My first time ever getting lip filler in my life and at Cynthetic Medi! I was SO nervous walking in, but the entire experience was amazing from start to finish. The two ladies at the front desk greeted me warmly, helped me get my paperwork done quickly, and got me back right away to start numbing cream so it had time to fully kick in, which was very appreciated for a first-timer!!! I have an M shaped lip which I know can be more challenging, and they were both caring and tactical as to the amount of filler they administered to me, keeping my natural shape while also enhancing the plumpness and giving me a refresh. My nurse injectors, Cynthia and Alithea, were incredible. They made me feel so comfortable the whole time by offering stress balls and giving me countdowns and little heads-ups before every injection so nothing felt unexpected. They even let my boyfriend stay in the room for emotional support, although I think I ended up holding Cynthia's hand more than his Thank you ladies for being so professional, caring, patient, and reassuring throughout the whole process. I am TERRIFIED of needles so going to get a liquid nose job was a huge hurdle for me. I like my face to look engineered by God, meaning natural and hard to detect any "work". That's just my personal aesthetic from childhood looking at beautiful faces with unique features that reflect their heritage and ethnicity. So this trend to look artificial is not my jam. I stopped going to Cynthia because my services kept being changed without my approval. For background I started going to Cynthia about a year ago or more and I started with Botox. I loved those results so I booked a PRP injection only appointment. This is where things go downhill. The day of the appointment she changed my services to micro needling with PRP. I'm getting numb thinking we're still doing just the injections. She never discusses with me if I want to do micro needling. Once I realized what was going on I thought I booked the wrong thing and didn't say anything. I checked my appointment after I leave and I had booked the correct thing. At this point I should have stopped going to her. I didn't like the results of the micro needling and had to get a chemical peel to fix some of the scarring. I booked another appointment for half the syringe for lip filler. Think the micro needling was a misunderstanding. The day of the appointment she does a full syringe without asking me if I was okay with that. I don't find out she changed it till I go to pay. The results after that were my top filler migrated, and I tried scheduling a lip filler dissolve appointment the next week. She cancel the appointment cause it was too soon but kept my deposit. I'm still dealing with the lip filler migration and will be getting it dissolve else where. To me changing a person services without consulting with them is unacceptable and unprofessional. And I'm the one dealing with the consequences of her actions. read more
