I have been in the desert almost 9 years now and have been going to the same nail salon. I don't know why I stayed, they never appreciated my loyalty and didn't seem to care that I kept coming back. It would take her 30min to do my nails only to rush to be on her phone. There would be dipping powder still around my nails and I would have to ask for oil to rub on my cuticles. I think I stayed because I was too overwhelmed to find another salon since there are so many. I mostly stayed because of the girl that did my pedi's, she was great. My daughter was visiting and she happened to go to Bella Nails and said how good they were, (she's extremely picky), I thought what the heck, my old salon won't miss me. Helen got me right in and was so grateful I came in. She showed more appreciation in 1 min., than my last salon ever showed. I understand why one customer said Helen was running around, it's because she is constantly getting things for pedicures to assure the towels are hot, and the rocks for massaging are the right temp. She is a very busy woman and is a hard worker, I didn't find her rude at all. I had a great pedicure, very gentle and did a great job. She also did my dipping nails, and WOW, she is so detailed. Remember when salons used to cut your cuticles if dry, well Helen does it, remember when you used to get oil and lotion afterwards on your hands, well Helen does it. I got a gel pedicure, and that same day all of the gel polish on my toes started popping off. Not peeling off, just the entire strips of polish came off. So either something didn't cure right or their lamps aren't strong enough, but this has never happened before. read more

I went to go get my nails done and I asked for a French tip with chrome over. While I was getting my nails done the lady was very rude and honestly, she left multiple times and was being not gentle at all with me. When it came to the application, I could tell she was rushing and just by the fact that she didn't even file them down and they were the complete opposite shape of what I asked for. My nails were super thick, and the French tip was very uneven along with the chrome being not even the color I asked for. Instead of square nails, she gave me duck nails and thick nails. After my appointment, I was so upset by the turnout my nails. I went to a different salon and got them redone and when I called asking for a half refund for the design, they told me no and hung up on me. Very unprofessional and I will never be returning. Also charge me 70 bucks. Insane for the service I received. read more

SHE WAXED MY LIP EVEN THOUGH I SAID NO I went to Bella Nails yesterday for a gel manicure and pedicure. The lady doing my nails asked if I wanted my eyebrows cleaned up so I got my brows waxed as well. When I was in the waxing room, she asked if I wanted my lip done too. I very clearly said no, just clean up my brows. She waxed one eyebrow and then the next thing I knew, she was putting wax on my lip! I could not have been more clear that I did not want my lip waxed SHE DID IT ANYWAY! She kept telling me it was free it wasn't about the cost. I've never had my lip waxed. I was concerned about my lip breaking out and of course it is. I explicitly said no and she ignored me. I had no choice because the wax was already on my face. Went back to Bella Nails while in town for Christmas and needed a dip manicure on my natural nails. I had visited them before and had a nice experience, this time it was a manicure from hell. The manicure came out horrible, very misshapen and with polish all over the sides of the nail and on my skin. Helen started my nails and then had Philip finish them. Normally I would have gone back and asked for a refund, but I was only briefly in town and busy with Christmas, so I decided to just suck it up and deal with it. One week later, one of my nails painfully broke off (probably because my hair was already getting caught under it despite only being on for such a short amount of time), and major nail fungus was revealed. I have never had any fungus in my life prior to visiting this salon. If I had it when I went in, everyone would have noticed. I had to visit a salon in my local area to have the polish on all my nails removed to make sure they were not infected as well. I also had to get medication from a doctor for the nail fungus. I went back to the salon 4 weeks after the initial manicure when I was back in town. When I showed them photos and explained what had happened, they were not sympathetic whatsoever. They said that they didn't believe me, that I should have come in sooner, that acrylic nail sets need to be refilled every two weeks so it must be my fault, and said I was being disrespectful. They did everything they could to make me feel like I was somehow cheating them for asking for a refund on the manicure that gave me a nasty nail fungus. They put a woman on the phone that told me that they deal with people like me all the time- I asked "people that get nail fungus?" She replied "no, people that want free services." I have never been treated so poorly by anyone at a salon, and cannot stress enough that this salon should be avoided. They even called me "crazy" as I was walking out, they're crazy for not taking any responsibility or even offering an apology. The photos speak for themselves. read more

First, VERY friendly staff. I went in for a mani/pedi with no appointment and they immediately had time for me. The pedicure was amazing, results were perfect. The manicure felt great and I was initially happy throughout the process. Some of the filing was lopsided (but smooth). I assume it might be because the entire manicure was done from one side of the pedicure station. The biggest thing was that there was a lot of excess dry skin around the nails on one of my hands once the manicure was done. I love the color and how they did the gel process, but its super obvious in the photo that theres a lot of little pieces that should have been cut with cuticle pliers. Also when the parafin wax was done after my nails were finished, there was a lot of wax left on my hands and under my nails. I liked the results of my pedi and one of my hands, but at the end of the day I'm a little embarrassed about how some of my nail beds look. I was there on May 9th for a pedicure and a nail fill. The nail tech that did my pedicure touched the skin on my leg with the solution for callus remover and at the time I felt a tad stinging. A few days later I am at the ER at Eisenhower hospital for a burn and it's infected. So presently I am on antibiotics. I wont be returning to Belle Nails. It was a new nail he h and he was older .
