickly. This is something so basic, but seemingly rare. Keep up the good work!

I get there Wednesday after Dennis avoiding me show up Wednesday to get car.Dennis has replaced break line and charged me a additional $172 on top of $150 for the line.Had to beg and borrow to get full payment before I can have car back That was totally unprofessional and all 3 business on property work together to get people for money. Note I have AAA and told him REPEATEDLY not to do break line I can tow it home and fix line for $10 myself at home.But he did it anyways and charged $172 was. I drove the vehicle around for an hours hoping the alternator would charge the battery. When I turned off the car it wouldn't start again. The young man inside explained they were not allowed to change the battery because of liability issues. The next morning one of the gentlemen came out and assisted me with changing the battery when I got stuck a few times. If you have any simple vehicle issues I would strongly recommend them as your first stop.

My neighbor's cables, more heavy duty, work immediately! Fair enough! (Admittedly, months later, as weather was bad, and receipt was long gone) I went back, intending to get credit on a more expensive set of cables, but the store would do nothing! I said "So you don't stand behind what you sell, at all?" And the manager just shrugged! Other than that, store is ok, nothing to write home about. They stock a bunch of car stuff - probably will have what you need. They did come out to parking lot and install a battery. (I just hope it makes it through the winter!)
