    A2 - Egg Roll - Cha Gio

We enjoyed our time here. Second time my bf has come here and really enjoys the mixed meat fried rice. I thought it was pretty tasty as well. The egg rolls were good. My vege tofu broth lacked a little flavor but after adding some hot sauce it was better. Usually that's the issue with vege tofu so it's not out of the norm for any vege pho I get anywhere. I love the amount of veges and the variety they put. If I could get the vege pho with chicken broth I bet it would be yummy. We arrived on a Saturday at 730pm. We were sat right away. It seems popular there's a constant flow of people but not packed. Easy parking. Simple, clean aesthetic. Service was fine, not warm, nice enough. He was busy. There's an error online with their Saturday hours. They are actually opened until 830PM I confirmed with the server. Definitely interested to come back

Nice Vietnamese Gem tucked away a small strip mall. Really expansive menu, includes some great Shara le dishes like clay pot catfish, spare ribs, and banh khot, which is really uncommon as most places usually just have pho and banh mi. The cook that brings your order to you seems quite pleased with his work, bringing it out with a smile on his face. Prices are reasonable.

Quick and friendly service in the afternoon. Decor is okay maybe a little touch up paint The food is what we were there for and it had been many years (15+) but hey was still what we remember and really good.

Such a fantastic gem with delicious and authentic Vietnamese food. A group of us came here when there was a lunch rush but we didn't wait too long before being seated. It is a small restaurant but don't let that fool you. Their assortments of delicious food options are plenty. I ordered their bun bo hue and I'm totally shocked by how flavorful it was. It totally reminds me of my mother's. My husband ordered the crispy noodle dish and absolutely loved it. They don't skimp on the protein. The salted plum drink was also a perfect addition to the meal. I will definitely return for the bun bo hue.

I had Pho Dac Biet (All) and Melvin had Bun Cha Hanoi.. the portions are big and we have eaten here before but with the new owner the flavors are much better and taste closer to what I have in Vietnam.

1/24/26: It was good, but I would not return -- only because I am extremely finnicky about my food. I hate any type of seafood, cannot stomach onions or peppers, despise almost any kind of vegetable (except corn & taters). Why did I try Cyclo then? I tagged along with my sister & her co-workers. I saw a few things on the menu that looked like it was something I could eat without too much trouble. I failed to take a picture of the Mongolian beef that I ordered, but it was inundated with onions. That's the weird thing: I don't mind the flavor they add to the dish, I simply do not want to eat them. The but the beef was very good (well seasoned) ... but it took me a long time to remove the onions. I should have ordered the sweet & sour chicken. The restaurant is small and the bathroom needs some repair. There was a large towel around the bowl (clearly soaking up leaking water) and I had to flush it three times. They had a decent crowd so obviously many people enjoy their food.

All time favorite Vietnamese spot! It's a little hole in the wall place but oh so good!

Came for lunch on a weekday. Place is cute and cozy. Decent busy lunch hours. A littld wait for the food. Love me some hot hot soup in this weather. I enjoyed the Bun Bo Hue so much! So flavorful with alot of meat and tendon. I tried hubby's pho too. The broth is a on the sweeter side. The appetizers actually came after the noodle soup but we didn't care..

It's been years since I've been back to Cyclo. We had dinner here today and my family enjoyed the meal. It was a rainy day so we craved for some pho. The service is super fast and the servers are so nice. The steak/brisket pho was so soothing and delicious. They give you so much food that you would likely take home left overs. Ambiance feels like a local mom and pop Vietnamese restaurant. Pricing is cheap too.

I haven't been to Cyclo in years but recently stopped in and loved it! The garlic green bean appetizer was so tasty and we also ordered the special fried rice to share. My husband got a grilled pork banh mi and loved it, and I ordered the brisket/steak pho. The banh mi bread was excellent and it was a decent size for the price. I enjoyed the pho and they didn't skimp out on the basil/bean sprouts/jalapeños on the side. The broth was flavorful and not too sweet. The prices were overall on par for the area. Lastly, the complimentary dessert was such a nice and yummy touch! We will definitely be back

First time and went with a friend who has been here before. Small space with about 10-22 tables...noticed they do a lot of takeout. Fairly large menu with tons of options. Wife and friend ordered the Seafood Pho and I got the Vermicelli with tofu and veggies. We also ordered the Cyclo appetizer platter which was perfect for two. Choices included their spring rolls, Rangoon, rocket shrimp, and fried dumplings. This platter was pretty good and came with three different dipping sauces including peanut sauce sweet chili sauce and a lightly spicy vinegar sauce. The peanut sauce missed the mark for me only because it didn't have that strong peanut flavor. The spring roll was as really good and fresh and had the addition of a mint leave in it. I didn't care for the Vermicelli dish...it was lacking flavor and sauce and the tofu was really overcooked for me. The other two enjoyed their Pho but there were some chewy squid in it which wife didn't care for. I tasted the broth and feel like it wasn't as flavorful as we've had at other places. Service was great and food is fresh.

Update!! I went in person this time. Food was ready right away. Lunch for one. Small cozy place. Family owned. Cute and simple decorations. The TV was playing music videos like old Mariah Carey, Madonna and Whitney Houston! It was entertaining. The family was friendly! Very flavorful as my first order. I will be returning!!!

The Mongolian beef- bo Mông Cổ and Grilled beef and eggrolls vermicelli- bun Bo nuog cha gio were both great choices. The Mongolian beef was juicy & tasty. The bun combination of grilled beef & eggrolls were refreshing and delicious. Definitely recommend both dishes.

Music is always on pointe and I would never change the look or ambiance of the place either. My last trip here though I had to ask about why the menu had stopped changing as often since we were one of two parties there in the middle of happy hour and there was a large framed picture of a bartender with a bunch of signed notes on the bottom of it beside me at the bar. It turns out that one of the oldest curators and bartenders of the bar and restaurant had passed from a drunk driving incident and I had not known at all! Gosh I was so disappointed in myself that I had ever complained about not having a new menu to try after that...but at the same time it was amazing to hear so many great anecdotes and to learn so much more about him and the history of the bar itself while dining this time. I had a lot of fun times at this bar - including remembering the first time I met that bartender and sharing that memory with the staff that told me their story. They also shared that they would be coming out with a new menu very soon and some of the new items and ideas that would be rolling out so I am also very excited to go back! New food menu tomorrow too?! What?! I was almost tempted to back today to get more of their amazing dishes from the main menu!! Thank you Cat for the amazing hospitality! We ordered the Beef & Chicken BBQ Plate, Nishikawa Black Ramen, Curry Ramen, Chicken Katsu Curry, and a Musubi. Every single dish was fantastic. The flavors were rich, portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. One thing that really stood out was the customer service. The staff was incredibly friendly and even let me sample the Tonkotsu ramen broth after we ordered. After trying it, I honestly wish I had ordered that ramen--it was outstanding! The restaurant itself was also impressive. The dining area was open, clean, and inviting, making for a very comfortable experience. My only criticism would be the pork chashu. While it was tender, it was a bit plain and could use more seasoning or flavor to match the rest of the dishes, which were excellent. Overall, this was a great experience from start to finish. Between the delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, and friendly staff, Hawaiian BBQ Nishikawa Ramen has definitely earned a spot on our regular restaurant rotation. Highly recommended!
