It looks like a completely new space. The job was scheduled within a few days and was completed on schedule. Included (for a fee) in the quote was assistance putting furniture back in the room which was helpful. I'd contact Antoine again for future flooring needs.

Let's start with the good - he did get most of the stains out and did a great job tightening up our carpet. He was also on time and easy to communicate with. The not-so-good: the main thing that irked me was that he put our furniture on top of our other furniture. This includes an air purifier that was on the dirty floor of our bedroom which was moved to be on top of our clean bed. He also put our tables on top of our couches. Not the cleanest method to clean. When I've hired Stanley Steamer before they come with 2 guys who move all the heavy furniture around and place everything on these pad-looking things. They never put things on top of things. They also ask you to move the smaller things out of the way. Also, he also wasn't able to get out of a couple of minor stains. I'd say he was about as expensive as Stanley Steamer, but not as effective. All and all, he was a nice guy but his methodology is questionable.

The quote they gave was comparable to others but the reason we chose them was they noticed that there was a concern about our existing floor not being level which they planned to address during their install. There was a mix-up the first time and they did the basic pet treatment. But they came back, did the advanced (deeper) enzyme treatment I had originally booked, and refunded me for the hassle, which I really appreciated. Both times the techs were pleasant and efficient. I also appreciated that, prior to treatment, they used a black light to thoroughly assess the problem. One thing to know is that the smell can actually get worse for a few days after deep enzyme cleaning (which really surprised me!). Keeping the windows closed at first, then airing out, running two air purifiers on turbo, and vacuuming thoroughly really helped. Vacuuming is so important because it lifts leftover VOC particles that cause "ghost smell" even after enzyme treatment. I also used an odor powder (Rocco & Roxie) over the carpet, left it for 24 hours, then vacuumed again. Blocking off the area with aluminum foil and barriers helped stop my cat from re-marking the same spots too. In the end, Citrus Fresh helped me save my carpet. I'd recommend them -- just know to stick with it, ask for the advanced treatment and be patient if you have a tough pet mess like mine!
