I woke up one Sunday morning to a nightmare scenario: something in my attic was leaking directly into my kitchen. These guys are great. Not only do they do a fantastic job, they stand by their work. I've had a lingering issue with a drainage line in one of my HVAC units that my previous provider couldn't fix. This is for technician Tomer, who recently last month in March...exemplified "Exceptional" communication, diagnosis and troubleshooting, regarding issue with my ac/ heat York Unit, that was cutting on and off, along with not reaching set temperature rather it was ac or out heat mode. Due to Tomer's thorough expertise - he discovered the issue was having a dirty flame sensor and the motor (must be replaced) on our York unit. What amazed me was that Tomer, not only did he order the part, but made sure (my current defective motor) was under warranty, which saved me a lot of money. Even though it took a week for motor part to arrive- Tomer consistently, with consideration kept me updated on its arrival. Tomer completely resolved issue - by installing new motor after it arrived. We had to fawn the days of service so that we didn't continue to get more attitude like we got after I told your tech I would not be giving him my keys since we were home, and we didn't want more intrusion after we saw two different techs peeking under a covered car twice. I'm happy to hear that you talked to your crew about these kinds of behaviors. That's really all that was ever asked of you out of our concerns for other customers, specifically vulnerable ones. Vulnerability is exceptionally high when things involve your home. I did not describe what the job was exactly in either my review or DM, so I'm not really sure how you were able to search for the job, or how you can say that those kind of jobs are completed in one day. It was a multi day job partially because of misdiagnosis. I would have appreciated if and how you planned to address them as a response, and not more questioning on if I have the right company. It wasn't just one or two of the workers who were gross, but multiple men working across multiple days made me and my roommates uncomfortable. They had the gall to ask for my keys as soon as they stepped into the property... for what reason? We were there for the service. And not one but two techs lifted up the covered car on the driveway because they were curious. They are not careful and dropped ac fluid everywhere, staining the surface of the patio, and they didn't come with the right materials 2 out of the 3 days that they had to work. And on top of which, they will high ball you an absurd number and the second you show some push back, they will magically drop the price. Oh, and the whole unit broke three months later. Avi came right on time, and was very helpful in explaining the options I have - repair versus replacing the unit. I didn't feel pressured to replace, although he did recommend that as the better route overall for longevity. Due to my budget, I ended up repairing the unit at a reasonable price. They were super quick and the unit was running ultra smoothly and even sounded better (less loud and noisy after they replaced a dying component). Super pleasant to work with and would 100% reach out to them again when the time comes for replacing my HVAC!! I didn't know split mini AC's were actually capable of working until I hired the good folk at Pioneers to diagnose my troublesome units and provide me up with a new functioning system. After years of being gaslit by our former installers regarding leaks and overall performance, I finally gave up and went with a reputable company based on their outstanding track record and reviews. They easily identified the issues with my lackluster units and quickly provided options. Since and during the repairs, their communication has been instant, clear, and honest. I'm glad to have finally found technicians that I'll continue to hire down the line for future upgrades and upkeep. read more

Called them for service in October 2025 because my HVAC compressor would not start. The technician quoted me $100 for the initial diagnostic, $350 for a capacitor replacement, plus $410 per pound for missing R-410A refrigerant + labor for recharging the system (I was apparently missing 3 lbs), a $1,200 leak check, and potentially more if they could not find the leak. I declined the refrigerant and leak check work and asked only to address the immediate compressor-start issue because the unit is about 15 years old and I did not want to put major money into it. The interaction was unpleasant. I said I wanted to hold off on the refrigerant, and how in principle one could purchase it for $20 per pound after taking a short EPA test. The technician became argumentative and talked over me for an extended period about legality, expertise, inventory costs, and why the pricing was justified. I understand companies have overhead, but 1. this company was charging north of $1000 in just labor for a 30 min job (yes, I looked up the procedure) and 2. I felt pressured and talked down to. I agreed to the capacitor replacement because I was aware of the electrical risks and wanted the system running. During the work, there was a spark while the capacitor was being removed. After that incident, the control board no longer worked, and the technician replaced it at no charge. I appreciated that, but it did not inspire confidence. Fast forward to May 2026: the HVAC would not start again. Another diagnosis found that the capacitor installed less than a year earlier was completely dead. More importantly, the installed capacitor was rated 50+5 µF, while my unit calls for 45+5 µF. That is a basic part-spec mismatch. I was also told the Titan Pro series capacitor they used was not made in the USA, unlike the Titan HD or the trusted Amrad brand. Now, if you were in the business of making money off of HVAC service, would you install a capacitor that failed every year or every 10 years? I paid a premium price for what should have been a straightforward capacitor replacement, dealt with a high-pressure upsell, and then later discovered the wrong capacitance rating had been installed. Based on that experience, I would not use this company again and would recommend getting a second opinion. read more
