Their pet/urine treatment didn't resolve the issue even after repetitive treatments. Still smells

Had five rooms cleaned two weeks ago. When the Master Bedroom dried, four long swaths of soil had been left behind, and the technician missed several places that needed attention. I first emailed Don the owner and got no reply. I eventually called and was chastised for emailing (which he apparently does not check). Don and I discussed today as a day that would work for remediation. I had the distinct impression he was going to come. He had me text photos of the problem, which he agreed was not right. Yesterday Don called and left VM asking what it was they were supposed to do for me, as he could not recall, and to verify the time. I texted him this morning indicating the texted photos I'd sent previously, which were on the message thread, signed my name and wrote unhappy customer under my name. Don immediately called back and demanded to know if I'd texted him and why would I have done that? Why would I have written something like that? I responded that it was because he had left VM asking what it was they were supposed to do. Don stated that what I had said (unhappy customer) was "over the top". This call was rude and unpleasant from his end. Unhappy customer is about ME. I get to describe myself any way I choose, regardless of him thinking it's over the top or milk toast. The technician came and re-cleaned the room I had complained about. Hopefully this ends any contact I have with this company. read more

we had a whole house carpet cleaning plus stretching living room carpet. Also cleaning grout in bathroom. Two trucks pulled up at 8 am and finished around 11am. Had a crew of four and they did a great job. would highly recommend this company. read more

I am not pleased at all. I had approximately 600+ sqft of carpet cleaned. From the moment the techs showed up at my door, to the moment they drive away, the entire process lasted maybe 50 minutes. That included equipment set up and breakdown. I don't believe even surface dirt could be removed from that much area in that little time. And to make it matters worse, I emailed the company to let them know my dissatisfaction - and I never even received a reply back. It certainly was not worth the nearly $300 I paid. I could've done a better job with my home carpet cleaner. I don't recommend D&H Carpet Cleaning. If you want a thorough job done, consider someone else. read more

I've had them do my carpets for years and they always do a great job for a fair price. Since Covid, I haven't had the floors cleaned and they were pretty awful. I was amazed that they made the 20 year old carpet look new again. The whole house feels so fresh. Thank you! read more

Amazing!!! Had a large pink glitter glue stain on my carpet from my nieces experiment with Slime that we discovered had been there for months. Called D & H Carpet cleaners and spoke with Don and he was very helpful in explaining all the possible options to me. When Don and Chad arrived they took one look and instead of trying to remove the stain they saved me some money by using their high tech microwave carpet replacement - it worked! Casey and Trevor did a fantastic job (pet stains included). We were so impressed that we requested Casey back to clean and re-stretch bedroom carpets in our home. He and Chad did a great job. Communication was good and they let me know they were coming early I was nervous about having the upholstery on my vintage 1980s sofa cleaned, but Trevor patiently answered all my questions and was confident and knowledgeable. It is a huge part of my job selecting the right vendor where price, satisfaction, and schedule flexibility meet at an agreeable place. I have used D&H exclusively for nearly two years because of how well they nail that criteria. Don (the owner of DH) has no problem getting down and doing the nitty gritty work himself and holds no reservations about emergency midnight flood conditions. Owner was great on working with us for a price. We had heavily dirty and soiled carpets. Technician showed up and cleaned carpets, but didn't ask us to move our furniture to get other spots. Now we have areas that were not cleaned. Also was told everything would be dry and good to go after 24 hrs. 4 days later we still have damp areas that leave a slimy, chemical residue on shoes even though we followed directions on getting them dried properly. We have a dog and toddler that now need to be wiped down everytime they are on the carpets. Next time the communication needs to be better with the technician on procedure with furniture. read more

I have been using D&H for years. Every six months they have cleaned our carpets and for the most part have done well. HOWEVER. Six months ago they came out to clean and afterwards dumped chemicals in our yard and killed the grass. Yesterday I had them out to dye some spots on my stairs and clean them. Afterwards I noticed that they scraped the paint off the wall on nearly every step. When I had them back to look at it they didn't see what the issue was since it was an older home and people would expect that. Are you kidding me? Dan the owner was rude and condescending and said there was nothing they could do. Thank you for the terrible service, damage to my home and rude comments. If I could give less than zero stars I would. Did I mention our house when on the Real Estate market today? I cannot believe you caused the damage and then walk away. read more

They did a very nice job cleaning carpets after we moved out of a rental house and they had good pricing. Only con was that they were 30 minutes late, and did not receive any type of notification of a late arrival. read more

Had my carpet in my family room cleaned-the worker was friendly and nice, I did feel like he was in a rush to get done. I asked him to spray some stain remover in front of my couch and he stated the stains will come out when he steam cleans it-carpet looked very nice when he was finished how ever when the carpet was dry the stains were still there. read more

D & H carpet cleaned a very soiled home because of two puppy's. I have had other companies come out but no one has done as good. The owner came out along with the guy to do the cleaning and made sure he understood how each rug or carpet to be cleaned. That was important to me. Made a difference for this home. read more
