What I got in return was a notice from a debt collection company, which of course hurt my credit rating, and the time and bother it took to call American Pest and find out that someone had entered the bill for the next to last visit twice, effectively cancelling my payment for it and triggering the debt collection letter. I've cancelled all future visits and am looking elsewhere now for more professional service

We had an active termite infestation, they came out and analyzed it and then called Interstate Repair Services, they gave us an estimate of $1500.00 worth of damage. That did not even cover the insulation that had to be replaced. Look elsewhere for a reputable Pest company that honors its warranties. I had found the original warranty from 2000 and it states that with an active termite infestation they will pay the damages. I can attest they will not, you will be left doing the repair work and paying for it. I contemplated legal action, but at this point, it is not worth it, I have dealt with chain companies, and they are very good at hiding behind franchises. I will make it a point to let everyone know, this is how they treat customers.

It's extremely frustrating to pay $500 for an incomplete service that only took the technician 40 minutes and did not get the job done. Subsequently, I persistently called, left voicemails and emailed for 2 weeks letting them know of my issue and they kept giving me the run around. It's unfortunate because they were so quick to get me scheduled to take my money but when I told them they obviously didn't do the job I paid for, they have been completely ghost. Because of the nature of the situation and the health hazard, I had to call another company to fix the faulty job they did. The new company is excellent, great customer service and I will recommend them to everyone with any similar issues as well as my HOA because we have wildlife issues is my neighborhood quite often. Companies like Jesse James do not care about customers... customers who work hard NOT to throw away money! I do not write reviews often so when I do it's because I value my dollar and do not want others taking advantage. Sadly, I was referred to Jesse James by another company who could not get to me sooner so I'll have to also let them know about my experience so others do not have my same fate! The new company couldn't help me, so I called another company to redo the inspection for me, but it was now only a week before closing so time was a critical issue. The new company said they would get back to me and never did. I called Fosters and Melanie immediately understood my situation, said she would call me back and did, and got the inspection and the report to me without any further nudging on my part! I am so impressed with her understanding, her follow up, and the young man who showed up to do the inspection. We killed a snake in the house. This company charged twice that of a competitor, didn't check the…read morecrawl space nor the attic and didn't find other dead snakes and snake skins in the house. He simply picked up the snake we had killed and left. He then incorrectly identified the dead snake. The competitor found the dead reptiles, pointed out evidence of others, helped close up areas the snakes were coming into the house, and followed up a few weeks later to confirm the problems had been resolved. A true lesson in customer service.
