May of 2022, I was in town visiting my cousin, and was in desperate need of a Brazilian. My cousin got me in with Cheri, and what an experience. I have been getting waxed for over 6 years and i'm telling you I've never had such a wonderful experience. Cheri was so personable and so sweet, I felt terrible because i was well overdue for a wax, (hadn't had one since February). There was no pain at all, all around what a pleasurable visit, I want to say the wax she used was magic, however I know it was just Cheri ;). If the experience itself wasn't enough, it's been 7 weeks since i've seen her and I have barely considered going in for a wax. I got two facials and a Brazilian and eyebrow wax with Heather and she was amazing. Luckily she was able to accommodate me for a last minute appointment for the waxes and a facial for my first visit. The wax was great because she uses hard wax which is what my skin and hair respond to best. The 30 min glow facial was truly amazing. There was a particular part of my face that was breaking out really bad and I noticed a big difference the day after my facial. My whole face was so smooth and some of the blemishes were even gone. The extractions helped a lot too. The neck and shoulder massage while the mask is on was so relaxing. I booked another facial for a few days later and my skin was even better after that one. I wish I would've found Heather sooner because I had to leave as I was only living in the area for work temporarily. I travel a lot for work and often have to find new places to go to for waxes and facials due to relocation. With that said, I have had many wax and facial experiences but I will never forget my experience with Heather. She is knowledgeable about skincare and made me feel really comfortable during my appointments to ask questions as dealing with acne can be a touchy/frustrating subject sometimes. Her facial massage is off the scale - so relaxing, lymphatic drainage [?], inc. hand and scalp massages that were She listens to your needs and is very calming, she knows when its important to have peace and quiet to enjoy this little bit of 'me time'. Today was my third appointment with Jessica and my first appointment with Riley. And I plan on continuing to treat myself once a month. Jessica is so nice and welcoming. I've been a stressed out nursing student so she's also been so supportive and encouraging. And with stress comes bad skin so she's been helping me out a lot. I've gotten both the microderm and the "get your glow on." Both are relaxing and have made my skin beautiful. As for massages, I don't know why I wasted my time and money elsewhere. Well... when I made my first facial appointment at the Skin Loft, Riley was booked so I had to go elsewhere but I can now see why Riley was booked. She is well worth the wait. I jog, I stand for hours on my feet some days, and other days I'm hunched over books for hours. My back especially is suffering. The place I was going before tried to force the knots out; I'd spend half the session gritting my teeth and return home in pain. But Riley! She's really made an impression on me. Few massage therapists work WITH your body and not against it. She really worked on my knots, but it didn't hurt. And she assigned a stretch for me to do at home to help with my worst problem area. My knots are very stubborn and it's going to take a few sessions to get me fixed up. But I came home relaxed and feeling great. I couldn't help but to take one of the best naps I had in a while. read more

My friend and I went to the Skin Loft and got spray tans for Stagecoach because, hello, SHORTS. We were late (blame the bloody marys) and had to wipe off all the yummy stuff from the body scrubs we'd just gotten at La Quinta so we held the whole game up terribly. Which is all background to say that Tracy was AWESOME and patient and unrushed despite our lack of courtesy. The tan did exactly what it was supposed to do, smelled exactly like it was supposed to, rinsed down the shower drain like we'd been coal mining all day just like it was supposed to and, in the end, made our white shorts look super white. Tracy didn't gasp at my arm fat and even gave me a sample of the tan sauce to use in my home sprayer because she's cool like that. The location is a little hard to find on your first date but it's cute once you find it. Give yourself a few extra minutes. The girls at skin loft are great. They are friendly and welcoming and make you feel comfortable even in an uncomfortable situation (like getting a brazilian wax). The only reason I didn't give five stars is because I feel like they don't get every hair. The very best waxes I have had involved some tweezing at the end to get the last few stubborn hairs. Okay so I'm going to be 100% honest with you. I love Tracy sooooo much. I've been to so many different waxing locations including hers, European wax center and as well as 1,000 nail places. I have never felt more comfortable and more satisfied with my wax and spray tan than I do with Tracy. Compared to European wax center, Tracy is a lot more personal and really likes to get to know her clients. European wax center likes to claim that their wax is one of a kind and nobody else has it, well Tracy does and has even better ones and she is at SUCH a reasonable price compared to them. European Wax Center charged me $22 for and EYEBROW WAX and Tracey charged me less than half that! ($10). I had to stop going to her because I moved to San Diego and now I wax myself because I don't trust anyone else but her! DEFINITELY go see Tracy she is so sweet and reasonable! read more
