I was given a window of 11:30-3:30 for the installation, so I went to work at 8 and planned to be home during the time frame they gave me. At 10:19 am, I received a call from the Geek Squad tech saying he was 4 minutes away from my house. I told him that I was at work and this was not within the time frame I was given. He said he could only wait 15 minutes and if I was not at my house then the installation would need to be rescheduled. I raced out of work and sped home. I passed the Geek Squad van as I was entering my neighborhood and he was leaving. I called and texted him that I was home but he cancelled my appointment. I lost time at work and did not receive the expensive installation I paid for. I immediately requested a refund for the installation and do not intend to shop at Best Buy again in the future. I have already found a private individual to install my TV for a fraction of the cost I was prepared to pay Best Buy.

Well, the "& up" is the tricky part. That's if you're OVER 50 miles. I live 46 miles from the store. This company, this man, wants to be petty and charge extra because he JUST delivered not far from there, yesterday. Ummm, I'm so sorry, that's not a "me problem", that's a "YOU problem". Do you deliver or do you not? Do you want to get paid, or do you not? THEN, now here's the kicker: his BROTHER calls me, first thing, on delivery day, telling me, it's gonna be a 2 hour ROUND trip, so he's GOT to charge me $180, because that's really far away from the store. I told him again the website says, 150, I can only pay 160. Well, in the end, I dwindled him down to $160. Delivery time was: Next day, which was awesome, leave the store around 11, get loaded, and get on the road by 12, get to me by 1. C'mon, that's 46 miles, 50 min-ish. So, 2:30 rolls around, and I'm like, where is he already?? So, I call him. He says, "Well, this is his brother, and his truck broke down, he hasn't called anyone to tell them he's not coming. BUT, you were told today, so I'm coming alone in my truck. Now, you don't live upstairs, do you?" I said, yes. He was hesitant to respond. He said, well, I left the store 15 min ago, I'm on my way. So, in conclusion, do not use the delivery service they refer!
