A harmful experience for my 80 years old mom- Before signing the initial contract, the clinic used a computer screen to present pricing and represented that surgery, a healing/temporary denture, and related services would cost approximately $12,000, with a future fixed implant option priced at approximately $30,000 (total approximately $42,000). We were later informed that financing for the full $42,000 was not approved. The clinic reduced the plan to approximately $12,000 so treatment could proceed. Based on this representation, the $12,000 contract was signed. Surgery was performed; however, the healing/temporary denture was not provided at the time of surgery, despite prior representations that it would be placed the same day. After surgery, the clinic withheld the healing denture and stated it would only be provided after I signed a new or expanded contract. I was then informed the fixed implant price increased from approximately $30,000 to approximately $70,000. When I stated this was unaffordable, a $30,000 removable denture was proposed instead. I refused to sign any new contract. No permanent denture or implant treatment was authorized or accepted. Dr Erian is very nice, but the office staff leave a lot to be desired. They make you pay the total cost up front rather than determining what insurance will pay and charging you the difference. I had been a patient at this dental office for a couple of years and almost every experience has been a fight for me. I will never return because I'm tired of the problems I continue to have to this day. They overcharged me every time I went to the dentist and sent big bills well after treatment. They oversell deep cleanings and a couple of the dentists were rude and abrasive to me. I got a very costly implant and went back to complain 3 times that it was still sore and difficult to chew on. The dentist blamed me! She said that if I were wearing a night guard regularly, I wouldn't have problems. I assured her that the implant I got from another dentist never gave me trouble. She proceeded to lecture me and said that if patients don't follow her instructions, she has been known to refuse to treat them. I was furious! I have not kept up with my cleanings that I pay an insurance plan for because the hygienist refuses to gracefully do the twice yearly "free" cleanings and pushes a deep cleaning at tremendous cost! If I can do zero stars I would. This review is long overdue. I visited the above in April of last year. I left there traumatized and the worst experience I have ever had. My previous dentist was no longer in my plan, so I had to venture out which left me with anxiety. If you want to pay more money and have work done that is not needed, then this is the place to go. I've never discussed my x-rays in the very beginning. Usually, you get your x-rays done and then your hygienist begins your cleaning. I felt like I was in a sales office. My x-rays were reviewed first then the business manager came in to discuss my treatment plan along with cost. I knew I would need a couple of root canals. But they tried to tell me I needed a deep cleaning. I knew better because I've had one many years ago and my gums were healthy and not bleeding. They said I know this is overwhelming. You think? After being there an hour I asked when they will start my cleaning. Well, Shahla Mousavi, DDS got an attitude because I didn't agree to the treatment plan. She proceeds to clean my teeth the Dentist not the hygienist. It took her all but 5 minutes. It was the worse cleaning I ever had or didn't have. I've since found a great dentist. I do need 2 root canals which I already knew. I didn't need a deep cleaning. The hygienist said I had very clean teeth before she got started. Do not go here!! Dr. Price was very cruel to me and lacked compassion. I strongly believe it was because I am a black woman. He treated me poorly because I couldn't change my appointment time at the last minute. I had meetings that I couldn't change for work. The receptionist had trouble getting the mold for my upper jaw, which I didn't mind. But the dentist ended up canceling my surgery and the soonest I could reschedule was 2 weeks from now. I have already been in horrible pain for a week. When I expressed frustration, he called me "combative", which is a racial slight. A doctor should know bettet that this and he needs cultural training. I never even raised my voice, I was just disappointed and in excruciating pain. I will never come back here, I am very saddened by the way I was treated. The lady that worked there told me I needed a deep Cleaning costing $400+ and I stated that I was going to think about it. She then proceeded to ask me what I do for a living, I told her and she said well you should she able to afford it with the Career you have .MAJOR RED FLAG right there...I went to another dentist 3 months later and they did not suggest this treatment. While waiting, a staff member was talking and laughing very loudly nearby. I waited and listened to what can only be described as "shrieking, bantering, and carrying on" for about 25 minutes. I ended up leaving. The wait was way too long and having to listen to incessant unprofessional chatter while I was too much. I called to get my x-rays so I can go to another dentist. When we arrived we weren't greeted, then the front desk staff said they didn't have his appointment (but they had mine the following day- which I booked at the same time a month before), then said they cancelled his appointment and didn't provide an explanation. I always received their emails to remind me about the appointment even though I didn't made those appointments, if I asked them, they said they have no idea. During the Covid-19, they moved my schedule for orthodontist which was fine, then when ai showed up for my appointment, the front desk lady was like we didn't called any patients because we dont know when they reopen. Witch made me extremely happy knowing I would be able to afford braces for my son. Hey yelpers, this dentistry is Fantastic. Before this visit, it's been years since I've been to the dentist. I don't have a normal schedule at all. It was great, they got me in the next morning when I called them up. Great helpful staff all around. You have the option to fill out patient information online before your visit. Saves plenty of time. I waited no more then 10 minutes when I arrived. As you can see from the photos, it's a very clean and calming waiting room. The tv in the patient room was a nice plus. I had a lot of work that needed to be done that day. I stayed around 5 hours and time flew by. Oh and Dr. Hemrajani was the nicest dentist I've ever met period. She likes to actually get to know the patient before going in to drill out your mouth, lol. I had as much fun as you could have at a dentist. Two thumbs up to every staff member. A year ago in Magnolia I was told I had 6 cavities but now I have none?!! 3) my insurance covered everything so my only out of pocket expense was 5 freaking bucks!!!
