My apartment was flooded last week and the manager asked them to come with masks and booties. Their employee arrived without a mask or booties on. When I asked him if he had a mask, he looked annoyed and said he didn't have any masks. I said that he needed to wear a mask and he started saying "you want me to cancel the appointment?" to which I said no, you need to wear a mask. I told him to call management and he said he had been but they're not answering. He kept saying he was going to cancel the cleaning and walked away. I followed him down the hallway and said that if he cancelled my cleaning I would give him a bad review and be pissed! He went to the manager's office which was empty because it was the lunch hour and he called his boss. I don't know what the boss said but the guy then went out to his vehicle and pulled out a box of masks. He came back and I let him in the door and he started putting the mask on to which I asked him to please don't put the mask on until you're at my door because he was getting it contaminated to then blow that contamination into my apartment which defeats the purpose I need due to my bad health. I said that now that he had a mask he could do the cleaning and that they would need to move their van to the other side of the building to access my apartment and I kept asking him to please take the mask off until he gets to my apartment. He called his boss and held out the phone to me to talk to his boss, which I didn't understand why and I asked again for him to please take the mask off until he got to my apartment. He hung up the phone and said he would drive around. He never drove around. I called the company and asked to speak to a manager and he said he was. He asked if they could came back to which I said I don't need that stress or reschedule which I said he would need to talk to management about. I attempted to explain what happened but he kept interrupting me saying he told his employee to wear a mask and booties and not to write a bad review and people have bad days and on and on to the point where he wouldn't listen to any feedback on his employees inappropriate behavior. It was clear to me that his employee felt that I didn't need to bother him about wearing a mask and I'm confident he understood me because I kept pointing to my own mask that I was wearing when I told him he needed to wear a mask. I'm getting sick and tired of these guys who feel like it's such a huge deal to wear a mask inside my apartment; so sorry to have a crappy immune system! read more

He answered my call with such service and positivity you might think that you called a 5* hotel. Once you've made an appointment with him he begins to explain what he does different and the warranty that he offers at no additional charge. From the phone call I knew I'd like his level or service. We recently moved into a new house and wanted our old but very dirty rugs cleaned--including one that our dog had, um, 'marked' Candido came by the house, discovered that our rugs are all wool, and explained our options for cleaning them: in the house, doesn't work well on wool, or at his shop where he could submerge and then dry them. Cost for in home is _way_ less than at the shop, but that's what they needed so Candido offered us an affordable price and hauled them off. A few days later he brought back clean rugs with colors we hadn't seen in years. A few weeks later when my wife complained that the 'marked' rug still smelled, he came back, took the rug away, gave it a thorough cleaning, and refused any additional payment when he brought it back-even though he suspects the dog 'marked' it again after the first cleaning. What a find! Candido's can do it all at a fraction of the cost. I sincerely thought we would have to pull out the carpets. After returning from a well deserved vacation we came home to an odor that took our breath away. There was a scent of strong ammonia we noticed it in the downstairs but then as we went upstairs and became stronger. I absolutely had no idea what this was and could not identified this ransid smell. I called my house sitter and asked if he had noticed anything. I have used him in the past and I find him to be completely honest and reliable. My house sitter also cares for my dog and has several when we travel. We came to the coclusion that we had a dead animal between our floors. I contacted a local pest control to come assess the situation and tell me what all the options were. The pest control spent about 45 minutes spending a lot of time around my house and in my backyard around my shed and really gave it a thorough inspection.
