Called Samsung to see if they would warranty my Samsung galaxy ring which has a battery issue…read more Samsung said that I needed to go to an authorized repair shop, which is uBreakifix and sent me the nearest location. I called the store to confirm that I needed to go in and explain the situation to the store employee at uBreakifix. I was very detailed on what I was talking about because I am a tech guy, and I know that smart rings cannot be repaired. They cannot be opened. The employee told me to come into the store, put Asurion insurance on it, and in 35 days call in and claim the warranty. That's what I was told to do. I came into the store today and spoke with the manager. The manager has no idea what I'm talking about. I asked to speak to the employee who told me this. The manager tried to claim the employee was new. I know for a fact that that's not a new employee if they know that insurance technique. The employee said he thought I was talking about a Ring doorbell camera, not a Samsung Galaxy Ring, when I specifically told him it was a Samsung Galaxy Ring and that Samsung told me to call them. I don't see how he could have gotten confused about what we were discussing when I was very detailed again, because I know that you can't fix a smart Ring. Samsung wants me to go there in order for them to diagnose what I already know, which is the battery is defective. The employee continues to lie to me in front of his manager about the conversation. Prior to the manager letting the employee talk to me he took him to the back which I can only assume to say there was a misunderstanding... I turned and looked at the manager and said, "This is the kind of employee you are hiring. I don't want to do any business here," and I left. Will never go to this business again. I used to run a repair shop like this with a close friend of mine many years ago and never did I lie about something I said over the phone or claim miscommunication... Update: Guess I should have read all the 1 star reviews before wasting my time we these guys..

Cracked her laptop open ourselves and removed most of the screws from the battery to try and take it out, but there were two that we could not get out so we caved and took it in to the shop. The person at the front was able to remove them immediately and very easily, and walked us through all of the possible outcomes for the laptop. The laptop was fine when dried in-store for a few days, though the price for it to just sit there by a fan was higher than I would have liked. I also wish they had been a little more communicative, we had to call more than once just to get updates. Overall, they were knowledgeable and it got fixed, so I would return in the event of another mishap.

The only thing that initially made me hesitate was that it was a home-based business. I decided to keep looking around and even visited another highly rated repair shop in the area. Before I could even ask if they could repair my controller, they immediately recommended QCQ Repair. That told me everything I needed to know. From the moment I spoke with Jose, I could tell he genuinely knew what he was doing. With over 10 years of experience, his knowledge and professionalism stood out immediately. He took the time to listen to my concerns about my controller, understood how much sentimental value it had to me, and even understood how excited I was to play the upcoming Halo Remastered. What impressed me the most was his honesty. From the very beginning, he told me there was a possibility the controller couldn't be repaired because of how Microsoft designed the Elite Series 2. He didn't make promises he couldn't keep or give me false hope. Instead, he was upfront and transparent, and I respected that more than anything. I dropped my controller off on July 3rd, right before the holiday weekend, and he was still willing to take it in. A few days later, he contacted me with great news--he had successfully repaired it. Not only does my controller work perfectly again, but he also replaced the joystick with an upgraded component to help prevent the issue from happening again. The price was more than fair considering the complexity of the repair and the cost of replacing one of these controllers. Honest work. I had a bad crack in the corner of my Samsung Galaxy note 8. I thought my screen protector and screen was cracked so I took it to D and R electronics. I gave him my phone and told him I thought my screen was cracked. I filled out the paperwork and he took the phone into the back. I was amazed when he came out and told me the only thing that was crack was the screen protector and not the screen. He could have easily said he replaced my screen and charged me money when in fact I didn't need it. I asked about my poor battery life and he recommended a new battery. In less than 15 minutes, he replaced the battery and installed it for less that 80 bucks. I asked him about a disc loading issue on my PS4 and a new blue ray reader is less than $125 installed. Ill be back to have that done. read more

I came into this store a couple weeks ago and asked for some advice on my phone screen that I had just recently cracked, I had been under the impression that my phone couldn't be fixed and I was feeling so anxious about the situation. However, after to talking to a very polite employee I feel much more reassured about the situation. They told me about all of the ways that they or myself could possibly resolve the situation, and made me feel much more comfortable about the state of the phone.
