They don't force dip powder on you, which is great because I know a lot of nail salons typically pushes dipping powder onto people and it makes me uncomfortable. Joy was my nail tech and she was so gentle and detailed the entire time while doing my nails! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and I even asked to switch it up a little and she did it perfectly. Everyone at the store was so kind and made you feel super comfortable as well. *If you want an appointment, make sure to mention if you want any designs along with your manicure so they can schedule that correct time frame for you. I used to LOVE this place- Jin and Maria were AWESOME- they did the best Gel X and pedicure I've ever had. Just went yesterday and they are no longer there. I left so disappointed and will never go back. Cindy did my gel x and I left with glue all over my fingers and it overflowing on the nail, terrible paint job, she cut my cuticle so badly it wouldn't stop bleeding and she was rough with her filing and was filing my skin- AND she tried to charge me an extra $10 to soak off my Gel x- Jin never did that. The pedicure with an older lady was quick and mediocre, the paint job is awful. I used to drive 30+ to see Jin and Maria, NEVER AGAIN. read more

Came across this gem a few months ago and I have yet to be disappointed. Sheila had been helping me a couple of times and was an amazing sweetheart and did very well on my pedicure, it lasted for a good 3 months! I came in hoping they have eyebrow threading but they do not. One of the employees however assured me that their wax is very gentle for sensitive skin. A very excited Korean woman named, Joy, did my eyebrows and it was hilarious because every time she was about to rip off the strips she would say, "readddy?!?!" And when she yanked it off she'd go, "crooooom..." I don't know why I laughed so hard when she'd make that noise. Very cute. She made a great shape but didnt trim it. I've been to Silk Nails twice now for a classic pedicure and had a great experience both times. They take appointments and are, thus far, very good about honoring them and not making you wait upon arrival. They have OPI products and some other nail polish brands for you to choose from. The massage chairs are comfortable and although they don't use plastic liners for the foot bath, everything seems to be carefully cleaned. Each time, they've had great attention to detail in prepping my toes for polish. They have the "cheese grater" if your feet necessitate its use. The massage that is included with the classic pedicure is decent and they wrap a hot towel on your legs afterward. They paint your toenails with your sandals on so that when they are done, they can walk you over to the drying station for your polish to dry. They then spray your pedicures to keep it longer lasting and mine have tended to last for over a month. I will definitely be back! read more

I KNOW ITS LONG, PLEASE READ. I bought the Groupon for the eyelash extensions set. The application was surprisingly quick, maybe 45 mins. I had read it should take 1.5-2 hrs for good application, but whatever. I liked them a lot, no hassle in the morning was great! I had a points card for them and probably went back 7 times. She honors a cheap price (27 in cash for 2 week fill). The lest time I went, my eyes were itchy later that night; I didn't think anything of it. I woke up with my eyes swollen shut and I'm so much pain. I texted her and asked what happened, all she said was "I used same products as last time, take allergy pills", well, okay. It got worse and worse each day. Later on in the week, I was at a wax appt, and it just so happens that she also does eyelash extensions. She told me the application was done to my EYELID instead of eyelashes. She also said the glue was way too strong and damaging. My eyelids still have ripples in them, 2 months later. I was in town visiting my parents and needed an NYE manicure. I called and was able to be seen within 10 minutes of calling. K worked on my gel/no chip manicure and it has been one of the best I've ever had! And it has lasted quite a bit longer. She was great in using tools when removing my previous no chip and my cuticles looked great. She recommended a combo sparkly as accent nails and it looked fantastic.
