A huge thanks to Anthony and Tiffany for coordinating all the logistics, Anthony in particular was so helpful from start to finish, always available, responded immediately to any question, and just made the whole process incredibly easy. An especially big thanks to our installer Bobby and his crew who did such an exceptional job carefully removing the old system and doing a beautiful install of the new one. They also completely reworked the AC closet, moving the system forward and sealing everything off cleanly, what was once a poorly converted linen closet now has potential for usable space behind it. Whereas the old system sounded like a jet engine taking off, the new Mitsubishi is astonishingly quiet, the condenser is outside our bedroom and you hear literally nothing. It works flawlessly and has been keeping the house perfectly cool through what's shaping up to be a hot summer. This was not an easy install either. The house, like many older homes, is full of quirks and Diamond did an amazing job working around all the pitfalls that come with squeezing a central HVAC system into a house not originally designed for one. Everyone at Diamond was a total pleasure to work with and have in our home. Their pricing was fair and reasonable and the quality of their workmanship is just excellent. Mark came out to look at my furnace to troubleshoot the abnormal sounds that occasionally occur. He ran some tests and gave me some suggestions. He did not try to sell me on anything and based on what I know from watching lots of HVAC Youtube videos he was on point. He talked to me more like a friend than a sales person. He was also here to give me an estimate on installing a whole house fan and attic fan. He verbally walked me through the installation process and his ideas aligned with my own visions on installation location. Mark said that he'll put everything he said in writing which I appreciate wholeheartedly. I had to ask... He explained the origin of the company name and now I am more inclined to go with Piggies AC. The owners daughter drew the logo when she was young. As an elementary school and a parent myself I appreciate it when children are included. From the moment he arrived, Tomer was calm, kind, and completely professional, which is exactly what you want when you're stressed about water dripping through your ceiling. He diagnosed the problem efficiently: our AC drip pan had overflowed due to a clogged drain pipe. He walked us through everything as he went, answering every question we threw at him without making us feel like we were slowing him down. He needed a couple of additional parts he didn't have on hand, so he promised to return Monday morning to finish the job. And he did, right on time. When yet another part turned out to be needed mid-repair, he didn't reschedule or leave us hanging. He went out, got it himself, and came straight back to finish what he started. No drama, no delays. While he was up in the attic, he also flagged some rat droppings and other pest concerns. But not in a pushy, upsell-y way, but just as a heads-up.
