Great job on my dipped powder nails. I was worried about the first color so the did 3 coats on my pinkie to make sure. It didn't match the sample so they helped me find another color and I love it! My daughter also had cluster (mink) lashes applied. Athena was terrific in a terrible situation. My daughter had asked for much more dramatic lashes than she wanted (ugh). Athena was terrific about removing them after she had carefully applied them for her. I was so embarrassed but Athena was so professional! First off... this is a beautiful and very clean facility! And... I was welcomed by a friendly lady! They have a full bar where they sell alcoholic beverages (I was never offered a menu or a drink... whatevs, I didn't go in there for that.) But that's about where the positives end. I requested a mani and a pedi. Instantly offered gel polish, which I refused, because summer, duh and it wears off fast. Plus I work with my hands... I just wanted a good massage and a fresh coat. Anyways. A little harassment for not getting gel... and come chatter and laughter in a language I don't understand. That's cool... whatevs. Then the lady working on my feet... she grabs a file and starts this sawing action like she has 5 minutes to escape from prison or something! I say... hey hey... please, that hurts I guess my feet are sensitive. She looks at me, grabs another toe and goes to town. Oh. My. Eva. Loving. Nerve! I yank my foot back and say 'Owww' loudly knowing that that should translate fine. More chatter I don't understand. Do not come here!!! I got my nails done with gel polish here on June 8th. My nail polish almost immediately started to peel off and I went in to get them fixed a week and ONE day later. The lady who greeted me was happy to take me until she realized I was wanting the service for free because I paid $75.00 on my last visit. She then said she was too busy to take me. I asked the lady to call the manager. The man proceeded to say that it's been more than one week and we only guarantee a week of quality with gel polish. The minimum it's ever lasted for me ever was 2 weeks and I could have just done regular nail polish. He refused to let me choose a different brand saying it would be an extra charge and refused to change all the nail polish and wanted to choose the ones he wanted to and said I was peeling them off myself which was not the case as they were clearly lifted off my nail bed or chipping. I requested a refund and the manager refused. Terrible customer service and will never come here again! Recommend you don't go here either!! read more

If you're looking for a basic, no frills, questionable customer service place to receive mania and pedis this is at. This nail bar was a recommendation from another local beauty service provider. I went in on a Friday evening (about 4:30pm - 4:45pm) and it wasn't busy. The person who did my pedi was average at best. She kept wanting to show me the dead skin from my feet (I already knew how dry my feet were). When I asked her for water she brought me a warm cup of water. When I asked for cold water she said that was all they have. The person who did my mani went back and forth with me about whether I had dip or gel on my nails - of course I know what I had previously done to my nails! After I left I realize she didn't paint my nails completely to the sides and I could see through the color. Needless to say I won't be returning. read more

I am commenting on the service and my experience as I did not get my nails done here. When I walked in for a dip mani I was told there was no wait at all. I was then told to pick a color and sit down- I waited 10 min and during that time a sweet girl came in to have her nails fixed bc they had already chipped after just a couple of days. I decided to look on here at reviews. It appears they skip steps and don't dip your nails in the powder as many times as they should. I decided to leave and not get my nails done. Management: please hire more people. It would be helpful to be told if there is a wait. It's much better than being told there is no wait and then have to wait but not knowing for how long. read more

We've been to several nail spas around Frisco/Plano area the last months with such bad results/experiences that I really started thinking I 'd be better off doing a half good job myself...until our new try today at Organic Nail Bar. I came in here the other day with a picture of the nails I wanted. I asked the counter if they could recreate the nails exactly, to which they responded yes. While doing my nails, they started to say that they didn't have the color I wanted, and once they started the design, it turned out they didn't have the gold I wanted either. Keep in mind that they said they had all these things when I came in and showed them the picture. They had to redo my pedicure twice because they didn't remove all of the gel from my past pedicure and were going to leave it like that if I didn't point out their obvious bad job. After they redid my pedicure, it still turned out pretty sloppy. I was over the situation and just paid. I came in at 1:20 p.m. and left at 4:40 p.m.; I've never had a nail salon take that long for short nails and a classic pedicure. read more

As I sat down I was helped by a lady name Dung. I don't know if she's having a bad day but her vibe was horrible. She had an attitude I asked her how's business she said soso and just turned around took off her sandals and got on her phone sitting there flipping through her phone having her back facing me. Like uhhhhhhhhh I didn't feel like I'm wanted there. I get that she's soaking off my gel but really? Also I told her to just let my gel soak off. She continuously using the drill and now my toe nails thin! I felt it burning when she was drilling it off. If you're going to seem like you don't want to be there. I came during "HAPPY HOUR" NO DISCOUNT ! I was told pick a color like normal. The gel manicures are either 35 or 40$ unless you get ombré which is 55$ Or the organic dip color which is 40$ ... I was Charged 50$ for The pink glitter nails color which Was dip , they were short no shape . I cAlled and asked why the up-charge , she says you got a special dipping powder ! Had a great experience here with Vivian! I came here once before for a pedicure but this time was my first manicure at Organic Nail Bar. I was hesitant to do the dip, since I've had terrible experience at other nail salons but I gave it a shot and I'm glad I did! Vivian was very accommodating to my nail shape and my requests! I'm so happy with how my dip nails turned out (I got the dip pink and white). It took a little longer than I expected but she was very meticulous and made sure they were perfect! While she was doing my nails she proceeds to ask me what length I wanted I told her the length that was in my index finger will be fine. She tells me that it'll be $5 so I'm confused because When I come to this location I usually go to Deanna and get the shape and length that is on my INDEX finger. Came here for the first time for a dip manicure & deluxe pedicure. Firstly, this was a beautiful salon and honestly I came here because I was in the shopping center. I normally go someplace else but figured this was convenient at the time. Warm, friendly & welcoming atmosphere but they just lack skill. Also, never have I ever been convinced to try "gel" on my toes in my life. This was excessive. I understand it's a more expensive service, but honestly I have extremely oily nail beds and I explained that the gel lifts within 6-8 hrs on my nails. I was asked 5-6 times if I wanted gel on my toes. The job was sloppy (dip powder) and uneven. Some nails were square and some were shaped round. I had asked for short/square. The drill really caused sensitivity to my nail beds (never happened before). The pedicure was not pleasant. I love having perfectly shaped, SQUARE toe nails and this was not what I got. Naturally, over time, my toe nails have been shaped exactly how I love them. Simply, the tech just need to cut down the length a little. Instead, she cuts them far down and completely disrupts the shape. I have crooked, uneven toe nails now! They slant and they're rounded. Given, I asked for square. I was offered a drink after my nail service. No complaints in regards to the drink service because I understand that the TDLR doesn't allow drink services during the COVID-19 restrictions. Overall, stick to what you know. The price was average. I paid $85 total (excluding tip). read more

It was meh. I was looking for a go-to place with non-toxic polish in the area. This isn't it, don't be fooled by the name. Non-Toxic: 0 I called to make sure they carried non-toxic polish and lady said yes, but I should have asked for the brand first so I can check. If you're looking for non-toxic look elsewhere. They push Live Love as non-toxic, which is on the same level of toxic as OPI so you might as well go anywhere else besides here. I do think the employees genuinely don't know, though. They just go by the lies written in faded sharpie on a collection of plastic samples marked "organic" (wtf organic nail polish? I use acquarella which is as nontoxic as it gets and they don't claim organic). Service - 3 Booked last minute and came in. I liked my lady, an older woman of few words but cool and totally reminded me of every auntie ever. Unfortunately she kinda rushed through my basic manicure because clearly they wanted to close early and go home. The place was OK clean I guess, tools came out of the plastic package but nail file was reused. My mom would probably want to wipe everything there down and dust if it was her house. As I was sitting there waiting to air dry (with no fan), I heard two other girls politely telling the staff that they only put one coat on when there should be two. The staff were relatively polite back and offered something but clearly those two, like myself, were not planning to come back or spend any more time there. I didn't want to sit there forever waiting for my nails to dry (especially since my lady came back once already and told me it's done even though it still left fingerprint indents when I tested) but I stayed a few more minutes to see if it would harden not wanting to ruin it so soon. I finally couldn't take it with the staff hiding in back waiting for me to leave so checked out with semi-dry nails. I went next door to eat a quick dinner and while waiting for my Uber at 7:40 saw that shop was closed. Would give -5 stars if I could. I came here for a pedicure over four years ago and let me tell you the short version of this horror story. They did something to my cuticle on my big toe and I ended up with a nasty infection that cost me well over $100 in a care now trip and antibiotics. The reason I'm making this review now is because of this one specific incident I still have issues with that exact cuticle TO THIS DAY. I went back asking for my money back because I had to pay so much at the doctor from something they caused most likely with untrained "nail techs" and dirty tools. When I explained what happened they told me "you probably kicked a pole to try and scam us." My doctor said it was a common infection from pedicures. I asked the man (I think the owner) if they use epa to sanitize and an autoclave, since I'm in the beauty industry I know whats the law. He got scared, got aggressive and called the cops on me and my friend. Note we didn't shout, make a scene or anything; simply asked for my money back from the service. When the cops arrived they were confused, the cop said it's unfortunate but he couldn't do anything for me and that they absolutely should not have been called. At the time my friends and I wrote a bunch of reviews warning people and the salon removed all them. Do not trust this place at all!! Not to mention when my friend got her nails done there with me, they nicked her on every single finger and the nail polish looked like it got done by a nine-year-old. read more

Horrible horrible... I purchased my wife $175 gift cards and when she got her nails done after 4 days three popped off. They offered to fix and 2 days later the same ones came off. After going back a third tone they redid them again and they were completely differnt. One owner said he would refund another called my wife a liar and would not refund. Continually said she was the cause and didn't even empathize with the request or live up to what the other owner said. STAY AWAY! BE AWARE THEY ARE SCAMMERS.
