I ordered the 4 piece with mashed potatoes and white gravy. Unfortunately it was disappointing. The breading was off and it was way too salty. On this night it was NOT the best fried chicken in Nebraska. The homemade white gravy was over-salted and tasted out of a jar, unlike the delicious homemade gravy Ron made when it was Red Rooster. Two people at our table said the same about the meatloaf and dark gravy. The gravy was also over-salted and it didn't taste homemade. Service was unusually clunky and we only saw one regular server. Everyone else was new. The decor in the Restaurant was different too. Not bad but just different. I'm hoping this was a one off experience because we really liked the Red Rooster. I'm not sure why the new owners of Route 77 made so many changes to a successful restaurant that was already working well. I hope they figure it out. The buffet line was extremely long and the buffet is wedged in a hallway area so it is really difficult to navigate. I felt sorry for parents with children and the elderly people that were there because it was so cramped. The workers work very hard there. I suspect they go home on Friday nights exhausted with the large crowds they serve. One thing to mention is that it would be really nice if the owner would fix the bathrooms. There weren't any working sinks in the bathrooms when we were there. We probably won't go back again because of how hard it was to navigate the buffet and how long it took to get through the line .

The original Par IV was ran by my grandfather before he retired. Not long ago, the original building burned down.
