Went for lunch and tried the appetizer sampler and the Mandarin Tofu Stir Fry. Everyone there was super nice, attentive, and the food came out extremely fast. It's a hearty hot meal for anyone looking for a quick bite. I thought the appetizer sampler was a good deal if that's what you're looking for. I thought everything was a bit bland for me. The stir fry was full of bright and tasty veggies. It's rare to find a restaurant that still sells fried tofu dishes at a reasonable price. I tried a bite of the mongolian beef and did not like it. I would not recommend it because it was extremely sweet. It was almost like syrup. And there was no spice whatsoever. Have always been hesitant to eat here since I'm never quite sure how good the Chinese food really is, as a Chinese person myself. We got the green curry, the Tott's signature noodles, and the salt and pepper shrimp. I think if I've never had Chinese food in my life, I'd think everything is good... but alas. The noodles were my favourite, but lacked a lot of flavour. It was a little dry as well. The curry was okay, but again, lacked flavour. The shrimp, you guessed it, lacked flavour. It is not a traditional salt and pepper shrimp at all, more of a popcorn shrimp. I recommend going to Asian Cafe Express for your Chinese food fix. I do not think I would come back sadly. read more

We moved out of Chandler and still order from Tott's because it's that good! We ordered the Orange Chicken with chow mein, Malaysian fried rice, and cheese puffs, and everything was fresh and delicious. The Orange Chicken is hands down the best we've ever had--perfectly crispy with an amazing sauce. If you're debating where to get Chinese food, this place is absolutely worth it! Service is fast. Stopped in as I wanted some quick Chinese food and that's exactly what I got. The inside was very clean and the staff were super nice! I ordered the orange chicken, spring roll, crab rangoon and gyoza. I didn't like that the orange chicken wasn't crispy. The sauce was typical but good. The gyoza was super doughy. I didn't care for them as I like a thin dough. The crab Rangoon was really good. I enjoyed those. The food was good, just not good enough for me to return. read more

Let me tell you about Tott's (Talk of The Town) Asian Diner. A friend mentioned this place a while ago, so when I finally spotted it while running errands, I thought, "Why not?" It was lunchtime, I was hungry, and it was time to see what all the fuss was about. I walked in and got a friendly hello right away, which is always a good start. My game plan was to order enough for tonight and tomorrow's lunch because, let's be real, leftovers are life - especially when you're single. I always test a new Chinese place by their Kung Pao Chicken (it's like the unofficial litmus test - if they can do Kung Pao right, we're in good hands). I asked the guy behind the counter how spicy they make it, and he said, "Medium, like a 3 out of 5." Perfect. I ordered that and an Orange Chicken because, well, why not? While waiting, he offered me a glass of water - solid customer service! The order was completed quickly and I was headed home in no time. Let me tell you, my car smelled so good! For dinner, I dug into the Kung Pao Chicken. Perfection! The spice level was exactly right. The level 3 spiciness was spot on. I believe there's a fine line between spiciness and still being able to enjoy the flavor. I may be adventurous next time and get level 4 to see if I can fine that line. Tons of veggies, awesome flavor, and all-around deliciousness. I tried to save the Orange Chicken for the next day, but... I'm weak. Had to sneak a bite. Worth it! Everything was spot-on, and the portion sizes were pretty standard, so you're not leaving hungry. The place was spotless inside, super friendly staff, and seriously tasty food. The Mandarin Stir fry with chicken was delicious, its gravy doesn't have much flavor though so, I spiced it up with spicy oil & mustard. The chicken was all white meat, which I appreciated. The manager was thanking everyone for coming. We kept coming back and we still go now. Just wanted to give them a great thumbs up and recommend them highly. Today was my first visit. I had the Singapore Noodles house style (chicken, beef, and shrimp). It was packed with flavor and proteins. It came out piping hot and fresh. The portion size was very impressive. I was completely full for lunch and had plenty to take as a snack later in the day. I also had a Diet Pepsi, which was not the best I've ever had, but that will just help me to make a better choice on my next visit and stick with water. I look forward to trying other things on the menu. The service was helpful and friendly. The place was very clean and inviting. Great customer service! I screwed up and ordered Singapore Noodles which ended up being so spicy I couldn't enjoy it! After feeling embarrassed I approached the counter and apologized but the dish was just too spicy for me to ear. They cheerfully made another dish for me at no cost and even offered to let me take the other dish home which I declined. There was no judgement or irritation towards me, just making it right for me! My go-to Chinese spot in AZ. I have always had great experiences and the food has, more or less, been consistent. Consistency is a big issue with food spots in this metro area (hours not adhered to, food textures all over the place, rampant turn-over of employees, etc.). Some reviews point out that they've had issues in this area but I never experienced that here. Perhaps it's because I always request my food to be well-done? And I NEVERRRRRRRRR order take-out with south asian (chinese, indian, etc) food. If I can't have my food right there and then its not happening. The honey seared chicken is to die for.
