This place is the best in town. The atmosphere is fun, the vibe and ambiance are perfect. I had such a fun and luxurious experience here. If you're looking to get pampered, this is the place to go. Giving them 3 stars because not all staff kept masks on. in one case, an employee completely removed her mask. Person checking in people wore his permanently below his nose. The pedicure was perfect, worth the money. My manicurist followed the mask rules and I do appreciate that. Im hoping they will clean up their act. If the wrong person sees this behavior they'll be shut down again and if I come in again and see masks under a nose, I'll walk out. NO EXCUSES - their competition down the street is following the rules read more

If you want a bad experience here get Tony! I went to the solan Thursday to get a normal gel pedi. He was very aggressive with moving my feet into and out of the uv light and aggressive and throughout the whole experience. The nail drill sting my foot bc of how aggressive he was and even cut almost every toe. When I got home, a few hours later, the paint had smudged off on two of my toes and had an air bubble on another. He is not patient or very gentle at all! If you want a good nail lady, get Gia! La Quinta Nail Bar is a new favorite salon of mine in the desert to get my nails done. Highly recommend for cleanliness, atmosphere, and selection of nail colors. This nail bar is gorgeous, spacious, and super clean. Despite how huge it is inside and busy, the decor and personalized chairs and services do give you a very VIP feel even though it's a larger salon. I just think the decor and layout is really pretty and organized. During covid times we are all hyper focused on cleanliness and I can definitely say this salon is spotless and so organized that it feels they put a lot of attention to the little things. I really love the nail color selection here. Having a wide variety of colors is super important to me and this salons selection is almost overload as they have so many good colors for both gel and regular polish. You can please anyone here. Service was great. I had a very relaxing and nice mani/pedi. My toes and hands looked great, good attention to detail, and they don't skimp on the services - great massage and very relaxing. My only negative about this place is it is a little more pricey then some of the other salons $$$ but again for good reason given the experience I had. I would say the only thing that felt a little frustrating was the up-selling. When your paying a pretty penny for their services and get told that a color you pick is an additional $15, seems kind of silly. Polish is part of the manicure, so that kind of up-sell for a sparkly color did seem extreme but I was treating myself and okayed it but later really felt like it wasn't right. Again, my only qualm after a fantastic service - I'll just be much more mindful of which nail colors I pick next time as I would be happy to come back. read more

This place has very controversial reviews. Some are for bad service and poor job with pictures that speak for themselves... I still decided to give it a try because I really needed a pedicure fast before I leave to a vacation. How bad can you mess up a pedicure? Ok, so I get there without high expectations and let the situation go. First of all the place is super cute!!! Clean and beautifully designed. I got a $45 pedicure (don't remember the exact price but it was upgraded). Gia did an amazing job with color, massage, scrub and callus removal!!! She was so great I decided to do a manicure with her as well. She listened and paid attention on how I want my nails shaped. She did a great job with everything! Really attentive and nice staff! I got my an acrylic nail set done by Vanna, who was able to replicate my inspiration photo and make them look even better than the picture. She took her time to make sure my nails looked perfect and checked in at every point. Plus she is very personable and easy to talk to! It is a bit pricier than I'm used to, but you totally get what you pay for - I highly recommend. read more

This is probably one of the WORST nail salons I've been too. DO NOT GO HERE. DO NOT. the men made me & my friend VERY uncomfortable during a pedicure and on top of that, I asked the man to file my toes how I asked (square) and he handled me the filer ??? -This place is HIP- This was my 3rd experience here and each time I left feeling great which is why you can now find me here! I've been to many of the nail techs out in the valley and by far, MICHELLE and joe set the bar. Their Perfectionism , professionalism, and attention to detail is what I believe separates them from most of the salons out here. I myself, found them on Yelp and haven't left since. Thank you to Michelle for not only capturing what inspired me but also executing it. I have always been happy with the quality of my nails at La Quinta Nail Bar. The prices are a bit higher than other places but the salon is nice and I get good service. I've seen Tom, John, and a woman (Michelle?). They take their time, I get to enjoy the spa chairs - some places race you in and out - and my nails are done well. They clean my cuticles - which are always a mess - and do the best job I've ever had on my calluses. I have a place I like in LA but I often wait so I can get my nails done here. I go to this nail salon when in the desert for the winter. Never had a problem with dip nails until this season. In the past the dip product did not chip or peel. This season they start to chip and peel by week two. They normally last until my nails get too long. They must be using a new, lower quality product is all I can figure. I will address it with them and if no change, will probably find another salon. read more

Had my nails done @ LQ Nail Bar 2 days ago, and the chrome was not applied correctly as it is beyond chipping away. In addition, the shape is completely off. Makes the nails look short and bubbly. It's definitely not worth $85 nor what I wanted. read more

I was there on Saturday morning August 27th and had my dip nails done by Tom. I had been in 2 weeks prior and had a dip set with tips done. I couldn't remember the girls name that did them the first time, so i just said with whoever was fine. Tom asked me if I wanted them shorter and I said "just a little" so he clipped the tip parts off and left me with very short nails. Then he did the dip process and sent me on my way. Once I got home and had my correct glasses on ( my fault), I saw how badly they really look. I have attached photos below, but we all know how hard it is to see everything in photos. Needless to say you can definitely see in the photos that the nails look awful. I don't feel comfortable going back in to have them fixed. I just wanted to make you aware of how poorly of a job I received at your salon. I don't feel he did $50 worth of quality work. read more

I have been a client for close to 3 Years. I had services from Cat in La Quinta and then followed…read moreher to the Palm Desert location until she was asked to leave after requesting a few weeks off (unpaid) to care for a family member. She gave me two referrals to go back to the La Quinta center as I live in La Quinta. I had three visits with Emily. On the second visit I included eyebrow waxing. I found when I washed my face and removed the exaggerated eyebrow pencil later that day, I saw that I was left with a big hole at the tail end of my left eyebrow. On my third visit (a month later) I showed Emily the result of her wax damage and she said "let's watch it until your next visit". I left the appointment after scheduling my next appointment at the reception desk for later in June 2026. I happened to receive my credit card statement and noticed that I was charged $64 from my third visit. As I said, I have been a client for 3 years. During that time, I purchased contracts for Brazilian wax (which I modify at my own request), Upper thigh, and eyebrows. I have received the same services as described above under the prepaid agreement. I have consistently modified the upper thigh to include the back of my thigh only as that is really all that I require. When I contacted the Center and asked what the charge was for, I was told that my contract is only for the "inner thigh" and therefore, I was charged the $64 for waxing the back of my upper thigh. Never, ever, was any added charges made on my credit card after any of my previous visits. Plus and most concerning, the charge was put on my Mastercard the Center has on file WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT. I made my followup appointment after my service and I left. There was ample time to speak to me about the impending secret charge while I was making another appointment. My following conversations (after the discovery of the charge on my Mastercard) with their management representative, I asked for a full refund of monies I have on account. I did not want to get services from this company any longer. I was told I needed to either forfeit the credit or take a gift card to be used at the Center. In my opinion, if in fact it was decided that the prior services I received were different from the services described that I paid for, I should have been notified during my visit or called thereafter. It should NEVER have been that I was secretly charged an additional fee. Needless to say, I can not afford to walk away from over $413 (after cancellation fee has been taken from the actual amount on hand). So, I am thinking about different ways to complete my contract with European Wax Center and NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN. Leslie R.

The second time, I just came by to pop in on my sister-in-law while she was getting tattooed. During that visit, I mentioned wanting to get my dog Skye tattooed on me, and from that conversation, I knew right away that Tuchies was the artist I wanted for such a meaningful piece. The portrait of Skye came out absolutely phenomenal. It's so detailed and lifelike, it feels like he's peeking out of a photo. Skye is still very much alive and my whole world, so this tattoo is a celebration of him that I get to carry forever. The shop itself is welcoming, professional, and has such a great vibe. Both times I've been here, the experience has been nothing short of amazing. If you're looking for an artist who can take your vision and not only bring it to life but elevate it beyond expectations, Tuchies is the one! 10/10 I will be back for more ink!
