Evidently these Jamaicans have never hear the word customer service. The place can be empty of customers and full of employees. You walk in and stand waiting to be helped and nobody even acknowledges that you are live. It's like you are doing them a favor by entering their store. The first time I walked in to purchase a mountain bike. I waited and waited and waited. ten minutes later I walked out and drove to Mack Cycle and left a my mountain bike at an excellent price in less than 10 minutes. Again, I made the mistake of going into Cycle World (it's 5 minutes from my work). Again, no customers. I waited and waited and waited while some upset looking employees built a bike, others just walked around acting busy and a Chinese Jamaican fellow sitting at the register stared blindly into nothing. Again I waited at the counter for about ten minutes and walked out. I then drove to Mack Cycle which is a bit out of my way. the store was full of customers but I was sable to zip in and out with what I needed in less than 5 minutes. Save yourself the aggravation and keep driving when you are near Cycle World. I don't know who they sell to or how they can stay in business with such a chip on their shoulder but as the saying goes, "burn me once shame on you, burn me twice shame on me." I will never step foot inside this business establishment even if they offer their product for free. I rather drive miles out of my way and pay more for a product than patronize these arrogant merchants. read more

At mack cycle I get this impression they are trying to take your money. Fitting to the bike is a joke because they place u too high up on a stationary trainer so when they fit you to your bike the right angled arm to handle bar placement is thrown off and your 15° foot /angle position (optimal positioning) at full extension is also thrown off keel. I know this now after my experience with buying a specialized transitional triathlon bike ($2300) that I found for nearly 100 dollars cheaper online. They also did it to my friend in her placement on my specialized allez. In addition, their keo plus pedals are almost 20 dollars higher than cycle worlds while cycle world has them on sale 80 dollars in comparison to mack cycle. However, if you buy the pedals and shoes you get the deal of 150, however I dont know how good the shoes are. Cycle world has very knowledgable staff and they have the cervelo's on the floor what a plus and their selection is one of the largest Ive seen thus far. I dont know about anyone trying to take money from the customers or dry staff but I'll definetely take the majority vote at 4.5-5 stars. Valeria is very knowledgable and so is Gus. Recently purchased a new bike from here. I'm new to the area and did my homework before visiting them (checked online reviews, LBS forums, etc.). These guys are the real deal. I purchased my Giant at $100 less than the MRSP; several other bike shops refused to sell for less than MSRP. So right away, I saved $100. They also installed toe clips (I brought them with me from home) for free. Also, the staff are knowledgeable, professional, and don't cut corners on service. After buying the bicycle, I mounted it on a bike rack I borrowed from a friend. I went inside to ask if someone could take a look and check the mounting. For the next 15 minutes, the salesperson reconfigured the bike rack and explained how to properly attach the rack to my car, working on it together. Mind you it was 97 degrees outside, and I hadn't purchased the rack from them. The salesperson told me he wanted to make sure my new bike got home safely. Every time I thanked him, he told me he was merely doing his job. I can't recommend this place enough. Terrific service, and fantastic prices! read more

I called nearly every Giant dealer in the country looking for the Fathom E+ 3, everyone told me 2 - 3 months before they could get one...until I spoke to Gustavo and he told me he has a strong relationship w/ his Giant Rep & would get back to me in a day, or 2. Well he got back to me in less than 4 hours letting me know he can get the bike, in my size & will be in Miami in 7 - 10 days. Well the bike arrived in just 6 days. He understands under promise, over deliver. I needed to buy the bike long-distance, unable to come into the store, so Gustavo kept me well-informed w/ photos/videos & emails, every step of the way. He was EXTREMELY easy to reach by either cell ph, or whats app anytime I had a question. He also insisted on assembling the bike & test riding it to be certain everything was perfect before they shipped it to me. Gustavo also got me the best price possible. My bike's back tire was flat for a long while. I wasn't sure where to take it to get it fixed. My sister recommended this place. She had taken her son's bike, and they did a good job fixing his tire. I took my bike around 6:40 close to them closing at 7:00. They greeted me once I walked in the door, and asked me if I needed help. Once I explained my situation, they helped me unload my bike, and took it to the service shop right away. While I waited, another service rep and I walked the floor checking out the other bikes. Very nice selection of bikes, my son was even impressed since he would like to get a BMX bike eventually in the future. In a matter of minutes, my bike was ready, tire good as new, and we were out the door before 7:00. The cost was less than $20. My son and I definitely agreed it was a great place to come to if our bikes should have a problem in the future or if interested in purchasing a new one. Looking forward to riding my bike tomorrow. This place was great. I'd already gone to another bike shop but still wanted other informed opinions before pulling the trigger on a good beginner bike. While I kind of already knew what bike I wanted (the Trek Marlin 5) I'm still a complete newbie when it comes to cycling in general. The staff member who helped me out, Kristian, was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. No pressure whatsoever so I was more than happy to buy a bike then and there from Kristian. Better yet, the Trek Marlin 6 was only $50 more at Cycle World than the Marlin 5 was at the other shop so I splurged on the better bike. Also, picked up a nice matte black helmet and a good car rack, which Kristian installed himself. read more

I dropped off my bike on Monday for a tuneup and new brake cables($111.00). I was told it was going to be ready for Friday maybe Thursday. I was ok with that however when I called on Friday afternoon (2pm) I was told it wouldn't be ready till after 5pm. After asking what has been done to it I came to find that nobody had even started on it! After getting a bit irritated with the guy on the phone they text me a few hours later saying it was ready. Well it really wasn't. They didn't adjust the rim, they never washed it and never oiled it! This was a waste of time and money! read more

This shop is the WORST!! The store Manager Joan is super RUDE and dramatic. I had a bad experience in the store and instead of trying to work with me and see it from my perspective (the customer!) she accused me of all kind of things like yelling and talking nasty to her (which was not true) and even hung up on me!! This place doesn't do returns either only exchanges or store credit so be prepared to have your money held hostage if the product doesn't work out. I love going to Cycle World Miami. The owners and staff (sales and mechanics) are all extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The women's clothing selection is great. Any time I need a particular article of clothing for a last minute trip, Cycle World will have something in stock. The store has a ton of inventory when it comes to bikes as well and, if they don't have something in stock, they'll order it for you. I was looking for 2 very specific Liv Cycling bicycles and I was able to get them at Cycle World Miami. read more

I ve just moved to Florida. Cycle World is one of the best cycling shop in Miami. The service is great. I have a Cervelo Bike, they really cared it. Finally, i was able to get a nice fitting with my Cervelo. Ram was so helpful, and Robert is very skilled with bike fitting and unpacking.
