We temporarily fixed it once, and then after that failed, we literally had it held up with duct tape for two weeks while we were too busy to even call someone out to deal with it. My wife did a little neighborhood Facebook page research and mentioned that a lot of people had success with Paul The Plumber. I gave them a call and got an appointment scheduled. My wife purchased a new faucet, in case our current one was beyond repair, but that ended up being moot. The plumber was at our house for maybe 12 total minutes, which includes him taking my credit card for the service charge. He very quickly knew how to fix the problem and it's been great ever since. Something else that was nice was that we were told the plumber would arrive between 3-4pm, and I got a text that he was on the way, scheduled for a 3pm arrival. I went sent real-time tracking of his location so I knew exactly when he'd be arriving, which was really convenient. So our experience was 5-stars across the board and we will definitely call these guys again next time we have an issue.

They were consistently late, even with a big windows of time 2. Installation of my sink was faulty 3. Even though it was their faulty installation that caused the issue, they wanted to charge me additional money to finish the job. Now ultimately, I reached out to another repair person I had trusted in the past, but wasn't aware they did plumbing. They came out and took a look and realized these guys installed piping that was the wrong size. He went out, got the piping, installed it and charged me a whopping $35. Now, that's still $35 more than I should have paid if these guys did their jobs correctly., but a lot less than the minimum $150 they would've charged me to do the wrong repair (a reminder, they wanted to do the wrong repair here, they were totally off base on the issue). Another thing I didn't mention in the first part of my review is that during the initial installation, they claimed they need to add additional support in order to secure the sink. Seemed reasonable at the time (I'm not a plumbing expert) and maybe I did actually need it. However, the prior sink stood securely for several years without issue. Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't be surprised if it was wholly unnecessary. The repair also required me to go find my own dry wall guy and such to fix up these supposed necessary fixes, which was, more money. It seems like they may be one of those types of companies that gives you a low quote at first and then finds ways to nickle and dime you (and by nickle and dime, I mean 100-200 additional dollars for each thing they think up). Now they have a good rating here on yelp, but if you check google reviews, you'll see they have a pretty low rating compared to other plumbers in the area. Normally, I would've done this, but as a busy parent, I just can't do the due diligence I once did. I cannot recommend this company. I would recommend the Heights Handyman if you live in the Heights or nearby areas. They are reliable, cost effective, full service, and trustworthy.

Super honest, humble and down-to-earth guy, Sang and his team came to save the day! Sang did a great job of explaining the underlying issues, took his time, and discovered that the builders or sub-contractors who originally built my parents house back in 2004 installed the piping incorrectly, so the hot and cold waters running through the pipes were all wrong...this by the way would not have been discovered had it not been for Sang doing such a thorough job in checking everything to find the root cause!
