Was a bit intimidated when I walked in, since most of the bikes were higher end mountain bikes, or e-bikes. However, Jake at the service desk, was extremely professional, likeable, and treated my old girl like she was just as important as the other bikes in the shop. They even helped me load the bike back into my car. Highly recommend them for their excellent customer service, reasonable prices, and product knowledge. Will definitely be back!

It was a double birthday celebration for myself and my girlfriend and also our third anniversary so I want to do something that we both love. She loves outdoor, I love mountain biking. Dave picked us up on his new shuttle bus from the bike store. He was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us a guided tour around the town as he driving up to our drop off point. The drive was about an hour long and very scenic. Dave was very friendly and funny. Dave gave us a printed map of the trail and gave us pointers for our ride down back to our car at the bike store. The ride down was gorgeous. It was our first time riding through the Redwood forest and it was magnificent. Unfortunately, one of my pedal broke off about 1 mile into the trail. Uphill was a struggle since I had to walk my bike, but coasting down was so much fun. I will definitely plan another trip to ride the Redwood forest again, this time with more people and hopefully no equipment malfunction

We live in a very mountain bike, happy town here and one of the places that will fix your bike after you wreck it by bombing down Wilder through postboxes and Engleman's loop is a center cycling. They are often backlogged because people wreck the ride and drop them off here. In my experience as of summer 2025 it was about a 10 day wait to get the bike back but my repairs for damaged brakes was under $100 and that seemed reasonable. We also have a sister store over near Ni Marks, which is another great bicycling area the demonstration Forest.

Omg! Life savers for sure! I was scheduled to complete in the Surf City Half Ironman on Nov. 2nd and i was traveling from Colorado. I had signed up for the race to honor my mothers passing. It was her one year anniversary and her name was "Cruz" so this race meant the world to me. We had shipped our bikes and I found my wheel base had been compromised (Shipping damage) just a mere hours before the race. Bike shops were closed, and there was no way to fix it in time. I remembered I had reached out to Cyclepath about possibly renting a bike a few months prior so as a long shot I text (about 1030pm) super late. Explained the situation and actually got a response and a commitment to have the bike waiting that morning on the boardwalk for me. They totally pulled through and i was able to participate in this event I had trained months for. The Bike was like new, service was excellent, and employees were so trusting and kind. The mountain biking was absolutely amazing, but it was made even more so by the helpfulness and local trail knowledge of Tony, my guide at Cyclepath Outfitters, and the good quality of the full suspension trail bike I rode. They were very willing to adjust the tours to my schedule and my hotel location in Santa Cruz. They even took a detour to show me nice restaurants and how to get around on my own downtown and in the bay area. We rode different trails for three long day rides so the whole experience was very varied and perfectly tuned to my skill level and speed (good technical riding, lazy climber), and it seemed the options were nowhere near exhausted when I had to leave. Cannot recommend highly enough. Personal custom tours, good quality trail bikes and an excellent bay area vibe made for a perfect experience. read more

If you are looking for an absolute stellar MTB riding experience, this is the Tour to take! My tour included Henry Cowell Redwoods and Wilder Ranch in beautiful Santa Cruz. Not only was my Guide Patrick awesome to ride with, the areas we explored demonstrated his extensive knowledge and expertise of the area and was none less than first rate! Yelp needs more stars for Tony! Tony and his crew took my mate and I out for some awesome enduro / CC riding in the hills above Aptos. We are from Australia, and found it easy from go to woe. Other providers in the area were narky and hard to engage or get a clear idea of cost, equipment. Tony made it all easy, flexible and WOW the bikes we rode were top notch and in great nick. Helped me and my friends out of kindness. I had a loose spoke, and a friend was low on water, and the Cyclepath van happened to drive by. The driver stopped and offered to help. He got out his toolkit and I worked on the spoke. Then he offered my friend all the water he could pack. So the driver is kind to all cyclists. read more
