I think the name of the lady that did my nails, is Teresa. She was very sweet and very patient. I used to get my nails done years ago, but I stopped because everywhere I went they would cut the sides of my fingers. It's been 9 years and I wanted to give it a try at this location. I was a customer back when Ann owned the shop, and though I was nervous when a new buyer came in, Julie has gone above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. I come in every two weeks on the dot for my dip refill. The staff is always welcoming and accommodating. I would recommend calling before coming in to see if there's a wait. I usually call once I get close to the Townsen exit on 59 on my way home from work. read more

I made an appointment at 11 am went to my appointment on time had to wait for 30 minutes for her to finish another client after she started taking the acrylic off my nails then wrapped three of my nails and told me I had to wait in another chair than started to wrap another lady's nails. I waited for another 20 minutes finally she finished wrapping the other lady's nails and setting her up in a pedicure bath and then started to work on my nails again, she cut into my real nail and said she needed to remove it because it was damaged and even made me bleed. I left and did not let her put a new set on my nails and would never return to this nail salon again. I was very upset leaving because my nails look horrible and the finger that she cut hurts. Be aware, the first time I visited I got a manicure and a pedi. The pedi was $25, the next time I went I only got a pedi. the young lady held a brochure folded in her hand that showed two prices for pedi. $35 and $40. I thought about it once I left but did not say anything, a few days later someone told me about their experience and the same thing happened to them. Now maybe this was an accident that she did not show the $25 price, but I do not like to feel like I am being taken for granted or for stupid. I will not go back read more

Not happy with my first experience here. The young man that did my basic manicure cut my finger. But instead of wiping it off, he let it bleed and paint on top of it. I will give it another try with someone else next time. They were nice though. read more

Cyndy's is a great place to get my nails done. After being referred there by my mom, I came in with very jacked up nails and the techs didn't say a word. I had my pedi done first then had a pink and white full set added afterwards. The location and the salon itself was very nice. The massage chairs are immediately cleaned with Clorox antibacterial wipes after each use. Everything was all done within an hour and half which was awesome since there were other people in there getting ready for the weekend and graduation. I'll definitely be back. read more

First time and NEVER again. Male tech did my refill, awful. Crooked, caked up refill under my nails. His hands were dirty and he was rough. He was rude when I asked about a nail being obviously crooked. Overall shop seemed old and run down. Will never be going back again. read more

My sister and I went on Saturday. Asked how long the wait was - got the usual 5 minutes (seems standard in most nail salons). After waiting only about 10 minutes, we were seated into spa chairs. We soaked (in water only) for about 15 minutes. My sister's pedicure was then started. No one asked what kind of pedicure or what lotion scent. After about 45 minutes, my pedicure got started. I had shellac on my toes so that was another 10 minute wait to soak that off. Had they listened to me that could have already been done. My sister's pedicure was mediocre at best. Her nails are going all sorts of directions and one is wayyyy to short! Do they not know how to cut toe nails? She was finished before my pedicure really started. My pedicure was just bad. Seemed to be an effort to perform! No massaging just the bare minimum. Not what I wanted on a cold and rainy day! In general, the salon is very small and there are too many spa chairs for the small aisle of the salon. Seems the nail techs were stepping over each other. I won't be back - too many other salons to go to. This on was just so very convenient to my home that I was hoping it would be good. read more

My mom and I were walk ins and we were seen right away for solar nails. They are a small shop so I would make an appointment before heading out just to be sure, especially if you're with two or three people.The pedicure wither the hot stone massage was heavenly. I have been to Cindy's Nail twice now. I have been to a hand full of nail salons in the Kingwood area, and this shop is by far my favorite. I have gotten acrylic nails, dip nails, and a pedicure here. They were very detail-oriented and took their time on all services. The employees are very friendly and do a great job making sure you have everything they need. Their prices are fair, and they frequently give discounts! I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone nor will I be back. I went in today 7/29/16 for the very first time & I left beyond disappointed. The guy who was working on my nails took breaks in between doing mine to tend to someone else, he left lots of polish on my nails even after buffing out my nails & just began refilling my nails with all the excess color still there, when he began shaping them I had to explain multiple times how I wanted it & when he got frustrated because he didn't know what the heck he was doing he asked if I wanted to file my own nails... It was at that point I told him to leave my nails alone & I will go somewhere else. There was also so much acrylic stuck under my nails and on my skin. He was also very rude. The customer service was so poor. On top of my horrible experience he had the audacity to charge be $20 for a terrible job. Do not waste your time or money here!!!! read more

Terrible! My first impression was god awful. Located right behind Los Cucos in the big shopping center. This older man did my nails. Very rough!! He squeezed each finger so hard during grinding process I thought he was going to break my fingers. His hands were so dirty and his nails were disgusting. Made me sick to look at him. I wanted to get my keys and credit card out of my purse before he did the clear polish, he told me NO!!! Very rude and unprofessional. NEVER AGAIN! read more

!!! AVOID - AVOID - AVOID !!! The Male nail tech (LONG) absolutely destroyed my nails. He hurt me, cut my skin and has no idea what even nails are. God forbid you try to tell him what you want and show that you are not happy ... he gets very aggressive and has a major attitude. He was super pissed when I didn't give him a tip ... hummm, you think I'm going to tip you after you get pissy when asking you to do my nails like I want and you hurt me? I think not. Your lucky I even paid. My fingers are hurting and they are a FAR CRY from what I wanted !!! The female nail techs as well as Long were rushing me to pick my color. They were too busy laughing at either myself or each other, not sure, but I was very uncomfortable ... I should have walked out right then and there !!! What the heck is up with these nail salons not speaking English for heavens sake. That is my biggest pet peeve. Only gave them 1 star because I couldn't post without giving a star rating. read more

I have been coming here for about a year. I will not be returning. I really like Mary & they had a tech named Lynn (who quit or got fired due to the owners being completely ridiculous, I know this because my mom was in the salon when the drama happened). I am not a fan of the owners, the couple, man & wife. This last visit, I was in there for 2 hours because they kept leaving me to do someone else and are just plain rude. Finally when the man came to do my nails he asked me to get off my phone, yet I had been waiting for them to come back to me. I found that extremely rude & unprofessional. They also ask for the tip to be added, which is fine, but they have asked me for payment before they were done, but then they are so crappy after I give them their tip. Lastly, I told her a tip, and she doubled it, ASSUMING I meant for each tech that amount. Which I did not. I liked this place when Lynn was there, will not be returning!!! read more
