I am by no means a fitness enthusiast, however when I work out I need something more exciting than a jog on a treadmill or weightlifting. Spinning is one of my favorite workouts at the gym, and was always curious about the spinning studios that you hear about in NYC and LA. I work in Winter Park and when I heard, I was so excited to finally try one out. I signed up for a free class (at 5:30am ugh) and had a total blast. Valentina was our CycleStar and despite me being half awake, I ended up singing and dancing through my first CycleBar class. They make it more of a full body workout which is great. As for the studio, it is beautiful. Super clean and modern and has amenities that you wouldn't expect. I love my CycleBar water bottle and wipes that you can use to freshen up afterwards. All the ladies there are wonderful, and they all seem so pumped to be there. And on my word, I am SO SO sore today. Thanks Val for a great morning, workout. So much energy. Very upscale, boutique like "gym" offering spin classes. The exercise room has lighting effects, the music is wonderful. I hadn't planned on buying the package I did but I know this is a place I'll visit at least once a week. They operate on a pay as you go basis as opposed to a membership. The more classes you buy, the cheaper it is. They have mimosas for "brunch" and wine during their "happy hour" so I'll be back to see what that's about. When I started, I did my first ride free (which is spectacular) and I was definitely nervous walking in. Immediately I felt welcomed and felt like I was part of the family! I felt empowered! I have never wanted to be part of a family more and every day when I walk through the door, no matter if it's 5am or 7pm, I feel welcomed. I'm so addicted, I've brought my boyfriend, and almost all of my friends because I want them to see how great it is. It's an insane workout that makes your challenge yourself but feel so great at the end! This place is like the ritz Carlton of spin studios ! You walk in and everything is immaculate ! You are warmly greeted by a friendly employee who helps you sign in on a tablet . Then you are escorted over to a locker where you tell her your shoe size and she brings you some Velcro spinning shoes . Then you are escorted to your pre selected bike that you preregister on line . The bikes are beautiful and each one has a digital odometer that gives you the rpm distance and resistance level . Then the class starts ! Our instructor was awesome she went from a sweet " this is your ride " to drill Sargent " let's do this " . It was a great workout ! What's cool is at the end you get your cycle stats emailed to you that shows your rank in class , how many calories you burned and the playlist from the class ! It's a great concept and I think I could do one class a week in concurrence with my regular fitness routine at hardcore fitness . The class packages seem a little pricey but they are doing a grand opening special that is 29 dollars for 3 classes ! This would be a fun girls night where you could go workout and then have margaritas at one of the many new restaurants new to the area ! Definitely worth checking out !! read more

I love this place! I'm not in shape (besides round) and I enjoyed every single minute of it. If I can do it, so can you! Just keep in mind that it will kick your behind. :-) I went on my first ride back in November courtesy of my job offering a free class to us. Upon arrival, I was assisted in checking in, finding the correct shoes, having a water bottle given to me (you get to keep it!) and showing me to the locker area. Yes - there are lockers so you can put your stuff away and not worry about it while you're on your ride. I was then directed to my bike and the coach Alie helped me get set up. She was very knowledgeable about setting up the bike so it fit my height as well as helping me get clicked into my bike (the special shoes click into the pedals.) The ride I took that day was a 50 min ride (yes, 50 minutes on my first go!) and it was amazing! Alie guided us through the workouts (not bossed us, just coached) and was consistently encouraging us to go at our own pace, and also motivating us to keep going. Today, I took my second ride. It was another 50 minute ride (complementary for my birthday!) and this ride was coached by Valentina. She was sooo nice. She introduced herself, asked me about my experience with Cycle Bar so far, and made sure I was all good to go on my bike. She was so motivating and always encouraging me and the other riders to improve our posture or speed to get the most from our workout. She did not boss us around. At the end, she checked back in with me to see how I enjoyed my ride. I love that. On top of all of this wonderfulness - the music is GREAT! There's been a mix of classics as well as new stuff that you hear on the radio everyday. It keeps the workout pumped up and enjoyable, especially if you know the songs! I encourage anyone who has not tried Cycle Bar yet to GO TRY IT! There are free 30 minute sessions for you to try it out. It's totally inexpensive afterward as well - 3 rides for $29? I was so excited to hear that Winter Park would be getting a premiere spin studio, and Cyclebar far surpassed my expectations. After my first class with Faith as my instructor, I'm officially hooked! She has such a fun and encouraging style of coaching and her choices of music and techniques keep me motivated as soon as I click into my bike. I have had the opportunity to ride with other instructors - Alicia, Alie, Allison, and Norelle- and absolutely loved each ride I've been on. I always leave with more energy than I came with, a refreshingly tired body, and a smile. The studio is high tech and gorgeous. Cycle bar Winter Park is THE BEST!!! I am literally obsessed with this place! I lift weights about 3 time a week with my boyfriend at the YMCA and also belong to a yoga studio, so I wasn't really looking for anything new, but I heard this place was worth the drive in traffic from downtown and IT TOTALLY IS WORTH IT!! I did the first timer 10 pack and immediately signed up for a recurring 4 pack so I can hit the studio at least once a week...although I think I'm going to be over for this month and I still have two weeks left! The girls (and guys) who work here are so super nice and funny and cool. No one is snobby or like fitness freak types that look at you judgy if you're new or not like the best one in class. The people who come and work out here are also really nice...super great vibes all around. What a great way to burn a sh!t ton of calories, strength build, and meet some new friends! I have spun in many location but this one has been the best experience so far! The staff was so welcoming and the riders felt like they were all one big community. Prior to the ride they greeted me at the door, introduced themselves and gave me spin shoes for the class. They introduced me to the CycleStar who was instructing the class and showed me where my locker was personalized with my name and bike number. Once I was ready to go they provided me with a water bottle and personally fit me to the bike so I could have my best ride. CycleStar Jess was so full of energy and made me comfortable since I wasn't able to stand in designated times she provided alternate ways to get the workout in and challenge myself from a seated position. After my great class they really provided premium service waiting at the door with fresh cold towels with essential oils! Awesome!! Everyone was so sweet and I will for sure be back again! Attended a private "friends and family" ride at this brand new location. First, this facility is gorgeous and the staff were super nice. You sign in to your class (if you're already signed up) on a tablet and if you need shoes they have them available. Towels are provided as well as a place to fill your water bottle. What a workout!! So I haven't worked out since I had my knee surgery and I was told by my doc that cycling would help my recovery. So glad that my first shot at that was at a CycleBar class with Val. Her class was amazing--tailored to all levels, but what got me was how motivated I felt during and even after. Everyone is so friendly and inspiring, couldn't have had a better experience. This was so fun! I wasn't sure I would like it because I'm not really "in to cycling". But it was great! I went to the intro class, which is a must in my opinion, if you're new to indoor cycling. Everyone was really nice and helpful. I signed up for 10 classes (they're offering a new client discount, so check that out). This place rocks! Central Florida needed a place dedicated to spinning only! The studio is nicely done with surround sound and tv screens; they didn't skip a beat on the details: Free lockers, spinning rental shoes, bobby pins, water (room temperature and chilled), water bottle, fruits ( before workout and post workout - in case you didn't get to snack). I also loved that your shoes clicked into the bikes so your feet aren't wiggling all over the place. The class was a blast! We did everything; from warm up, to speeding, resistance, and also upper body with light weights. I also loved the stretching at the end of the class. This is definitely worth checking out. Obsessed with this place. I was so nervous for my first class, but within the first minute on the bike I was SMILING. I am not a big cardio/conditioning fan, but I was so frickin happy to be there. The instructors make you feel empowered, they make you feel like you can go way past the limits you walked in there having. I could write a novel about how incredible this place is, but here's the cliffnotes version. I was looking for a way to improve my energy and physical and mental health. I found all that and so so so much more here. Even if you're shy and start out in the back corner of the room, you are truly cared about by everyone here. The entire staff is contagiously energetic and positive. Every one of my bad days got better after a ride. It's an unbelievable workout, but it's one you look forward to every time. I rode 4-6 times a week for 8 months until I had to move out of state. In that time my body and mind changed immeasurably for the better and I was so sad to have to leave. read more

100% excellent Candy pushes you and motivates you! It hurts sooo good! If you want to sit down alot and ride this ain't the class. I feel like I'm at the club when I'm in that environment. Only ever heard amazing things about this studio and they were all true. Having the opportunity to ride here really reminds me why I love to spin! The instructor was a ball of energy and kept the whole class in the zone to work at their own pace. They give you free water bottles when it's your first time riding and spin shoes to clip into the bike and spent time to make sure the bike was set to me. The cold towel at the end was a great touch!
