He also said email is best way to reach him but my only communication with him previous was by phone and text to me. I replied to his email asking for the CEO to reach out to me to assure me this was not normal for the company as we did like their design. We used Cypress Custom Pools for our new pool, patio, & added decking. They did an amazing job and have handled some recent warranty work VERY QUICKLY and complete. Communication was good throughout, they designed WHAT WE WANTED, and other than a HOA delay, they were on or ahead of schedule. Highly recommend! The old saying of you get what you pay for it's absolutely true for Cypress Custom Pools. They are not the least expensive pool construction company around, but I definitely believe they are the best. Over the last 10 years I have used them twice to install a pool. That alone should say something. I wouldn't spend that much money with the same company twice if I didn't believe in their product. This is our third pool to put in. The first one was with another company that was just okay. As I mentioned I have used this company twice since 2007 and would do it a third time too. Their attention to detail, use of quality material, and focus on the customer is beyond outstanding. Their customer service is some of the best I have ever experienced. (and I know exceptional customer service, because I make my living improving customer service) On several occasion they have helped me out on things that should have been outside of normal service or warranty. Most recently I was having a problem and it was 3:30 PM on a Friday before a holiday. Brian, the owner took the time to call me while he was driving between Austin and Houston and walk me through the steps I need to take to resolve the problem. He then followed up with me again later that night to make sure that everything was working. In summary, I will always recommend this company to anyone needing a pool construction company! read more

Called for a pool quote in June 2021. Understand pool companies are in high demand. Receptionist said someone would call me but after a week, no one did. Emailed and asked to get a call back for pricing again one week later. She responded and we set up a walk thru of my space. She came out and measured and I explained what I wanted, freeform, etc. She said she'd get with me by Monday. With no response by Thursday, I emailed her and asked for quote details. She responded that she already sent it but would send again. Got it immediately then (so never originally sent). No price was included. I emailed her back and asked for price. She said they don't give over the phone or on email pricing which I thought was odd since everyone else does. She said she could set up another appointment the following week. I replied and said we were already 4 weeks into this and we'd like to make a decision by the weekend and we'd like to put them in the running. Not only did I not get a reply but I didn't get any further replies for the following week. Clearly, they didn't need my cash purchase. read more

Our pool (backyard oasis) was just completed by CCP and we could not be happier. The whole process went very smoothly. Brian came out and listened to what we wanted, Leanna created the 3D and the project began. Joe, our Project Manager, did a FANTASTIC job of keeping us informed on what was happening and when it was going to happen. The crews that they used were all very good, hard working and cleaned up afterwards. Leanna listened to my wife during the plaster and waterline tile selections so that my wife got the results that she wanted. Kyle came out to do the "pool school" and could not have been better at taking time to explain everything. The backyard oasis is everything that we wanted. This team did a fantastic job. The pool dig was February 21st and on April 11 was pool school. Could have been faster except we went out of town the week that would have been the plaster so they couldn't work that week. read more

We built our pool concurrently with our new home build. We decided on Cypress Custom Pools due to the customer experience that we had when initiating discussions with pool companies. When inquiring about putting in a pool, I realized quickly through conversations with friends that there were some sketchy companies out there. Cypress was great to work with through the entire build process. LeAnna is phenomenal at her job and stayed in contact with us during the whole process. She met me at the house several times to ensure I was satisfied with what was happening. LeAnna even changed our entire pool design at the last minute, a few days before digging, because I did not like how the first design was going to look in my backyard after it had been mapped out in the yard. This was not a fault of Cypress, but rather my personal preference. The new design looked great, and we couldn't be happier with our finished product. LeAnna was very responsive and communicated with me at all hours of the day and night as needed. It was greatly appreciated. The customer service is unrivaled. The owner (Brian) was out at my pool one day, and I happened to stop in. Great guy! I was showing him stuff that the builders were working on correcting on the outside of the home, and he offered to come back every few days to check on progress because I had told him I was traveling for a couple of days. Nothing had to do with the pool, but him offering to do that for me was above and beyond my expectations. Kyle ensured the pool was taken care of before our closing and came back to educate us on the pool once we closed on the house. Kyle was very informative and supportive during the whole process. AJ our Pool Project Coordinator was another awesome guy to work with during the construction. Very open, honest, and takes his job seriously with a lot of pride. Hard to find that nowadays. I was walking through Lowes the other day, and AJ saw me (I didn't see him). He could have easily kept going about his business but made it a point to call me out to say hi. And he, of course, offered his assistance if I ever needed anything with the pool. Great Company that left me with a great experience and I honestly feel like I walked away with new friends. We could not be happier with our pool and with our experience with Cypress Custom Pools. This is the second time we have built a pool. Our first experience was with another company and comparing that experience to our experience with CCP is night and day. CCP did a phenomenal job! Lauren was our designer and she was fantastic. She has such good vision and a good eye, she asked all of the right questions and listened carefully to what we were looking for, and she designed our perfect pool. She went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with not only the design of the pool, but the colors for the tile, coping, decking, etc. and all of the other small details. She gave great recommendations and advice and the end result is exactly what we wanted. A.J was our project manager, and from excavation to completion we were thrilled. A.J.'s communication was perfect. He checked in with us regularly and came to inspect the progress multiple times on absolutely every phase of the project and was always there if we had any questions. He really kept whole process moving quickly and efficiently and truly made it so easy on us. We couldn't have asked for a better project manager. We were also so happy with all of the crews/ subcontractors that CCP uses. Each and every one did a great job, stayed on schedule (ahead of schedule actually), always cleaned up when they finished, and even worked with us to put up a temporary fence every single day to keep our dogs safe and away from the construction site. As I mentioned, this was not our first time building a pool, but it was a FAR superior experience and we will always recommend this company to anyone looking for a pool construction company. Cypress Pools provided great 3D designs but were very poor at meeting delivery dates and responding to concerns. Without fail the timing I was told for a design to be provided ended up being 3 - 7 days late. When asked about the delays the answer was always we have a lot of construction kicking off and it will get better. Finally after about 3 months I email and called trying to discuss our concerns with the delays and they never reach back out to discuss. At this point we told them we were going to talk to other pool builders and that's when they finally emailed us back. Their response basically told us it was our fault because we asked for to many revisions to the design. For a $100k+ pool I should be able to revise the design until I'm completely happy with it!! They went on to say that they had stop working on the design because they didn't think we could afford the design even though we hadn't even been provided a cost estimate. Cypress Custom Pools seems to design great pools but unfortunately I didn't get that far with them. If you know exactly what you want or have a straight forward design you will probably will have a great experience but if you will need help figuring out what you like or a difficult design situation works I suggest going elsewhere. read more
