There was also a home renovation show playing on the television with the captions on to help pass the time. Whether you have an appointment or not, you will check in at the front desk with your cell phone number. A laminated menu is provided with detailed descriptions allowing you to choose the nail services you want. Some use paraffin wax, hot stones, a variety of fragrances like lavender or vanilla, and different amounts of time for massage. The price for these services is also clearly labeled so that you know what you will be spending. Prices seemed reasonable with basic manis and pedis starting around $45. The place has been decorated with pink and black and has a chic feel with the crystal chandeliers and the cute French street mural on the entry wall. My technicians worked diligently and communicated mostly through hand gestures. I was okay with this since I really wanted to lie back and relax. My manicurist was amazing. She was very detailed and did an amazing job in precisely coloring my nail beds. They do a fine job here. You will get quality service and a decent value for money here.

Unfortunately, during my most recent visit, she left mid-appointment to do another client's lashes, and I was told (not asked) that another tech would finish my nails. I was handed off to a new tech I didn't know, and the appointment ended up taking over 2 hours, which felt excessive for a simple fill & deluxe pedicure performed simultaneously. I was also charged $55 for the fill plus $10 for two broken nails, even though 1 nail was just cracked, not fully broken off - bringing my total to more than the cost of a full set ($60). WOW!! When I asked about it, Lily did reduce the fee to $5, which I appreciated. But the situation left me feeling uncomfortable -- especially when their salon website clearly states that pricing is transparent and satisfaction is guaranteed. That said, I live nearby and still want to support this business. I just hope for better communication going forward -- especially when it comes to changes in service and pricing. I think this salon has great potential, and I'd love to keep coming back under more professional circumstances.
