The classes are super fun and challenging but doable for people at all different stages. I love the variety of styles in the different instructors because it keeps things from getting boring, and the themed rides are great. I would definitely recommend trying them out if you haven't yet; it's not cheap but it's worth it and they have some great deals for new riders. read more

I like to keep fit in general terms. I play soccer, snow ski, hike, etc. Cycle Bar is a great addition to help me up my game in other areas if I start to feel slow. I'll sign up for a class, go like heck, and burn 500-600 calories after work. If I replace dinner that night with some Shakeology or similar option, I'll lose 2 pounds for the day. All in all, a great health pick-me-up! In order to get 5 stars, just turn down the volume so so I don't feel like I'm leaving a concert afterwards. read more

Love it here! Some trainers are a little harder than others but I like that the lights are usually low and they don't call you out by name. The energy is awesome.. my all time favorite part of every class is the mental positivity. That's what sold me on getting a membership. I love the inspiring words, the inspirational suggestions and the "mental fitness" that you get from the trainers as well. They talk about letting go of negative thoughts with the turn of the pedal and feeling those things drop from our mind with each turn. It's wonderful! Great workout not so hyped about the explicit music and language used by ther instructor. You can definitely motivate without that, but otherwise the workout is awesome. People of all different body types and skill levels attend. The lights go off making it a more intense and focused workout. If you're self conscious about being watched or self conscious period this is also beneficial. Clean, organized, and convenient. You can purchase one class at a time or purchase multiple and get a pretty good discount. I have a routine but I need change every once in a while with my workouts so this I definitely a good push. read more

I've always been a fan of Boutique gyms especially CycleBar. You get a great full body workout in 45 minutes. My favorite part about CycleBar are their theme classes such as their Hip Hop classes. The facility is clean. The staff and instructors are really nice. I'm just glad that Fresno has something like this. read more

I've taken a lot of classes here. Some instructors were OK- others were so bad I walked out. One instructor had an entire soundtrack for class that wasn't in english? The overall energy in the classes is mediocre and that to me would be the reason to make the effort to come here. The price here is less than other studios like SoulCycle, but when classes are so bad you leave it actually isn't less expensive and it became a total waste of time for me. I never ended up using all of my credits as I felt I was getting a better workout at home on my treadmill and it is much easier to manage with my 1 year old. read more

I took my first class at cycle bar last week and it was amazing! I've taken other cycle classes before but this one was a little different and I love it! It was 45min and what I really enjoyed was how they incorporate a 4lb/6lb weighted bar for a nice little arm workout at the end of the class! If you want a way to get in a really hard workout in 45 minutes, this is a great option. The facility is clean and well appointed (although they could use additional room for changing and showering). The staff is friendly and helpful. The space is small, but very clean. The hair ties and Bobby pins in the restroom are a nice touch. Each coach has their own style so if you haven't found your motivational match yet, keep trying different coaches. The music is good, and loud, so bring ear plugs. 4 stars because it's a struggle to find a place to sit to take off and put on my shoes, and because the bikes are so close that I occasionally bump elbows with my neighbor when we're doing arms. It's not enough to keep me away though. I burn a ton of calories and feel great! read more

I've never been a big fan of Spin/ cycling. I mean no body wants to sit on those hard bike seats! Right? Well this class was outstanding!!! It's been years since I took a spin class, and this facility is clean, the technology is up to date, and the class was amazing! I was encouraged to push myself but definitely not picked on. The vibe in the room was very motivating, and the atmosphere was perfect! You are in a room with over 30 people but feel like you are in the zone. The music is nice and loud and the lights are down low. A great sweat, and a good stress reliever too! Oh yeah... my butt wasn't even sore after from the s I highly recommend CycleBar Fresno! Fun, motivating work out! We took Gil's class and LOVED it. He incorporated some upper body work out into the routine. We had taken spin classes from a gym, but never a cycle only gym. Great music, upbeat instruction and you can easily track your progress. Gil came around before class and made sure the bike was set up properly. The facility was clean and well organized.
