The not-at--all unfriendly dog, getting so much attention she was too happy to sit still.

The "Unfriendly" Dog? Really? OK, first, this is the shop mechanics use, and recommend. When I went to a car mechanic for an inspection, he steered me here, because he uses it for his bike stuff. I just wanted a check over, since I discovered the guy I'd bought my bike from was dishonest, and I wasn't terribly familiar with some things about my new bike. They did what I asked, even had the decency not to laugh at me for not having checked the tire pressure... They also made a few adjustments (a couple of which I should have made myself - lame me) that has the bike performing Next Level better. And they reassured me that it is, overall, running just as it should. I appreciated that. Much as it might have made me feel like a noob to ask, I needed that peace of mind before a long road trip. Now, for the so-called unfriendly dog: As soon as I rode up, she ran from window to window to greet me. It's rare to find a shop dog, seeing strangers all day, still happy to greet new ones. Given how delightful she was to me, I asked the owner if the person who'd left other review had called inside. He struck me as a decent dog owner, and like every decent dog owner, he would have happily confined his dog to accommodate someone who was afraid. But no one had called. Just they were all surprised with this bad review. I then thought I'd take a photo showing her docile and friendly to counter the other review.... This didn't work out quite as planned: all the attention got her so happy she started running and dancing about with her toy. The owner, Jerry, told her to sit still. She did... and then as soon as allowed her to do so, started running in a big circle and playing with her squeaky toy again. So my photos are either running dog or dog waiting to run. I just wanted one of her wagging her tail at me, which she'd been doing before she got all excited about the attention. In short, she's a very friendly dog, the kind you're glad to encounter if you're at all a dog person. But if you're afraid, they seemed very understanding. So just call inside and let them know.

I called my local Vespa dealer and they didn't wanna work on anything over 10 years old. But I got lucky, I found Alby at Sensible Repair Solutions. Located in Lake St. Louis just off interstate 70 they work out of a storage unit along with dozens of other businesses. The nice thing is, this helps keep the price down, but they still deliver quality work. I'm extremely happy with the job they did for me, I needed my gas tank flushed a tuneup, an oil change, and I needed my scoot gone through from front to back top to bottom and that's exactly what they did. I'm happy to have my Vespa running again and I couldn't be happier with the Service. Thank you!

I have had several positive reviews on my business yelp site that came from yelp customers. but never post because they don't frequently use the app to review businesses. yelp is truly a pay to play service. I've used alby several times and have never had any issues, he is to the book or doesn't do it. some people would find that breaking the rules is inconvenient and I can see how that would affect the reviewing process. simply put if you want a cheeseburger you don't go to an Italian restaurant. I recommend Alby to everybody that I can

I had a bump in with a car and someone I know suggested I get a quote from them; they were recommended highly. There is a reason for that, they are really incredible not only in their work but their work ethic. It's not a huge shop, it is locally owner owned and Sean and Paul are about the best fellows there are to work with. No pressure, didn't talk over my head, didn't promise what couldn't be done...talked 'to me' not 'at me' being a lady in upper years and didn't walk in the shop with a man; Sean took his time explaining everything. Their shop is incredibly clean and bright. I don't say that lightly; there is a place for everything and the shop is kept remarkably clean. They are friendly, so very kind. They work with you and there is no bait and switch on the quote they give you. Honest and their work is without question, remarkable. They take tremendous pride in their reputation and it shows. Not only do they accomplish their magic on repairing vehicles, they repair motorcycles and they actually build motorcycles from the ground up for customers. It is truly amazing to be in their shop. I had my car delivered to me Sunday evening so I finally had it after being without wheels for a week. No phony sincerity, kindness and friendliness. Really nice fellows, clean and bright shop, very honest and talented. You'll be glad you gave them a call. Don't make the mistake and try someone else first.

In the 15 minutes I browsed the store after getting my tag no one asked if they could help me; someone acknowledged me on my way in and another on my way out. I picked the bike up and withing 25 miles the rear tire shredded on one side. I returned to the shop and was told this was just normal "wear and tear" and had nothing to do with the tune-up. I asked if an examination of the tires was nto something done in a tune-up, and they promptly told me that they have no way of knowing when a tire will shred or become unusable. The shredding was considered "a coincidence". I equate this to taking my car into the shop and know they will look at all the vital parts (tires included) and make recommendations on them. They seem to know what the remaining life span of a tire is I ended up having to buy a new tire and tube, which they would not even give me a discounted price on. They also mentioned that the tune-up plan I had purchased should have never been sold with the bike (not sure what that was all about...). I have been to many of the other bike shops in town and they are knowledgeable and thorough. These folks seem to be in it just for the money. Don't go here unless you really are in a bind. Go to a place where they know what they are talking about.
