Over payed for simple polish basically.. I'm so mad. This place definitely over charged me.

If I could give no stars I would. I'm not the type of person to complaint but this time was ridiculous. I got my nails done by Jason, the day after I had to come back because he didn't put gloss on one hand, silly. But one hand was matte and the other glossy. Day after that I came back because the first nail broke. I came back in total 5 times because all of my nails ended up falling and some of them took my own nail. Finally I come back to get them taken off so I can go get them done somewhere else and they make me pay them for taking them off I would definitely not be coming back. Poor service! Unfortunately had to wait 2hrs for service after an appointment was booked 2wks in advance. Provided opportunity as I know a lot of businesses are hurting due to the pandemic and everyone money and time is worth a lot. They are pricy compared to other locations. Witness many ladies upset as the receptionist making appointments booked 4 ladies at the same time with same nail tech. Just moved to Indio and this was the first place I tried. It was very unsatisfactory from start to finish. Least expensive pedi is $30. I selected the $38.00 pedi with a 12 minute leg massage. The massage consisted of vigorous rubbing with lotion and some very hard fist pounds on my calves. Very little attention to the feet. The technician was very rude throughout the whole experience. She actually made me hold up my legs up in the air a couple of times while she applied the callus removal treatment to my feet. She did a very poor job of cuticle removal around the nails. When I paid, I handed her $45 cash expecting change from which I would give her a tip worthy of her service. She said thank you loudly 3 times and offered no change. I have been coming here for years. The manager herself recognized me and acknowledged that I always come here to get my nails done. The last time I came here I got a new set of nails and when he (Sonny) put them on, they were crooked. I told him at the time and he laughed at me because he said they were fine. I told the manager and she agreed they were crooked. He said he would fix them but at this point I was already upset that he laughed and didn't want to fix them. He "fixed" them but they are still crooked! I did get a 10% discount that they offered. I came back to get a fill and asked for them to fix what they hadn't fixed last time. It turns out that they have to take off my acrylic nails and put on a new set but they are wanting to charge me! Charge me for their mistakes!!! No thank you! Never coming back here again! They do a really great job on the actual nails. Customer service could use some work. Not very honest about wait times and very hard to understand. However they do the best job on acrylics out of all the places I've tried. I would recommend if you dont mind a wait. I had my nails filled on Sat. Broke 2 the next day because the nail guy thinned out my nails so much taking the gel off. I go back in a few days later to get them fixed and the same nail tech tries to blame me and talks shit in his language to the nail tech next to him. I don't recommend this place at all. I have been going there for several years and I would use Paula to paint my nails. I have been noticing that she is over booking and rushes. My last straw was when I bought my grandma a $100 coupon for her birthday to get her nails done. She went and she kept on telling Paula that she wanted pink gel and she told her multiple times. Paula was rushing to finish and decided to paint my grandma's nails white but it was very sloppy. My grandma paid with some of her coupon but left very dissatisfied because that is not what she wanted. She called them a couple of hours later and told them what had happened to her. The person on the phone told her to come in and they would fix it. My grandma explained to the manager what happened and the man in the front had asked for the coupon so he could see how she paid. Paula was confronted by the manager and they were just shouting back and forth. My grandma was very uncomfortable. The manager ended up fixing her nails but then the man that took her coupon didn't want to give it back to her. He said she didn't make an appointment so she had to pay. He knew what happened to her so Of course she didn't make an appointment to get her nails fixed because Paula didn't do a good job. It's very disappointing!!!!!!! This place MUST be under new management (you can kind of tell by the way the staff acts) they don't like it but as a customer I love it. I've been going to this place on and off for years and this is the best service I've ever gotten. New little Latina girl up front is great! She's so nice unlike the little boy who's usually there. Go to Marry for pedicures!! New young guy did my nails he did good. But Sonny is always the # 1 choice. New eyebrow tech was on the phone the whole time she was waxing but they came out bomb so I can't complain. Over all very happy. They even did my pedicure and fill at the same time, saved me a lot of time! If there was a negative 10 that's what this D and T salon would get from me. Now I know what the D and T stand for.... Disgusting and Terrible! The first time I took my friend it was excellent no complaints. The second time however, I got a young man by the name of Jack and he did a terrible job. He even said," Oh to thick" when he made a face. So I told him to use his dremel and fix them. He just went over them real fast. Bottom line is them were to thick, uneven, and just an over all shit job. I called and told them they told me to come in the next day but I had to go to the ER for cellulitis and was not able to get back until a week later. I talked to the owner about it and she wanted to charge me again because I was a week late getting there, even though I was sick, she expected me to call her until I reach her while I was sick. Then some loud mouth Mexican lady but her two sense in told me to act my age and told me to get out. I don't know who she was but she had no business in my business. Thanks to my precious review,( where I had a botched pedi which led to a terrible infection in my big toe which turned into my nail bed growing downward not straight, I just had a permanent ingrown toenail removed.. I had never had a problem with my nail bed until my jacked up pedi here.. Don't go here people!!! I've been going here for a few years now & most recently the work has been terrible. The past couple times my nails have not been what I requested. Today i asked for coffin nails & the color i chose was a bright orange color, Sunny insisted i choose from the "new" gel colors so he initially only handed me the new gel colors in a plastic covering. I chose my color from the new gels & it looked like a bright orange color & once he put 2 coats on it was completely sheer, except the bottom portion of my nails. He asked if i liked it & i said no it doesn't look like the color on the nail & instead of fixing it he was argumentative about it & said its the same color "on the bottom". Love this place absolutely recommend..get a basic pedicure and seems like u r getting a deluxe...now imagine how the deluxe is ! Ive gotten my full set here once with larry LOVED EM going in tomorrow hopefully he works his magic again. Went in for a pedicure, waited 1 hour after I was told 15 minute wait, was finally seated, once seated I felt rushed the employee handled my toes very rough and cut two of my toes, after my terrible experience I was overcharged then asked for description of breakdown of charges and they tacked on additional fees before even telling. I've been coming here for a while now and I've almost always loved my nails but today I came and told sonny specifically what I wanted he told me okay and proceeded to do my nails I noticed he wasnt really going for what I wanted so I told him again what I wanted he laughed and told me to not worry that he was getting there so I let him continue as he was putting a clear coat I asked him when he was going to get the the white tip I wanted on my nails he then told me I was done that I was getting a regular fill and that next time I need to get a brand new set for what I wanted! I told him I had told him from the start what I wanted and he laughed again and said it was extra and I needed a new set for that. I told him ok why didnt you just give me a full set in the first place then and all he said was next time! He had another appt waiting on him so he rushed my nails too. I don't know why other reviews are bad, but i've been coming to this place for a year and love it. I moved away and can't find the same prices for the mani pedis like here. They do a good job, they fix any mistakes which most of the time everything looks great. It can be a bit of a wait but worth it. They do a nice massage with mani/pedis and keep a clean establishment. I am very disappointed with the customer service. I always make appointment and arrive a few minutes early to find that I have been stood up by my nail tech 3 times in a 9 month period. They don't try and help you they turn you away and ask you to come back the next day. A simple phone call to your customers would go a long way. Don't have them drive all the way to the shop.
