So apparently, I now need to waste my time getting a refund for my deal from Yelp. He told me he would recommend others who are cheaper, because his services are too good for me. What kind of customer service is this? What's worse is that we got disconnected due to bad connection, and he hasn't called back nor is he picking up the phone when I call. It's pretty obvious he's avoiding my call now. Does he really think I'd keep this to myself when I bought the deal on a REVIEW SITE called Yelp?

I am moving out of a townhouse and wanted to get my deposit back! From the beginning McGarrett was courteous and thorough. I paid exactly what he quoted which was in line -perhaps even a little less expensive- with other companies who were actually much slower to respond. My technician, "E", was professional and very personable. I wasn't sure of the right etiquette so I gave a small tip and he was so gracious. I have had this carpet placed in almost every classroom and office space as an educator. It was filthy, especially around the fringes. Although I would vacuum it and sweep it, the wear and tear of the years inside a classroom took its toll. Last year after we had to leave for the massive stay at home orders, I cleaned my room and took things to a storage because I knew I would move to another school in the fall. I rolled up the rug and threw it into a storage facility. Approximately a year ago I had used A Plus - I was in the hospital for emergency life saving surgery - and due to my health - I was not allowed to leave the hospital and had to leave my dogs alone for almost 24hrs - please understand - my leaving my dogs was NOT due to neglect - I was a day - 2 days at the most from dying - my situation was CRITICAL and the Drs stated if I left the hospital there was a very STRONG possibility that I could die driving home to get my dogs - my fear of dying was overwhelming to say the least and the thought of possibly dying driving home to get my dogs and possibly injuring/killing anyone in a car accident was not something I could risk... Unfortunately, one of my friends was not able to get to my dogs until the following day and she was aware of how dire my situation was - Needless to say, I knew that my carpeting was going to be hit with the dogs 'accidents'... About a week after my surgery I started to call around for a carpet cleaning company that would be willing to do the work without gauging me in the pocketbook... I found Alex at APlus - He was extremely kind and compassionate to my situation - He was willing to work with me in every aspect - I had never forgotten... And when I FINALLY came home - my carpets looked incredible and there was ABSOLUTELY NO 'ODOR' lingering... It was a HUGE relief to me! I reached out to Alex again, literally today, regarding a cleaning... He remembered me from the initial job and from previous conversations... How many companies will 'remember' you? He was able to accommodate my short-notice request and crazy work schedule, and communicated well and clearly throughout the scheduling process. He showed up on time and finished when he projected he would. I was favorably impressed with his professionalism as well as the very reasonable pricing for his services! I waited five days after work was done to write this so any temporary effect would pass...you know how sometimes carpets look great right after while drying, then a few days later when dry, stains reappear and you see the work was shoddy - surely NOT the case with this work!) He also cleaned a sofa and dining chair cushions for me which look brand new afterwards.
