If you're craving a warm sandwich with all the fixings (& a drink) this is the spot!!! You can choose your type of bread (see menu) and your side of chips. The menu is huge and they have a few kid friendly options (grilled cheese and grilled PB&J). It is a little pricey for sandwiches but worth it if you're in the Haymarket area. Came here on a Wednesday for lunch and it was fairly busy but we were able to find a table for two right away. Service wasn't the fastest but understandable during the lunch rush. I got half a club sandwich on ciabatta with no tomatoes and a side of salt and vinegar chips. It could have had more lettuce, mine only had one scrawny piece. There were several TVs in the bar area to watch sports channels. The drink cups are huge! Lol. Barely made a dent in my water. I think I should have gotten a whole sandwich or a side of soup. I wasn't hungry after, but definitely could have eaten a whole sandwich. Can't complain for a lunch for less than $10 before tax and tip. read more

It was very crowded when we came. Service was great. We had to find our own table and they wiped it clean immediately for us. This is the second time here for us. I ordered a painkiller today. It was delicious. Love the rim of toasted coconut flakes. It was cold out and I wanted the bread bowl with soup. So I specifically asked if I ordered a half croissant with soup if I would stoll get a bread bowl. She said it did. When it came, it wasn't in a bread bowl. When we asked it appeared to be that it's because the chicken noodle soup was too brothy. And the soup would be soaked up very quickly in the bread bowl. I wish she would have told me about it. I was really craving that. But otherwise. It was a bustling busy Saturday afternoon. Ambiance is chill. And very delicious food. We love it and will be back. read more

We went out for lunch today but the place we chose was closed. Lucky us we were close to Bison Witches. We walked in and boy they where busy. We found a table by the window, and the staff cleaned it up for us immediately. We ordered a drink, I had a blue moon. We ordered after and our food soon arrived. Took daughter out for dinner recently here as she had been before and highly recommended it. I got McQuinton sandwich and she got the veggie sandwich. In all a very quick and simple restaurant. My sandwich was very good. It came with a bag of chips and they got a lemonade to drink this place also sells beer and cocktails which we both passed on but the service was very good and we got there at a good time before dinner time so the food was good and service was good. I went here with a coworker on lunch break. We had an hour, I wouldn't go for a 30 minute break. They were also very accommodating to us requesting to go containers for our cups, I asked for the cold toppings on my nachos to be on the side so I could take leftovers home and not reheat lettuce (ew!) and the waiter was very understanding. I was visiting the area and when I saw there was a Bison Witches so I just had to stop in - this brings me back to my college days and I needed to dive into the nostalgia. I've been longing for their nachos and sandwiches for years! I have no idea if the nachos have changed drastically, if my food preferences have changed significantly, or if my memory is very bad - but these were not great. I do not recommend. The sandwich was ok, I appreciate the lightly toasted doughy bread but it was otherwise a little plain. So this was a bust and I think I've finally decided to stop trying to go to all my old favorite college hot spots. read more

The food menu is extensive and it was hard to choose which sandwich to get cause multiple sounded good. I ended on the C.A.B. which was really good. I like the honey mustard sauce it had on it. The sandwiches were loaded up with meat and they didn't take long to get food to our very large party. After living in Nebraska now for almost a decade I'm almost a wee bit embarrassed to say that on this day that my boyfriend and I headed over to Lincoln, it was also the first day I had ever been to Lincoln. Ever. I was excited for the mini adventure during the COVID times and ecstatic to try this sandwich place he had been raving about. We parked in downtown somewhere then walked couple blocks to get here which was sweet because the weather was perfect on this day. The sun was shining and it was warm but not too warm. When we got there we were happily seated on the patio where the tables were nicely spread out. The menu had a fair number of delicious sounding sandwiches, soups, salads, and appetizers. We were both hungry but knew we just wanted to get to the goods so we when straight to the sandwich section of the menu. My boyfriend chose the club sandwich on Dark Rye bread and opted out of chips. This sandwich is filled with ham, turkey, tomatoes, shredded lettuce, bacon, and Swiss cheese. This is his favorite and it looked amazing and he said it was just as good as the last time he had it. I love that they are generous with their fixings and the combinations aren't the typical sandwich concoctions. I chose the half angel on a croissant and sea salt and vinegar chips. This sandwich was wonderful. It is made of thinly sliced turkey layered with cheddar cheese, tomato slices, sprouts and a house honey mustard. I absolutely loved it!! I especially enjoyed the sprouts because I feel like it is a great touch to a sandwich that is often overlooked. It's one of my favorite ingredients in sandwiches!! This sandwich had everything I love together and served warm. The service was pretty attentive here and they cleaned even the outside tables after a party was done there. I enjoyed this sandwich shop very much and I hope they continue to do well during this uncertain time. I'm already looking forward to the next time we head out to Lincoln. read more

My brother and I came here off of his recommendation. I love the old town exterior and nice interiors of the place! Our server dude was really cool and gave great customer attention to us! We both ordered the same thing. We got the half sandwich and soup bowls along with jalapeño chips. The sandwiches were the beef and brie... I love the way the melted brie mixed with smoked beef, tomatoes, sprouts, and honey mustard tasted altogether! Our soup bowls were the cream of potato bacon. It was cool how they brought the soup bowls to us with the bread lids on to keep the soup hot! It was humid outside so we washed all down with ice water, which even that was really good here! It's either been burnt, or reheated more than once, which is against health code violations.
