I can't tell you how stoked I was when I realized a cyclebar had opened in Sherman Oaks AND it being on ClassPass, I'd been wanting to go after I first saw a cyclebar in Santa Monica! I had paid for my first ride but they added a credit after they found out I was new to the studio so I thought that was really nice! Anyway, I loved my first class with Fabian he had great energy and vibes. I like that the classes are "themed" with descriptions, i.e. Classic, Connect, Xpress, etc..., so you have an idea of the class flow. I know I've gone to some classes elsewhere and wasn't sure how the structure of the class would flow but I like that here I have an idea. I really like the cleanliness of the studio and I like how friendly the staff is. I've gone to a few spin studios in the area trying to find the right one for me and actually deemed one of them my favorite but cyclebar has now beat out that favorite. I liked the classes, the staff members, and the overall vibe of the place. However, when I wanted to cancel, I was charged for 7 weeks. It's all about the timing. I called after I had just been charged for the month. With todays technology, there is no reason to charge someone for more than a 4 weeks notice. I intended to go back in the future until that experience. Now, I go to a gym that has cycling and treadmills for half the price. read more

Very welcoming. Positive environment. Most instructors have great form and all are encouraging. Many go out of their way to greet and get to know you. Very cool new community growing here. Delighted to be part. Only 4 (wish I could choose 4.5) stars as currently they don't offer classes late enough at night for me to attend after work. When studio owner Dana announced she was opening a Cycle Bar in Sherman Oaks I literally screamed. I've always loved Dana as an instructor and I literally would have followed her anywhere. These bikes are amazing. The classes are challenging, the music keeps me dancing and the instructors literally know when and where to push you behind your limits. This review for Cyclebar Sherman Oaks comes from my heart. At the beginning of the pandemic, studio owner Dana announced to the community of spinners she built that she would be opening her own spin studio. Born was Cyclebar Sherman Oaks! This place is beyond inspirational! Greeted at the door, easy check in, new bikes with performance monitors, the instructors are fire, and best of all is the cold eucalyptus scented towels to cool off after your ride. An added bonus is an arm work out while you ride, and the staff who are helpful and readily available. You burn calories, sweat, and grind during each session. #SFV peeps, give this place a go, no regrets! read more

Not happy with this business at all. I signed up back in September for 8 classes per month. This was not an unlimited ride membership. I probably completed 4 or 5 rides in the first month and on the second month they let rolled over the remaining classes to the next month. I was happy about this as I didn't have to stress about losing the classes each month. By the second month I lost all remaining classes and they just renewed my 8 that I signed up for. There was also a time where a guest had a medical emergency and the class had to be cancelled, we were told we would get an additional session added to our account and it was never done. 2 times I had to cancel a class because the area is just not easily assessable in rush hour traffic and I not only lost the class, but was charged $10 for what they call a late cancel. I called and expressed my frustration as the class was paid for whether I was there or not, so why bank an additional $10 bucks a cancellation. Finally I requested to cancel my membership because it just wasn't convenient do the Woodland Hills to Sherman Oaks drive, and I was told there was a 30 day notice required. So CycleBar knowing I hadn't gone the prior months classes charged me another month knowing I would not use them. The reason they gave me is that, "this is standard with other types of cycle clubs". I honestly am thinking about taking my experience to the media because I talked to other members who experienced the same thing. Please be careful when signing up! read more

I gotta say, I was very intimidated to try this workout mostly because I'm a runner, so I wasn't sure how my legs were gonna react to this new movement. Lol But CYCLEBAR has the most incredible talented and knowledgeable instructors I've ever seen. Literally everyone's playlists are so unique fun and upbeat it's impossible to not have a good time in that room. The staff is friendly helpful and always smiling, they even remembered my name after just my first class! Talk about customer service! Oh the best part is after each and every class they hand you a cold eucalyptus towel and it just brings the whole experience together! WooHoo, Cyclebar Sherman Oaks is finally open!! We have been waiting for this moment for over a year now. The owner/my friend Dana and her husband Mike have put their hearts and souls into opening this spin studio. I know it wasn't an easy process (lots of struggles and obstacles). not a fan of this studio. be sure to check your contract before signing up. also, the last time I went, my bike didn't work and there were shoes from the previous class left on my bike. I told one of the workers and she proceeded to tell them that wasn't my bike, but it was.... makes you question their cleaning procedures. they also don't have disinfecting wipes available. oh and I got hit with the door exiting a class. overall not a great experience. read more

This is a great cyclebar! Every instructor I've ridden with has been really great. In addition, the staff is very attentive and always open to help out. I almost don't want to write this 5-star review to keep this incredible cycle studio my secret. The place is perfectly immaculate all the time (clean, organized, and smells great). There is free available parking in their private lot, free earplugs, free rubber bands, and free cold, eucalyptus-infused towels (after your workout it's heavenly). They have 6 AM and & 7 AM classes---perfect for those who need to get their workout done before work and the kids dropped off at school. The front desk is SUPER awesome, helpful, and friendly. I've saved the best for last: the instructors totally ROCK! They're super energized, focused, and kind (I say this because many times you need a hero to help you get back to that positive space and they do that here). Oh, and the music is super charged and uplifting. I would totally give the Cycle Bar Sherman Oaks a 10-star rating if I could. I'm so happy I found this total gem! read more
