Like the other reviews said, management has changed so the workers are trying very hand to build a good reputation. I usually like to support mom and pop kind of nail salons because I know its harder for them to compete with more modern savvy nail salons. The lady who did my nails was also named Sophia LOL what a coincidence. I got a basic manicure and pedicure to change up my colors and get rid of some dead skin. Sophia told me they were doing a promotion right now with free paraffin wax. I had no idea what that was but it's free LOL. Ignore the 3 stars review on this. I wasn't here before management turned over, but today was my first visit and it was great! Very clean, all the hairs and pillows looked new. This is one of the few places that is open until 6pm on a Sunday night! I got there just before 5 for a pedicure and they were closing at 6pm. They went above and beyond to give me a great pedi with a special milk and honey soak, Paraffin treatment, hot stone massage as well as regular massage.in all I did t leave there until 6:40pm!! They were in no rush so I didn't feel like I was putting them out. I thanked them for staying late and she still wanted me to sit under the dryer and put dry fast drops on. Give them a chance, you won't be disappointed. When you're going up against big 5 star salons in the area, these smaller, less extravagant salons get over looked. I've never been more relaxed during a mani/pedi then I was here. The dip manicure was so amazing and the signature pedicure was great. Considering the signature pedicure is one of their more expensive pedicures ($45) it was ten times better then any other salon. I have been to salons where their basic pedicure is that price and isn't nearly as amazing and relaxing. And on top of all that, they were very sweet ladies and I didn't feel uncomfortable or judged. 5 stars for me and I will be going back! read more

This place is great if you want to relax and get your nails done. They have a large selection of colors including OPI and gel nail polishes. The technicians were super friendly. The most important thing to me is feeling comfortable. I normally don't like getting my feet touched or massaged, but they do a good job adapting to your comfort level. read more

I've been to 5 different salons in the last several months and this was by far my best experience. Kim is so incredibly sweet and does an amazing job on my dip nails. I've had some really thick and fake looking jobs in the past. I'm so glad to finally have found a place I will go back to! This place is perfect for those who live in Hidden Lakes but even if I didn't live here, I would make the drive to get the same experience. Update: the owner was prompt in calling me back to apologise and offer a fix. Since I work and have most weekends taken, I told him I don't have the extra time for a redo. I've kind of lost confidence here, but that I appreciate the follow up. The staff was very nice. Amy did my pedicure, Nancy did my dipped nails. Nancy did ok on my left hand nails, but my right hand was not good. Lots of large lumps, the corners of the new nails cracked off as she worked on them. She told me she would do a better job next time. I'm sorry, I made a mistake by coming here. Very sad. Lesson learned. read more

I hate to write this review because I want to keep this place a secret, but Jenny and Sophia deserve to have the word spread. I'm new to the Dallas-Fort Worth area and have tried many nail salons but none come close to comparing to D&T. It's my understanding they're under new management. New management has done a good job in renovating the place. This place has brand new spa chairs and is kept nice and clean. Staff is very nice and friendly and good at trying to keep you happy. I had the dip powder manicure done for the first time and really loved it. I had the gel nail polish done for my pedi and it lasts for awhile. If you're in the area, give this place a try! read more

This place used to be my favorite pedicure place. They do 45 minute massages, foot wax treatments were included in their pricing, and they had a huge variety. Unfortunately, tho place has gone down hill in the last six or so months. They no longer give you free drinks, only three scented pedicures are offered (lavender, eucalyptus, and green tea), and getting calluses off---forget it. With that being said, they till include the hot wax foot treatment and the staff is so-so. I just don't think this place is worth the price anymore. read more

I came here to get my nails done for a wedding. I was able to walk right in and was helped immediately. The staff was fantastic! They really went out of their way to give me the best manicure/pedicure as possible! They were friendly and kind. The cost was lower than what I have typically experienced in the area! I enjoy coming here for manicures & pedicures. The spa is clean, the techs all follow sanitation guidelines ; disassembling drains between clients, use of an autoclave to sterilize and use of fresh files. The wait time is minimal and the techs are very friendly. They also do a great job on a shellac manicure. read more

This salon is immaculate, the pedicure chairs are brand new and the whole salon has been renovated. Mary worked on my nails and I could not be more pleased. She took her time and made sure I was happy with my nails. I would highly recommend coming here to get pampered. I have been listening to my wife complain for two hours about taking her sisters to this salon. She LOVES manicure and pedicures and has literally never not tipped in her life. She paid 174 for 4 pedicures and 3 manicure and they were rude the entire time. DO NOT BOOK GROUP APPOINTMENTS HERE! I booked a bridal party of 5 for a pedicure and manicure a MONTH in advance and even called the day before to confirm we were still set. I showed up 15 minutes prior to our scheduled appointment and there were only 4 nail techs on staff who all were just starting on other customers. They did not start on our group for at least half an hour which caused us to be over an hour late to our facials and massages next door at Harmony Spa. Their pamphlet says to book group events and they can do anything - NOT TRUE. One of the nail techs even had the nerve to ask how far in advance I booked the appointment. I have been going there for several years. I have been fairly pleased with the service but my last few visits not so much so. There have been boxes stacked everywhere, I question the cleanliness, the techs eat their meals in the salon area bringing food odors to the salon, there is constant loud chatter between the techs which is not relaxing or professional and the prices are a bit higher in comparison to other salons for similar services. When I lived in Keller, this was my go to nail salon (circa 2008 ish). I recently came back to visit my parents for Christmas and decided to return to my once favored nail salon to get a pedicure and gel manicure. Yikes, people. The customer service and quality of the work has severely diminished. Half the staff were on their iPads shopping and speaking to each other in a different language. I wish I knew the names of the two women who serviced me, but I don't. Fancy Nail used to offer you a beverage, put scented salts into your foot tub (complimentary), and pay attention to what they were doing. The woman who gave me a "pedicure" was unbelievably absent minded. She was fast and careless, she was usually facing a coworker having a conversation with them instead of focusing on what she was doing to my feet. She did not offer any salts, and when she mentioned callous removal- it was an extra five dollars. Extra five dollars?! I'm paying $30.00 for a pedicure and you're going to nickel and dime me for something that should already be included in the price? (Side note: If I was a 58 year old man with feet that had never been touched by a callous remover and it was going to take her an extra 10 minutes to complete the deed, I would understand the charge. But I am 23 with size six shoe size and barely have any callouses.) She never acknowledged me, asked if I liked the color, offered any designs, or said thank you when she finished. She simply slapped flip flops on my feet and went back to her coworkers to order clothes off of an iPad. The woman who gave me my gel manicure was generally nicer, but her work was also subpar for what I was charged. When I got home, I found numerous hangnails on my fingers. They charged me $65.00 total which is more than I pay including tip down in Austin where I currently live. I was blown away by the changes and hiked up prices. This place is a dump. I've been waiting over 30 minutes for a simple wax. There are 6 employees here and only one with a customer, but that's the only one who can do waxing apparently. The other women are eating and burping and doing their own nails. I've also had one lady cough directly at me without covering her mouth. Seriously?!?! I wouldn't stay here normally, but I have a gift certificate that I need to use. The fact that its 1pm on a Sunday and there are no customers should tell you the quality if the work. read more
