OK, so didn't actually use their services so I can't review them for that. I will say that we went in there after having been in Paul's TV across the street. We had some simple questions on mounting a flat screen using an existing in wall mount. The guys at Paul's did not answer any of our questions. Instead, they provided us with a lot of FUD while trying to sell us a completely new TV wall mount. The guys at Czar on the other hand, sat down with us to understand what we were trying to do. They explained everything and even gave us a few extra screws and washers for the job. We asked them how much we owed them for their time and the screws and they said, "No problem." I recently sold my home in Pasadena after living there for 24 years, and moved out of the state, so this will be my final post for Czar AV in Monrovia, Despite my pleading to follow-up on a simple installation CZAR refused over and over to remedy the small adjustments and programming that were not completed. I received harsh and angry voice mails from the owner, which I will cherish for years to come, and are now laughable. Never in my life have I ever been treated so rudely by a service oriented company that I thought was working with me. Warning: The owner has a serious anger management problem. i was referred to Czar Audio by another Audio company from Pasadena. I talked to the owner, Dave Fernandez over the phone and was immediately put at ease. He did not talk like a salesperson, and we actually talked about other things before getting down to business. The same rapport was there when we met face-to-face. Talked about need/options, then sent me away to think about what I wanted. So after a week or so, i made my decision and made my purchase. An installation appointment was made, and the 2 technicians (Jacob and i believe, Lue or Lui) arrived and were as professional and courteous as you could ask for. They performed the equipment install, cleaned up my wiring and were done in short order.
